Love courage, truth, Glenn Beck. When is your capital? Really not? The capital
here, the nation of Israel. This is not a ridiculous question. When,
Would we ever say Washington DC? Is not the capital of the United States? Know it's Detroit! Now it's not it's! Not it's not.
Even though their capital is Jerusalem. Most of the world acts like it's not. We seem to have no problem with people saying no, I identify today is a black woman. I I don't
by today at the capital of Israel, is in TEL Aviv really really
the reason, why is because we don't want to make the terrorists angry to
a president Trump is expected to announce his decision about whether or not to keep the american Embassy in TEL Aviv Trump.
Intention is to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel an relocate. The embassy there now Logistic
Really, it's a move that makes sense
It also conveniently is uh the truth Sim.
Alec Lee it's going to piss off
everybody who hates Israel and the Jews, but guess what
Do we base our policy on who hate
The Jews.
I think this is a uh
bravest moves. I've seen a president make perhaps
and Ronald Reagan said it was an evil empire when he was
about the Soviet Union.
He is standing up to the decades of bullying. He is
kick Nising Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The United
AIDS is sending a clear message that threats of violence by the Palestinians and others are
tolerated, it's also a mess,
age, that's being sent that
official US policy should not be ignored. So let's
back to a time when Bill Clinton was in office for a second, it was nineteen. Ninety one thousand nine hundred and ninety five,
past the jurors.
Embassy act know. What is that
that required the american embassy to relocate from TEL Aviv to Jerusalem. Let me say this again: it
wired.
The embassy to relocate to Jerusalem in that
acted seats, that Jerusalem should be undivided and their recognized the recognized capital of Israel, Ananas
side note how
This pass the act
as ninety three to five in the Senate and three
one hundred and seventy four to thirty seven in the house, the moon,
can only be cancelled if
overtly stop it every six months, and that is what we've done every six months for the last twenty two years. The present,
is, come out and said you know jeez, oh well, that's supposed to have you know I was
I was busy in the bathroom
and I just haven't had time to when we need another six months.
It's a law that is twenty two years late in being enacted and it's-
Berra sing that it is taken this long and it's a slap in the face to our trusted ally. It need
to be implemented, then it should have been done in nineteen forty eight and it certainly should be implemented now, if Trump
actually follows through on this.
It's a brave move and he deserves a lot of credit for it. And if he does
real will finally be able to let everyone know that their capital.
Is actually their capital. It's Wednesday December say you're listening to collect that program. So there was a
there's a there's: a new book out the wilderness deep inside the Republican Party's, combative, contentious, chaotic quest to take back the White House
and out of that for the writer Mckay Coppins has written an article gods
and for MIKE Pence and if you just
look through it, because it's from the Atlantic, the the pictures you know make
MIKE Pence, look like you know, he's an apostle or whatever, but it is not a slam on religious people. It's just trying to understand
It depends on what drives him. How can he have two masters? How can
he be the guy who we all think MIKE Pence is but then stuff
as much as he has and
it's a really fascinating. Look into MIKE Pence
especially today with
of the the president. Possibly you know claiming
I'll, believe it when I see it, but I think he's going to do it.
Today recognizing the jurors,
as the capital of Israel, so welcome to the program
It happens. I'm like Batman, you bet so make
hey. First, let's, let's talk a little bit about Israel and Jerusalem?
Is this surprise? You want something,
He campaigned on Trump said, and it's something that I know a lot of people in his orbit have been claiming was coming, but you know past presidential candidates
and on this as well, and then not follow through on it. It's the you know one of those eternal promises.
Made to conservative Christians, conservative Jews in this country, and then it never ends up happening. I still would frankly be a little skeptical. I think you're I'll, believe it when I see it
add, stands at the right one. You know this. It did caution that this takes
time, obviously should build. An embassy would take a long time, but you know it's certainly
if it ends up happening, it's certainly a victory for a lot of the conservative voted for Trump on that. Is it a victory just to officially declare that it is the capital from the White House
sure? I mean yeah, that's more than has been done before right now, I kind of look at it. I kind of look at it like the bear ears, monument that he can say whatever he wants and say, yeah we declare, but until you've actually cemented it and there's just no turning back as soon as you move the embassy, then
it's more than Donald Trump, then it is the United States is on that course. That's right! That's why I
we have to wait and see if the embassy actually gets built or if actual tangible plans get announced and that we, you know, we just don't know yet. Okay, so
let's talk a little bit about MIKE Pence, because I think this kind of fits into your the way you look at MIKE Pence, and that is he's there,
or because he believes that God works in mysterious ways, and maybe he's just supposed to you know, stand up at some point. If the president falls down right, there
the thing that I found really interesting about MIKE Pence is that he is by all accounts and can't
do I take some liberal caricatures of him
Jenny, genuine man of faith favor.
Pigeon is at the core of his identity and has been at least since call
edge, and probably even before that
you know he really is motivated by a desire to serve God, and he thinks that he can do that in the political realm. But you know it's also kind of tangled up
zone, personal ambitions as well, and so you know when
Trump came knocking last year last spring after securing the republican nomination, and
I said I want you to be my running mate. Mike pence was kind of faced with a choice that milk
ends of conservative Christians were faced with last year, which is, can we overlook the kind of
note to put it politely flaws.
This man's character right can we look overlook this man
uh, you know character his values. His perhaps lack
morality and still support him in
suit of a broader and they would say more important policy agenda political agenda
uh, you know MIKE Pence, made the decision that he could an and so did frankly, over an overwhelming number of conservative Christians. I think it's still in
question whether that that compromised
kind of gamble will pay off for MIKE Pence and for four,
people who supported him. I mean they did you know people who voted for Trump just because of the the policy victories that they wanted to attain, they've got
some things right: they've gotten, a Supreme Court justice, the who's, a conservative that, just today like
said the announcement about Jerusalem. That could be a big victory for them, but at the same time
You know every compromise has consequences. An MIKE Pence finds him.
In the middle of this kind of swirling investigation,
over Russia? And you know, while he is by all accounts, trying to stay above board.
Trying to keep his his hands clean of all of this when you cozy up to somebody
trumpet it can. A lot of things can happen that you didn't expect so get out the fairway to put it. So, would you say that your impression it because I just want to give you my impression- I don't want to quote any conversations.
But I was around MIKE Pence during the the run up when we
Still was not clear that Donald Trump was going to be the candidate going into the
primary, where pence had
worst cruise cruise and my impression was at the time in speech.
