Trump is destroying his own credibility on a number of issues, and this is one of the great disconnects people on the right keeps saying he's doing a great job he's doing a wonderful job. Look Trump is faced with an intractable problem. In the Congress, he's got a Republican, was that is heavily divided. He's got tea. Partiers he's got a stab which, when guys he's got moderate, Republicans got everybody from Sue in Collins up in Maine to people all the way on the right, like TED Cruz in Texas. That is a rowdy caucus for sure, but that is why presidential leadership is necessary. That is why you need a president who knows what he leaves and does what he believes and pushes what he believes. Instead Trump keeps going out there and saying things that are self contradictory and it's leading

ignore him, and a president who is ignored is a president who cannot be effective. The last president we had actually ignored was Jimmy Carter. He was a deeply ineffective. President. Everybody was worried, but Trump took office on the left is going to be some sort of authoritarian dictator. My worry on the right is that Trump is actually gonna, get anything done except the stuff that he can get done with a bunch of Democrats in Congress like a giant infrastructure bill because he doesn't have the requisite leadership. Bills necessary and, more importantly, the viewpoint necessary in order to foster a conservative agenda. Here's a perfect example! So, over the weekend he's talking about trumpcare and the rumor is this week, there's supposed to be a vote on Trump care in the house now. Last week I discussed at length why it is, The new version of Trump care really isn't very good, even though the house even caucuses signing on? Basically, it just allows states to opt out of some of the Obama. CARE regulations, but it doesn't relieve the Obamacare regulations from the state, so it doesn't say to the states. No more Lincoln regulations what you're going to do. Instead, it says here's a bunch of Then regulations that force insurance companies to do anything now

do you want to be friends with the insurance companies? How many looking governor's. Do you know what I'm going to say? Yes to that question, the answer is not many So anyway, there's this amendment- and this amendment is what got the House Freedom Caucus on board this amendment that says states can opt out of Obamacare regulations. Donald Trump is asked about this John Dickerson over the weekend here is President Trump, they are worried. Are they going to have the guarantee of coverage if they have a pre existing condition or if they live in a state where the governor decides? That's not a part of the health care, so that the prices are going to go up. That's the worry. The American Medical Association says actually effectively make coverage completely unaffordable for people. We actually have forget about unaffordable. What's unaffordable, Obamacare Obama, CARE, John, I'm not hearing you Mister President, say there's a guaranteed pre existing. Actually, we actually have a clause that guarantees excellent. We have a specific explanation. Ok no he's wrong. So he says again this undercuts his credibility. He says we have

laws guaranteeing the pre existing condition coverage will be guaranteed. No, they don't know they don't the whole point of the amendment. About is to allow states to opt out. That's what the is asking about. So Trump just doesn't he's talking about here the problem with not knowing about what he's talking about is he can't then advocate for the bill. You have to know what to build the advocate for it Barack Obama for all the crap enus of his presidency knew what was in Obama care. You know all the crap that was in there. That was the problem. He was lying about the crap that was in there trump you have to actually know. What's in there to lie it trump, isn't because he doesn't even know what's in there, so he's made the guarantee now that he's going to bring down costs an cover, pre existing conditions. He said this over the weekend. You cannot have a regulatory regime that forces coverage of pre existing conditions and also going to bring down costs. They are inherently self contradictory. A square cannot be a circle and Trump is saying: a square can be a circle. It kills his credibility, it doesn't kill the legislative ability of Congress. Congress can still something and move it out, but it prevents him from being able to stump for something truly good. If he's going to do so another