Until MIKE Pence that he
exactly who Donald Trump was, and it wasn't a guy that he had a lot of faith in
It mildly that, and that is, I think you would be an accurate impression. He is about it yet no MIKE Pence with not on the Trump Kerr
and he
early, and I mean even remember it well,
remember when Trump announced at the Muslim Ban or the proposed
one band in December of two thousand and fifteen pence came out
opposition to it. He said that this is, you know, an affront to american values or something like that yeah and he spoke out and at other times during the primary heat. My impression
is that he was fairly clear eyed about who Donald Trump was. In fact, after this story came out. I haven't shared this yet but after,
My profile was published yesterday I got an email from
he who is in Indiana Delegate was, was slated to be a delegate at the Republican
national Convention from Indiana and went,
pull the nomination. This person decided they couldn't show up to the convention and said that
run up to it during the primary kind of in the what, when it was still not clear whether
Trump would win it. Then
this person got a lot of phone?
calls and emails from people in pence's inner circle who all said
got governor agrees with you like this is. Is you know? This is not great that he he she
Is your your your concerns and
You know, a few weeks later was announced that he would be the running mate. So let me ask you: this is a! Let me ask you about that, because you in this interview, you spoke to his wife, and you know: you've you've done your homework here. Do
do you believe that pence,
this for his, as you said earlier, his political aspirations, or
Did he do this because he thought I may
you know it may be a you know:
God's will that somebody is standing in that room that
doesn't necessarily agree with him, and I need to hold the line and be there. I
actually think that's not it at those two are mutually exclusive. My and my impression from all the interviews that I've done all the people I've talked to close to him is that he had. He got himself to appoint pens that we
he believed that both yes, you know, he
political aspirations he's always believed that he was you know he wanted to be president,
ever since he was in college, but also he believed he could do some good. There
right and look I mean this is this- is something that we all
will struggle with I. I don't think that this is. You know
weekly, a problem that MIKE Pence's is everyone, tries
reconcile their ambitions with their idea.
It's right whether they're religious ideals or whatever else, and I think that he's convinced himself that
you know being in the room next to Donald Trump.
Having the president's here is a way to to do good to
to promote an agenda that will help people that will you know protect.
Questions that will pushed
all forward on issues that he cares about. So I think that you know part of the reason he's been so loyal to Trump is because of that,
the second site. I want to talk to Mckay about his conversation with the
MRS Pence
who had some things that were quite frank in the article when we come back

Glenn Beck
Glenn Beck, Mckay Coppins, who has written a great story, God's plan for MIKE Pence in it
He tells the story of the access, Hollywood tape and what MIKE Pence's wife said and what happened behind the scenes begin you
just walk us through this Mckay
sure this is based on interviews with four
campaign, aides and, and people close to the pences or friends of the pences, but so first
I should say that after pens joined the ticket,
Trump made an effort to kind of convey,
expense that, beneath all the sort of made for tv bluster Trump
bravado he.
Actually a good guy with faith in God, because he wanted pence to feel comfortable on the ticket.
And feel like he was, he was doing a good thing and in fact, on the night of the vice presidential debate, Trump left.
Voicemail, letting pens
he just said a prayer for him, which is something that pens sounds very moving and really loved so fast,
I went to the access Hollywood tape coming out and I'm told that this was really jarring
experience for for MIKE Pence
particular his wife. One campaign aide told me that I care
Pence Penn's, was disgusted by the video and
former campaign, had said that she finds him reprehensible just to to leave I'll. That's the direct quote
open quote in my life?
and I think most women in the country at the moment- probably a lot of women at the moment exactly so here's what
What's interesting, though, is you remember that kind of the forty eight hours after that tape came out there? It was just as
total upheaval in the campaign- and you know republicans- were calling on Trump to drop out and there was all kinds of chaos and I
report in a story that, in the midst of all of that MIKE Pence, privately
it clear to the Republican National Committee that he was ready to take Trump's place as the nominee
at and impacted during an emergency meeting between Trump and his top advisors
in the midst of all of this. That weekend, Ryan Spree
this was then chairman of the Rnc, actually said that that
and send Condoleezza Rice we're ready to step in to form the new GOP ticket
now, obviously, that end up happening what happened and then
well yeah. I know actually really that it to your right, because what happened is that it? You know, I'm told
one former campaign aide that they thought they were going to be able to convince Trump to drop out before the debate. That was that Sunday night
at the end of that weekend and instead he you know Trump was defiant which
it is often ban and he showed up and he brought the Clinton accuser. Is your member, this and and and by the end of that debate it kind of turned things around and Republicans have bad stop calling
them to drop out and, and by the next day, pence was back out on the stump, but
The reason, I think that that story is important and the reason I put it in the pieces that it raises questions
especially in Trump's, orbit the people I've talked to about how
How long
this loyalty will last from Penn? So you know, is pence really willing to
go down with the ship so to speak and find it these investigations continue? I find it make a very interesting that now they're, starting to say you know, did
did MIKE Pence actually know more than he said about Russia and the
idea, you know I I
MIKE Pence is really smart and I believe, you're right under the direction you're going here and
I think MIKE is smart enough to see trouble and say I'm staying way away from that to remain clean to be
able to be the guy that can rise up behind
yeah. So that's, I think, a good point. I don't know. What's going to come out, you know he was the head of the transition. When I
this kind of trouble started right, but I do
I think that there is a you know, obviously, we'll see what happens and what information comes out, but I do think that yeah pence above above everything else is, you know,
careful he's very cautious right. He I think he, even though he was
transition I can easily
You see a scenario where he
he was operating on a kind of, don't ask, don't tell policy mix
coppins. The article is God's plan for MIKE Pence more in a minute.
Glenn Beck,
This is the Glenn Beck program,
Bureau is going to be joining us at the top of the hour. Then
is going to have a lot to say about what President Trump is supposed to, or supposedly going to announce today that
in the United States is recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Strangely, that's a big deal, a very big,
and also the it appears as though, according to think progress that the case for the people against the Bay
errors in Colorado.
Not go well for them. Yesterday, in the Supreme Court, Kelly Shackelford has been there. He was
watching the case and he's going to talk to us. That's also next hour we're talking okay coppens from the Atlantic, who wrote the article God's plan for MIKE Pence,
things I like Mckay in Mckay's with us now is he
unlike many mainstream reporters, I get the sense he has. It gets as much.
Nuanced understanding of people of faith.
And you were, you were on the Romney bus for that that campaign, were you not
yeah I was, and if the the only Mormon on that on there on the bus reporter- and I don't know if the other people knew that or not, but you were, you were constantly for
two indoor
religious and Mormon jokes from the other members of the press. Is that right?
it's true AL, although I I wrote about this after the campaign, I didn't think it was necessarily you know the level and it was just kind of born out
ignorance. For the most part. You know people made a lot of Mormon.
Mormon Underwear, jokes, but I will
by the end of that campaign I think more
I have for a lot of those reporters and reporters and they came to respect it more, that one
I thought it was interesting story about pence. Sorry bout pens in that I a lot of
full who were conservative Christians and had a certain impression of MIKE Pence when the trump stuff
red happening. It surprised a lot of people it was, it seems like it was against what he stood for
Belief system was you sort of explain
that, in here with his at the idea of servant, leadership that he really has kind of carried with
his entire life. Can you talk about that? A little bit, yeah
This is as a biblical concept. This is described to me by Mark Short, who is a serves as the White House director of legislative affairs, but has known MIKE Pence for a long time
what he told me was that this idea of servant leader,
it is. You know it's from the gospels. We did basically modelled us Jesus who you know if it you've lost his disciples feet and preach that you had to be humbled, that before you could be great and and as early as pence's, first first term as a congressman, he was instructing his his staffers to have
a servants attitude when they dealt with constituents that you know hit. His attitude, was weird the servants and we're serving them and
we should be humble and tried, you know, try to help them
as well as we can, but
and that attitude is kind of extended throughout his career when he became part of
GOP leadership in the house. He saw it as his job to be a servant
to his fellow Republican.
Congressmen and congresswomen, and then when he decided to take
job as running mate. As Donald Trump's running mate, he believed his job was to be number
two two Donald Trump to serve Donald Trump. Now, though, a lot of people point to some of the some of the stuff that pence does or
Is in defense of Trump's, you know: how can I, how can a good Christian,
man possibly go out there and spend like this.
For Donald Trump, but he doesn't see that as something that's out of step with, with his view,
of faith in Christianity. He thinks that he's meant to be a servant. He's under
Trump's authority- and that is
so does that? Does that mean in his view that I mean
we're all servants. Yes, but when there's on righteous leadership I mean you know you go back to the right. The Germans is there a line, I'm not suggesting that that would be the line that you could ever approach. But is there a is there a line? Do you think he has a a moral line with him? Were you know for
instance. If I mean the word is, is that Trump is now starting to deny that that access Hollywood tape was even him? I mean
I can't imagine coming home to my wife and my wife. You know
what she did say when that came out, and I would
handed him afterwards. She would have a hard time stomaching it as I would, but then, if
added to deny. I know my wife would go really really health well much farther you gonna go right right, I mean like that is the question right, and this is this. Is why a lot of the people
with known pants for a long time and who frankly, have admired him for a long time on both sides of the aisle are kind of
alarmed by how far pence has been will
to go because they say look I get that you.
We have a job here. I get that, to a certain extent you're going to have to spin an apology
as far in justify the president's actions, but there must be some
I know you won't cross, or else you know you can justify anything like that, but they this is where I think it gets into the broader question of you know the the
best of the conservative christian community in this country right. I quoted
error excited a statistic from the public religion, research institute that found that in two
one thousand and eleven only thirty percent
white evangelicals agreed with this statement that a public affair,
still could commit an act of immorality in his private life, but continue to
ethically in his public life. So only thirty percent of white evangelicals believe that, basically they were saying character counts today. Matters right,
just for the record, I'm still saying that yeah well and there are
so many who say that, but by twenty one thousand six hundred and seventy two
kind of white evangelicals believe that so so now
Majority of white evangelicals are saying, look that you know somebody can be about
person in their private life, but still be a good public servant, a good public official. Now you can debate that, but that is a
the change in evangelical and, frankly, political ethics in a lot among a lot of conservative people of faith,
reading the piece Mckay. I I really I I want to kind of liking MIKE Pence, more and understanding, and I think a lot more. You know which is interesting that we did not have time to get to the most damning thing in the store in the article which is when faced with
uh at at his college. With it come and they say, hey, you guys have kegs,
He sells out the fraternity and shows them where the cakes are. Is this accurate? This comes from one of his frat brothers who, by the way, was still like MIKE that wasn't like a vendetta yeah. You said that, but it but it did Dean showed up and and to lead him straight to the gigs and said the and and yeah kind of sold sold as scrap.
I don't think I'll ever forgive him for that part of it, but other than that it was really interesting. Read it it's uh, it's God's plan for MIKE Pence from the Atlantic and it's from Mckay Coppins Mckay. Thank you so much
keep up the good work. God bless thanks, Glenn
you Mckay coppins on Twitter, at Mckay Coppins, an we will tweet out the article at Glenn Beck and at world of Stu from the Atlantic.
Just really interesting when it comes down to the, for instance, Jerusalem,
Why do you think Donald
trump is doing this. It's interesting, 'cause timing, wise,
yeah. After reading that story about pence from Mckay, you get the sense that the
Something is exactly why MIKE Pence is there, it is
type of thing that he says you know what
Sometimes I'm going to have to go on tv and I'm going to have to say things. I don't believe so, I'm going to have to defend things that I don't find defensible, but in the end,
what am I doing my doing the right thing to get Neil Gorsuch out. Do we get Jerusalem as the capital of Israel out of it?
get the embassy moved. What else can we actually pull up? Maybe we get some tax breaks in and make this
you know the tax system a little bit more sensible or whatever he believes. I don't think. I don't think that MIKE Pence, I could be wrong. I don't think MIKE Pence is in it for the tax breaks yeah. I think it's more. I think it is for the Supreme Court for Jerusalem.
And n big big impasse.
Eternally important things
which is weird because it's the
it's a double edge, sword your
you're allowing certain kinds of behaviors to be mainstreamed,
because you're
we're wanting to get these big Eternel Principle kind of things, but yet
same time: you're destroying other eternal principles. So it's really strange.
Interesting because it's a we saw that
in in the audience throughout the election and that there were some people who really love Trump from the very beginning, and there are some people who always hated Trump and can never get on board with Trump. But there is a big chunk in.
Who I think, are very similar to the way MIKE Pence is described in the story which were look
I don't think I can. I don't like Trump, but he's not my guy. However, you know,
His art is a chance to get something done and it's better than the alternative, and you know there. We might only get three or four things out of this, but there are important things if there is ever a we, as we said at the time, that's a respect that it's a respectable view point if they move the embassy from TEL Aviv to Jerusalem. If they actually move it, I
I think this is one of the big
things to happen in my lifetime I mean, I think,
Is a gigantic tectonic plate shift?
yeah and if there as he is, we talked about there's a lot to do there, but this was, I believe, if it was
promise number one. It was in the top four promises that TED Cruz made
he launches! Yes,
we're at the time we talked about it. It's like that's kind of I mean it's, not a sexy
policy it's not
It he believed it really believed it was really important to him, and he was one of very few candidates that would
but I would have absolutely not thought that Donald Trump would would do this, nothing and admittedly, if he does it, that's going to be I'm going to be very impressed by that, but even take trump out of it
There are seven there. Sixteen other candidates,
to maybe I would believe how would have actually follow through with this maybe ricksantorum maybe said, Torre, Rick, Santorum and and cruise a thinker. You know I don't know of anybody who would have had to the I mean this takes enormous stones to do it. It has to be something that is really on top of your priority list. Right, you're, gonna, look it's it's a,
I capital you're expending expending on something like this in two. I think a lot of Americans. We, we talked about that that that the timing callers made the same point I mean like catchers ones, the capitol this real cares, the tubes, but it is they're huge. It is actually
huge. It is in a relationship internationally gigantic. It's a big step. I will tell you this, I mean as a person of faith,
It is a very big move spiritually for us.
The country forget about Israel for America to take the stand and say
nope. This is
This is Israel where their allies- and this is their capital and we will stand alone. If we have to to recognize it, I think will bless us it could give. You know
It may not look like a blessing at first, but I think it will bless us and and possibly give us more time.
To work things out,
all right matter who you're shopping for this season here is one of the best gifts you could,
Possibly ever give- and it's for me right now- right, sherry spread,
the size of these things they're, like Apple, rallies, berries,
This is only the
asked through genetic engineering
these are. Gigantic strawberries
and take one's doing. Ok, I guess I got the whole box just take one, but I mean I need to make. I know so come on, take one
yeah taco shells are my favorite. Chocolate chips are the best they have nuts, they have white chocolate and they have dark chocolate chips. Ok, bye,
and show the to the camera show that I always forget to turn into a mess after. I know me too,
okay covered. I'm using your article is a napkin
them out of the freezer,
which is a little harder to eat than normal button. Oh my god!
well I'll. Show you learned right here. Look at the inside, oh ma'am, anytime, bright red. You get somebody that sends fruit
it's dipped in chocolate, it's always unripe which is
get away with it, they're dipping in chocolate, so it's builder hiding it. The opposite is true. I swear you. I'd pay, Shari's, berries,
do this. Commercial are really suckers for paying us. I know that guy gotta do anyway. These are big huge juicy.
Ripe strawberries, so this is not. This is not
I mean: do you know why we have in the amusement parks and theme parks? You know we eat those. You know turkey legs, no, ok. We eat them because people have turkey sandwiches
time, so you have the slice press. Will they didn't have anything to do with the turkey legs?
and so it was a marketing guy who said we have.
Figure out a way to market these turkey.
'cause there's so many of 'em, because everybody is eating the breast meat. What do we do with the rest?
and so they made them into medieval times all these things
just to sell those turkey legs. Ok,
that's usually what happens when fruit is covered in chocolate, 'cause they're, just like

Time magazine has just announced their person of the year
person of the year silence Breakers
yeah. I know it's a new boys band, the silence I did Sila,
breakers are the men and women who have finally come forward to talk about the sexual misconduct or assault they experienced at the hands
the powerful people now
I agree that this is probably the biggest thing that has happened this year. This is going to this really makes an impact, but it's not a purse
then uh, it's beep.
All of the year, that's an event of the year. That's a movement of the year. It's not a person,
of the year, but that's a
dude. I've been having with time for quite some time and they don't seem to care speaking up about,
sold at the hands of Harvey Weinstein and others like him time claims these victims have been humbled and humanized and they've been I'm building. Humanized Hollywood. They right.
Movie stars are supposedly nothing like you and me: there's felt glamorous self possessed they wear dresses. We can
fourteen live in houses. We can only dream of, and yet it turns
did that in the most painful and personal ways, movie stars or more like you and me, then will ever know. No, I don't
This is a bit more, but a think this is personalize them they made
No, I did know I not.
Stories happen where I thought you know what they're, just like me
That's because you're, a white guy, the yeah and I
relate to all of the White guy perpetrators. This is not
this is not who we are, I think it's I think it's an F
demic proportions. Wherever there is real power
There is real power. In Hollywood, there is real power in DC. There is real power in the financial sectors we're
getting started here
is a fitting homage, bye, bye time, given the past three months of nonstop allegations, but I have
problem with it Juanita broad
can Paula Jones. Aren't
mentioned by name in Times article
so does this mean you're only a silence breaker, if you claim
sexual assault in the past three months. Aren't these.
Silence breakers one
Peter Broderick weren't they the pioneers that did.
Hard thing and took it in the in the face and took the lashes to set,
stage for these silence breakers. Apparently, not
women have been speaking out for years against powerful people and those who abused them. It's
only now that we're actually listening to them and not saying what look at the way she was dressed.
There are many lessons to be learned from the silence breakers you're, not alone,
even movie stars experience. Ugly parts of life don't be afraid
speak out. If
experience, assault of any kind. There's no shame in going to the police immediately. It's the most powerful thing that you can do
and, as we've seen recently the quarter
opinion is a very dangerous place and
cation doesn't immediately make you guilty from either
direction. So
continue to hold up due process and ensure that justice grows and prevails for everyone, Wednesday December Sixth, you're, listening to the Glenn Beck program, good friend of the program daily wire host and- and I think one of the most important man in the conservative movement today
is Ben Shapiro. He joins us now he in New York. Then
actually, no I'm in LA okay, so early but yeah. Well, sorry about that is so not all bad. I wanted to talk to a little bit about what the president is claiming he's going to do today, and that is the announce that jurors
is the capital of Israel if he
as that, but he's not announcing. You know that there is a new embassy that is we're going to ground break on. Does it matter an why
but it does matter. It would matter more if you move the embassy. The reason that it would matter more is because it's a permanent statement, so him saying the truth.
Is eternal, undivided capital of Israel that stuff that presidential candidates have said before they
itself voted. Ninety, nothing
in June that that was the case. So a political state
The president is important, but it's always revocable. You could have a new president come in
say well, you know we don't necessarily believe what Trump believed and maybe it's up for negotiation. I kind of believe actually move. The embassy is more permanent yeah. I think it's it's it's. You know Obama's bear ears, monument the next guy comes in and it's whatever he wants. Yeah. I think that's right,
think that it. What I'm hearing from the White House is that the White House is
serious about moving embassies, there investigating sites right now, but they're going to have to get it done before the next election, obviously because he can't expect a Democrat to actually fulfill promises that Democrats have been making for fifty years. So it's a big move. It's a bigger,
Smith and good for Trump for doing it, but I would definitely like to see it made more permanent. On the other hand, listen the president. The United States is saying something that
moral courage to say in a time when people refused to recognize both religious and historic.
Reality on the ground, and that is
a grand and good thing. It's a it's definitely a jester. I think that's meaningful, so Ben. I know that you're, a religious guy and those who bless Israel will be blast, and you know those who curse. Israel will be cursed. I I happen to believe that I'd
If that we we were a country that was founded
in part by our desire to restore Israel and to bring
Israel back. I think we played a key role to that and I've talked to
scholars of the founders who disagreed with me at first and then went back after a years worth of research and went oh crap. I think you're right
I think we were blessed because of that path. I think will be blessed because of this '
do you do you
get that way at all yeah,
super Sentai mean number religious Jews. So this means a lot to me is due because
is the eternal capital of the jewish people. I was explaining that this morning on Fox that
when they don't understand.
The value of Jerusalem to Israel. You have to take Washington DC and then invested with godly power and multiplied by one thousand. Washington DC was literally a place that we built on a swamp, because we did
I want to be part of any state. Jerusalem was built on a rock because God said so right
that we breathe in Christians care about it. It's the reason Muslims care about it and it's the reason Jews cared about one thousand years before Christ. So the idea that you know it's not being
capital is absurd. As far as you know whether this is-
it could be a blessing. I think it'll be a blessing because one of the things politically, just in very practical terms that I think is
if you actually want it. Real peace negotiation between these
releasing the Arabs that has to be premised on some elements of truth. Israel is not good
get up Jerusalem, Israel is not going to divide Jerusalem and, as soon as the
side- recognizes that as soon as the Arabs recognize that maybe they can actually have a negotiation based on real
beyond that. One of the things that we're watching the Middle EAST is something incredible right now, which is this unintended consequences: Obama
believe Aebli crappy foreign policy, which is there is this new alliance and pretty strongly
in Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, against the Iranians and for Trump to basically say: listen, I'm just going to get this Jerusalem thing off.
Table right now with the Israelis and you're still
I have the lions, because it's more important for you to ally against IRAN, then smack the Jews about that's a ground.
To the nature of the relationship, and I think something very important. So what do
I think, is the. What do you think of the ramifications of this? What do you see any real ramifications now? I think that the
unions will try to watch Carol, but that's also true in most days, then, why I
thing that you'll, some regimes, like Saudi Arabia and Jordan Mcnall platitudes about how they oppose this. I don't think they're actually going do anything
without any real consequence. Turkey might try to you, know
in some more supplies too.
In palestinian authority which have been operating in a quasi unity government. For several years, but again, this is not the first wave of
but it is real.
With regard to Jerusalem in their own entire piece over at daily wire tracing the history of violence. With regard to Jerusalem, the reason that
the muslim world, doesn't wanna recognize Jerusalem, as Israel's capital is because they don't want to recognize Israel as existing in Jerusalem in the heart of Israel, a
It's Jerusalem is not jewish, then neither is TEL Aviv. Neither is neither is Yafa. Neither is
the other jewish city in Israel, so
the eight and the recognition of the Jerusalem that that tear status israeli territory. That may be an ugly truth for a lot of them for a lot of anti semitic. My
one is, but it is also true that is not going to change. So, as I was trying to look at this the today and put this into perspective, you know as a lover of history. I look at this and I say in my lifetime born in nineteen sixty five
or there are very few things that I would say, had
real ramifications. It ternal ramifications big ramifications like the fall of the Berlin Wall. They defeat of communism,
eve. This is one of the biggest events if they move the capital. I believe this is one of the biggest events.
Lifetime? Would you agree
certainly could be yeah. It certainly could be I mean if they. If they move the embassy to Jerusalem, then it does set an
ground work and it makes it difficult for the United States ever to back off of that it put israeli
actually there are they basically Bill Clinton since, since Oslo, too many presidents have have held the state of Israel's future,
in their hands, as opposed to letting the Israelis hold their own future in their hands. We really shouldn't be part of these negotiations. In the first place I mean these are bilateral negotiations. United States has very little to do it. It's important thing, it's an important moral step, because
because the more that we recognize, that number
we don't get to boss. Are.
As round and two, the more that we,
united Israel to force for good for the region, and we understand our own role in the world. Our role in the world is a freedom loving
country that helps out freedom, loving allies, it's not, as quote unquote, honest broker between freedom, more than countries and terrorism and tyranny. Loving countries I think that's going to set
on policy on a new tack that had been desperately needed for a long time. So can I be really crass here and now? Look at this politically,
You know the timing is really interesting to me.
And you know out of all of the people on the stage you out of the seventeen candidates. I just did not think he
going to be the kind that would actually come through with this 'cause. This takes me
If stones to do
and you also have to really believe it- and I don't think I mean, while he has
You know some jewish
influencing his family. Now I don't think that's enough to do something like this
Usually it comes from a a religious zeal for that. This is right and righteous. So let me
slow, this by Ben and see what see what you think I think
I think the president is in much more trouble than he
wants to let on or anybody on the right ones to let on maybe not as much trouble as the left seems to hope for, but he's in,
trouble.
And this gives him you only
You can only pick the bones of the gorsuch nomination for so long
this again
puts him into a situation with a lot of groups
especially evangelical Christians, where,
you kind of put up with a lot of stuff
uh an kind of defend because you're like it looked weak. That has happened. I mean I don't know who else
the given as that and
It seems to me that it could be uh
Ical maneuver to shore up,
uh some real fight to the
the battle supporters. My being definitely
Well, you know I mean I I don't want to cycle analyze the president, because I think that's a a fool there, but I also think that the
timing of it is interesting. This is the truth, is I've never seen
Anything like the last two weeks have been so good,
conservatives on policy. I mean everything from the tax cuts to the national parks stuff to Jerusalem.
Is really like hardcore good stuff for conservatives and the same time, the Red Rep is coming out of the ministration. Things like Roy Moore are really a problem, and I do agree with
I think that there there may be a political come to try to stop, but I will say that everyone that I know who's around the press and I've gotten to know some member of the administration relatively well. Everyone who's around the president does believe this stop in Jerusalem.
Shut down to their bones, are not talking about Jerrod avant I'm talking about vice President Pence boy did the people who are very close to the White House. This is stuff that they, like one of the things that you're right of the people on this stage. Who could pledge to do this Trump was the person who I didn't trust the most.
But it does show for all people keep saying that on the last that
party is in a quasi answer,
I reckon in all of this nonsense. The fact is that I think that Trump was not the only
in this case we actually would have done it. I mean the fact that he's done. He gets the credit. Obviously, but I think TED Cruz would have done it. I think it's going
Marco Rubio would have done it
there are a bunch of candidates on the stage you have. This has become a very strong issue for Republicans, so in that sense I think you're right. It's one way of shoring up the base, but
not going to distract me president for doing the moral thing just because it is politically advantageous. I want to try, I don't wanna dress. I'm fact I want to do the the opposite. I think if he does that yeah, if he does this and he moves the the embassy it's
The bravest moves I've seen. Probably since Ronald Reagan said that's an evil empire and needs to be destroyed. I think that's right.
That's exactly right and I think it's very similar in the way the left has responded,
international promotion. Oh this is going to be so terrible. It's going to.
It's a world war. Three is going to be a conflagration. You know it's really going to happen. Countries have interests in the world, Saudi Arabia does
I don't care that much about Jerusalem. You know, I know that, because last week the New York Times reported that Saudi Arabia
It's actually going to the Palestinian and telling them you guys need to back off this Jerusalem thing and just cut a deal with Israel and be done here by Saudi
has no interest in this. The jordanian
it has no interest in this. So the idea that they're all going to suddenly-
end up on their hind leg, because they're so mad that Trump says that druce
He is part of Israel, which it always has been always will be. You know that I think that that's that's a lot of leftist claptrap.
Ben Shapiro. Thank you very much. God bless

two thousand and seventeen wow
good anything else of in twenty seventeen I mean look at the history
I'm gonna do? Is it next week or a week after we're gonna be doing some shows on just the year in review? All my gosh, I I'm dumb hesitant because at the end of twenty sixteen I was like. Oh let's get this year over with it to something else, and then twenty seventeen is happening. I'm thinking the same thing that maybe I shouldn't I know how hard it can be. Careful what you wish for so are you prepared, for you know another repeat of of this year, or perhaps worse I mean look at the look of the disasters that happened in the United States. I want you
it started with your food supply. By going to my patriot, supply you'll get one hundred and two servings of food kit. That's only ninety. Nine dollars will be shipped.
Free right to your home? It's really good
food, it will last forever. These guys went into business because a good friend of mine met red HAWK, he's just a really deep
guy in good businessman. He was a prepper
and he was doing it for himself and he kept getting ripped off and he get the food and it was awful or it was hard to store, or you know, you'd end up with a bucket of wheat and he'd be like what are you doing to do with wheat, and
and everything was really expensive and he's like there's no need for this, and so he started my patriot supply just out of frustration of being ripped off.
This is really really good. Food has good nutritional value last for twenty five years and it's in
pensive, one hundred and two servings for ninety nine dollars grab
all of these now go to prepare
or with Glenn dot com. That's prepare with Glenn dot com or
call eight hundred two one hundred and seventy one. Sixty three thousand eight hundred two hundred seven thousand one hundred and sixty three prepare with Glenn dot com.

there's so many things going on in the world, and you know I'm doing a lot of I'm doing a ton of reading right now. I want to share my book list with you before Christmas. If you know anybody
being a lot of novels, but I'm also reading a lot of science stuff in history, and I want to share some of those titles with you. 'cause there's some really good,
the red recently.
But as I'm I'm looking into science uh, I am
I am more optimistic about the future
Anne. What is on the near horizon and when I say near horizon next fifteen to eighteen years and
game, changing stuff, the the the
the medical advances
we're going to make by two thousand and thirty.
Ray Kerswell was right. He told me this about two thousand and three Glen. Just
a healthy until two thousand and thirty
and Medison, we'll take it from there
and so you heard him say that and then completely ignored it completely ignored it. I thought it was easier to stay healthy so but
I think he's right. I think he's right
The stuff that I am reading about. Medicine is
markable and end in little things like you know the apple watch or the step. You know counters the fitbits
what is the next generation of that? Is
remarkable
you tie it together with some things, the maps that are coming out where you can take a picture of so you go to a bar.
Serves you drink. You take a picture of it. It doesn't
chemical analysis of the drink and tells
what's in it, if there's any,
rug in it or anything else, but you can do that with food. You know everybody is taking pictures of their plates of food. You do that it will do a chemical breakdown. It'll tell you,
actually how many carbs exactly how many calories, when you tie
that with your fitbit you will that will start to get
How much information about you that
I actually start to tell you like, for instance, somebody you TIM Ferriss decides to eat a donut he'll. Take a picture of that doughnut
and it will not only tell him everything- that's in it, but it'll tell him how it will affect his body and
give him time, so it will say eating that donut will remove
three hours from your life? Okay, him. It will probably say you know me, no,
It won't remove anytime from your life, but it will take extra, so burn this off with
maybe like me, it will say you know,
five hundred years off your life. If you eat that donut because now they're starting to adapt it to your body and if you're working out,
for now getting so precise that if you
are working out, the first twenty five minutes of jogging actually add.
Five hours to your life.
Every minute after twenty five minutes is one is one to one. So I spent thirty minutes jogging after the first twenty five. I get thirty minutes added to my life.
But the first twenty five very important. That's going to change everything Glenn back.
You're listening to the Glenn Beck program,
president, ceo of First Liberty Institute, Kelly Shackelford Guy, who is uh, is watching and fighting some of the biggest battles for religious freedom in the country was actually
the Supreme Court yesterday and
heard the arguments on both sides with the Supreme Court on the
Heading case, the wedding cake case, Kelly
It will give us a real quick recap of the case in case you don't know it out of Colorado and then tell us what happened. Welcome to the program Kelly,
happy to be on Glen, so real, quick recap of the case for anybody who doesn't know what it is
It's been a number of these people, probably heard of wet weather, Forrester Baker or whatever we even have a case out of Oregon, and a lot of people heard about with two bakers is:
Melissa Klein, who were actually because they came in somebody who they seldom baked goods, but then they said we want you to do our wedding cake. It was two women in that case, and they said we can't do that because of our religious belief.
But we're happy to sell you anything
plus we're happy to send you just a few doors down.
I will do that
I they knew they were being prosecuted by the state of Oregon Dave been fined, one hundred and twenty five thousand dollars their business has been
corrupted and their they were ordered by the judge not to speak publicly their beliefs on this issue because it
a further violation that case is still going. So that's how we got involved in in being very concerned about this case that was argued yesterday, which is a Jack Phillips, a a baker from
Denver, who very similar situation. Two men came in said we'd like you to do a custom cake for us just like our client and
look I'll, sell you anything off the shelf. Anything I've got, but I can't customly, you know, make a cake, because I'm expressing something- and I have a faith belief
what marriage is, what God says? It's a sacred union, and so you don't said be happy,
to refer him or to sell him anything. He had now Kelly. It's important to point out here that this guy has done this before not just homosexuals. It's not the deal, he said,
most anybody an anything, but he says you know when I have to actually do something
distance Halloween. I won't make any Halloween stuff, because I don't
it's a front to God and so
It's not a gay thing with him. No
it's he. He sells the guy. Look like everyone of these cases. I've ever heard of the the the the people sell to
LGBT without question it's just when they are asked to participate in a ceremony. That obviously, is a sacred ceremony tomorrow:
people are, they say, well wait. I can't express something because you're asking me to sort of express something that I can
express 'cause. I don't agree with that and that's where the
it's a road here and so in this case with Jack.
They they? Basically the state of Colorado uh? You said that you're either going to have to stop doing wedding, cakes or
You know,
or you're going to have to make any of gay wedding cakes for people who ask you to make those and he decided
deal while this is going on. He was also ordered by the way to train his people in the proper thinking which include his own family members,
no. How would that came up in the oral argument yesterday too? So it's really. This whole thing is real.
Creepy to anybody who gets freedom
the idea of the government forcing citizens to express' things that they not only don't
free with what that violate their beliefs. It's really sort of the ultimate of an attack on free
and so so yesterday. Yesterday, yesterday you were sitting in the in the courtroom and somebody from think progress.
Tweeted out after the arguments for the the
who were going after the baker,
Thinkprogress tweeted out this was horrible.
They really dropped the ball. It does not look good for our side. That was it according to think. Progress,
you, get that impression yesterday,
yeah I mean I went in Glen thinking that there is probably a ten percent chance that our side would win, because Justice Kennedy is the swing vote and he's been
you pretty consistent on all the LGBT cases he's written all the gay marriage decision, the the v tech.
Decision we can go down the line,
and uh. So everybody looked at him. Knowing he's probably going to be the swing vote. Who decides the case and well yesterday he started out singing to be a little hostile.
He said to the solicitor General United States essentially said. Look if, if we were to give you a victory here and then
result of this, is you know, PETE Baker's or encourage all over the country? Not to
a wedding, cakes to gay people? Would you be happy with that, like what you create
in this country. It was really kind of a disdainful kind of question and I thought, oh boy, that's not a good start, but then things
to turn when the other side, when the ACLU and the other side, the state of Colorado got up and started arguing for this, because there
as evidence in the record like one of the commissioners,
do you made this decision? Had some really religiously bigoted anti religious
Comments in in his statements and justice
clearly angry about that
A number of questions were asked about inferences, not only that, but some somebody went to some.
And said hey, I want you to do a cake in the shape of a bible that says that you know homosexuality is wrong and they wouldn't do it, and so he filed with the same commission and the commission.
Add that no big the baker's didn't have to do it in that case. So
oh wow yeah
so I mean you've got just clear. You viewpoint, discrimination. They try to explain it, but it's really a lame excuse, and so you put those together and you. What you have here is a state commission. That's clearly
more directly, bigoted hostile against people of faith who hold a different belief than they do on this issue, and
this Kennedy in a number of other justices, really honed in on that, and that's what I think probably made think progress a little concerned, because
Kennedy is a swing vote and he was obviously he went just perturb. He asked them
that have they were announced, this statement and the
he had to say. No, it hasn't been formally renounced, he said. Well, are you right?
sing it now I mean he was really pressing the attorney
for the state that had engaged in that type of
religious discrimination in their speech before they punished, Jack and and his work.
What are the Kelly Shackelford about the the case. It's been a seemingly in the news for a long time, master the many okay, this one's masterpiece cake the
one of the most amazing moment I thought from the
MS yesterday was with justice. The my or the
commentary was in. This is be a great events, a fence to the first amendment and to compel a person that believes that marriage is sacred to give voice to a different view of marriage and require them to celebrate that marriage.
This sort of my oars answer. That was then, don't
participated weddings,
that's that's an incredible moment. I mean that is seemingly their answer that, instead of just
medically someone to come and get a cake and if they decided they couldn't get it from that Baker to just go to another baker. To
they compel every person who's in the situation to just pull out of all weddings, no matter Wat,
is this really their viewpoint of how this works so yeah? This is dead.
Only their viewpoint, and they don't even care that it's speech. They think that the speech
issues here are small compared to the what they feel are the equality issues that are more important, so the first amendment essentially
in their worldview and and what they're trying to get the court to do and and justice on. My were clearly holds that opinion as well. I mean she filibustered a lot of the time in
yesterday three year when the Baker's lawyer was
arguing so it it was. It's pretty it's a striking. You see these two
things, accommodation laws that were they go way back to when we had people
who were black, who people would not allow them to have a hotel room or or eating
Stron and that's why these laws were created to stop not serve
people and not allowing them in your establishment because of their race and
it's being used in a way that I don't think anybody really ever had any.
Idea that it would be used is being used to try to force people to affirmatively engage in you know expression that they disagree with and that's just a bridge too far. I think most people realize, when you get to that point.
Wait a second now we're having the government do something that I don't think any.
Never thought the government would be able to do, which is compel citizens to speak, something against their conscience and their belief
in their face. It does seem, like you have more credible Kelly, does seem like the the there were two arguments being made. One was these people should have the I, because of their religious freedom should be able to do what they want based on their religion, and the other was their artists
They should be able they should be forced to create art that they don't want to participate in.
It seemed like Kennedy was less positive on the art argument,
and more connected with the religious argument. Is that fair to say yeah, I think you know the problem
the argument about it being Gil art and therefore free speech and protected. Is they they?
know where to draw that line. What is art and what is an art right, so is the the the one of the jokes made by. I think it was justice. Kagan was what about
hair stylist in that artist,
And what about? What about a crucifix in a jar of urine? Is that art I mean I, you know, I think we've been down this road yeah and
they didn't like the fact that it was going to be so wide open that they were scared, that it would allow for all kinds of people to exempt out of these laws when it came to baking a wedding.
A car or any other thing connected with the wedding being the show fur etc, and so that was
a concern on the one side, and so I think what Kennedy hone in on and what not only Kennedy but Gorsuch and Roberts and a number of other the justices was the fact of the intentional that the the very
fix. Statement by the commissioner now back to couple of commissioners had statements
clearly showed they really had little respect for people's religious beliefs and in fact there was clear bias in in their decision against Jack. Phillips in this case
so that is a pretty narrow ruling. If they rule that way, they would say. Look. This is religious bigotry. This was religious.
Deal. We don't have government, you know, discriminate against people because of their personal dislike for people's religious beliefs and they could simply overturn it on that and they really sort of wouldn't solve the issue for
cases yeah, and then they would avoid a lot of these very tough issues that are sort of
battled over yesterday, but they were being done so with a quart. That's very fractured. We kind of four conservatives, four liberals and one who's kind of jumping back and forth at this point and that obviously might change in the future.
If the president has a few more appointments. That also I mean it would be a
Ethan ruling. I mean it would still leave it murky, but it would be a decent ruling for anybody,
like this guy who's? Really, truly on the record of this,
What my belief is- and I mean I don't- do- Halloween stuff-
You know- and so it's it's quite clear, you know in it
you know it's hard to judge how sincere people are on their religion,
However, it would be a step in the right direction that somebody who has a clear record of their faith, Lee Malone, wouldn't it
yeah, and I'm going to tell you that the really the big sort of dividing point between the two sides, as you
what a listen to the argument is one side which,
constantly that Jack Phillips denied these people this. This wedding cake service, because of who they were because they were were gay and
side would say: no it wasn't because of who they were. It was because of the message that he was being told to send and the other side couldn't sort of separate that,
that, essentially, if you don't agree with same sex, marriage '
you're really discriminate against them because
who they are and again
Jack would say. No, I would sell to anybody. It's just the message that you're asking me to create that I can't create and that's the difference that
Both sides were talking and nobody was convincing the other side, but if everybody has a different belief, is all of a sudden discriminating. Then you know
if there's no right degree yeah? This is
the government is now able to actually forcibly compel
in this case again, one of the other disturbing things that justice Gorsuch asked about. He said I'm mean
learn about your punishment, which is forcing jack to train his.
Or he's including its family members, and it believe he didn't agree with that's creepy on its own level.
And he asked the government about that and that's where this sort of conflict goes.
Right. If you don't have the right belief, they want to force you in line and we're supposed to have the right to disagree,
Ellery Street tolerance goes both ways Kelly last question, for you, I think maybe the most important part of this was just as gorgeous she's gorsuch stand against wedding, cakes generally, he said I.
I've yet to have a wedding cake that I would say, tastes great. Do you agree with that analysis? 'cause? I think I should.
Yeah. He was didn't even making the point that most of the wedding cakes are are the reason they're so expensive is not.
Okay, great, if not yeah, hey, it's true. Three Delhi, I've! I've! I've just got about ten seconds left when when are we expecting any kind of decision on this one?
normally, we would expect a quicker, but most people are are getting, because this is so controversial. They typically will wait till the very end of their term, which would be June twenty seventh to release. Okay thanks a lot appreciate. It. God bless you Kelly, Shackelford. Com, Glenn, Beck
glad back
welcome to the program a lot a lot yet to discuss. We have TIM Ballard in in just a minute he's going to give us an update on on,
Nazarene fund and some of the missions that we are starting and some of the
we're doing right now: saving people in the Middle east- it's a remarkable story, stick around for that, and
what you can do with plantar check, urgent news.
Love courage, truth Glenn Beck every night during the twenty fourteen winter Olympics in Russian, so she doctor are waited for
live of the list? The list contained the name of russian athletes so elite and on the
top of their sport that they had to cheat
by taking steroids and just after midnight a secret
a signal told doctor. Are: it was time to go to room one hundred and twenty four secret room
built by the Russians attached to room one hundred and twenty five, the gold room
not where the olympic gold medals were stored. This was a liquid gold,
storage room. This was the Olympics urine sample lab, so once
doctor r was in place. Another russian official in the gold room past urine samples through a secret hole in the wall. He obviously had to be good aim, but
once he calibrated steady stream of urine
I mean this is sample mind you flowed through the wall into the other room to doctor. Are then
because these were special Swiss engineered, urine sample bottles. Dr are pass them to a russian FSB officer who it will whiskey that
most said: wiz them with them to a secret building nearby, where the tamper proof bottle caps were completely tampered with
few hours later the bottles were returned to doctor are with the caps magically loosened now
after our got to work in empty the bottles he clean them, replace them with non steroid urine.
Bottles were slip back through the hole in the wall room. Twenty five I mean this is crazy. Vladimir Putin was
behind this I mean they were cool. With this it was awake
to have his cake and eat it too, hosting the Olympics and winning thirty three medals.
Third of which were one by russian athletes who were part of this elaborate doping
program where you're peeing through the wall
all fun and games until the whistle blower show up, one of whom was doctor. Are he blew the tamper proof, lid off of Russia's doping scheme and yesterday
first time in its history, the international
but committee banned Russia from participating in the twenty eighteen games in South Korea
Putin says what a surprise you s, conspiracy in retaliation, for alleged russian interference in our.
Action yeah? I
I don't think America cares much about the Winter Olympics VLAD. I just don't
If I were in the Olympic Committee, I would look
joining the Witness protection program. However, like DR are already has he
is currently living in an undisclosed location here
or in the USA.
If you have to go into a witness protection program because you
help to Vladimir Putin's people pee through a wall. What won't this guy
you for
it's Wednesday December sixth you're listening to the Glenn Beck program,
TIM's world is a little upside down, which is that it is yeah. You peed through any walls lately not lately, but lately TIM Ballard is the founder and ceo of Operation underground railroad. He serves his uh. Oh you rs Jump team commander for rescue operations. He has spent over a decade working as a special agent for the Department of Homeland Security. He was assigned to the internet crimes against children, task force, deployed undercover
work for the. U child sex tourism jump team
He has dedicated his life now to saving children and saving slaves all around the world we have. Also,
just named him. The chairman of the Nazarene Fund
and so now his team at our team are working together to not only finish what we started in Syria and Iraq. Where he's got some amazing news for us
But also to expand now into Africa, north
in Africa in particular, so we're going to take this on globally welcomed him. Thank you great to be here. Yeah. So tell me what
tell me what this means for the Nazarene fund wasn't as Arene Fund, where we, where we going
I think you said it's it's global now with it was still an emphasis on the
basin, with an emphasis on the christian communities there that
continuously being persecuted
in different ways. It it doesn't matter. If you know for exam
we know that the
different amazing job, moving thousands of people and families out.
ISIS, is rolling in
but not all of 'em got out, and even though I should have been has been pushed
out of many of those regions. They took some of those people with them. Thousands of people, children are stuck with them
we just rescued a three year old girl who was used as a sex slave, that's right, two weeks ago,
rescue to three year old girl, who's used as a sex slave, and she was a toy,
'cause, she was a Christian. That's right, these kids, if there christian they are seen as
as animals as Subhumans and they'll do anything they want to them.
And they are sex later. There's thousands of these kids, these Christian and Yazidi kid
who are stuck and we are going in and getting them out and the
Epson the mothers are there and
many times the
with their moms, have to watch their children, be abused,
their children have to watch mom being abused
it's the most several times in the most horrifying thing we could dream up. So
you know. You say that and then I I'm going to turn the corner into something that is even darker than that. I think. Maybe
maybe not because these people die right away, but the
we were alerted about a year ago at the Nazarene fund, and we were
evidence that there is organ trafficking going on that,
one way for the radicals to make money.
Is to capture Christians.
And harvest
I'm for organs and
We couldn't believe it. We were presented with video tape. That is just horrifying. Your
and our team went verified and the location that this did happen at this location. We
find any of the people. Can you tell
little bit about the organ harvesting thing, it's now happening
It is horrifying. Like you said it's I didn't think things could get
liquor than than sex slavery and I'm not trying
the two, but this is its own kind of
darkness.
These guys need to make money they're trying to make money and they'll exploit and do anything they can, and it is a big market to get organs
particularly know like pediatric hearts are very hard to come by and they have
kids and they say we're going to do it and they're doing it
We can't reveal details, but we have we have guys on the ground right now and
talk about what's going to happen in January, we
We will have a report in January that
working on right now with the intel that we're getting that will
will blow your mind what's going on
we're tapping into things that we didn't. Where we're surprised we knew it existed. We didn't think it was this big,
but this is a very real market, and this is where we are getting in getting the intel working with the authorities. Will you at that time or is, or will you be able to
mention the names of the countries that are involved or do we have to keep that quiet
right now. It has to be quiet by end of January, will make a determination of what we can show, but we're planning on we're planning footage were planning to show your audience footage of what this is and what is really happening.
The reason why we wouldn't tell you what countries are involved is because we would we would.
Be able to go in and infiltrate and shut this down, but you would be shocked at the you'd be shocked. You would be shocked if it turns out to be
it does it look like it's turning, it looks like it's very accurate. Yes,
Any idea how many people are involved in this I mean how many do they just go and buy these kids on the open
it or they just how many. So we we estimate about
six thousand people a lot of kids, that that did not make it out that that ISIS and
or other criminal organizations in the region got a of, and
these are the ones we're looking for, and these are the ones that are currently being
threatened to be sold.
In the organ harvesting market or the sex slavery market, so we're
It's in the thousands of people who are stuck these christian minorities, easy as any minority groups
and so there's a so much
I need to be made there for these dark, dark people so hooked him into one of the things that I've always loved about operation underground railroad. Is that you don't just go get them you you, the after care
or is so important you're, not here, yet
not going to be able to when we were in Mexico, the thing
is that these women told me that they had gone through for a decade a
aid there is no way to heal on your own.
And as I talk to them in one of the safe houses in one of the places that
funds fund. That is, you know
in rehabilitation, doing counseling getting them back into school. It is totally
transforming these people
Are we doing in the Middle EAST on these children that were given as gifts,
two people and after they watch their possibly their mom, but definitely their dad be beheaded for Christ.
The after part in the Middle EAST is just
So you are same thing with Nazarene fight. It is paramount. We have amazing partners. I know you've met a lot of those partners already, I'm it's a different. It's a
different kind of dynamics were after care is not seen as a culturally accepted thing and and and and those regions which is so sad, so a lot of
after has almost secretive so so
There was a saw video from the Nazarene fund where we had just
sure I don't know if you saw this one, we had just captured a woman
and she was out in the middle of nowhere on this road, where we
the transfer to her family's
this one's yes and use.
Other women just grab.
On to her and she just broke down and they were all it, but it was only women really that were there to meet her, and I I thought
What happens in that culture, to these women
who were raped, but I mean: can they can they get back? They can
and it's it. We have to be creative. That's the thing with with that. With that part of the of the restoration we we have a a girl, we're helping right now. She was passed around at least to eighteen different ISIS operators
each of them raped her
fifteen years old she
pregnant.
Got her out, got her back and there was one family member they said well. Take will take you, but not that baby
and so then her family rejected her, because
who pregnant with with an ISIS baby
and so we got creative and found a different solution that we can't reveal
that's what it is! It's about being creative on the ground. We haven't, we our guys in the ground or just unbelievable, they're so connected there.
For nationals. You know they
all the culture. They know that they know.
The whole dynamic there. So we're able to be creative and get these kids
the care they need in
the culture that they live in. These are really brave Christians and one Jew that I know of that, are I mean there,
doing this. So we we we've already lost two people, that's right on our on our jump team over the Middle EAST. They were captured by ISIS and killed by ISIS, trying to rescue going to go back,
back and rescue more. These guys are remarkable
and marked for death. If, if their identities are
these guys I work with them. I talked they're willing to die they're willing to die to liberate. These
persecuted people, and it's just an honor for me to even
stand in the same room and meet with these.
People who, no one will ever know and their faces will never be seen by anybody-
we put a
When we made the announcement that we were partnering with TIM and he was going to be the new ceo, we did so because
He has connections governmental connections all over.
World and we've watched his organization and we
you'll at time is of the essence in the Middle EAST and
so we put a goal together of raising in the next twelve months. Twenty five million dollars,
Twenty five million dollars is a lot of money, but as
scene with the Nazarene fund. It can go all
long long way way.
Is the time look like and what are we up against? Well,
the windows small, I mean we've talked about this things change so fast. You know
Even ISIS is gone, people don't understand now, IRAN is there exactly there's a vacuum, always in someone fills it and when they feel it, the Christian
they're always the target. Doesn't it doesn't matter who's comes in there always the target. They always need us to support.
Yes to rescue, to restore to rebuild
That's what we're here to do, and it's not just the people at the most important part, but the heritage. I mean this is christian history, that's being
is a trying to destroy in the just talking a routine. He said that we were what part of our new goal is as
we're doing all this to document the
all of the you know the relic
and everything else. So we know and have documented footage in coverage of
everything. So we know exactly what it was and where it was in case,
destroyed absolutely, for example,
the prophet in the old testament now home who,
clash has his tomb and ISIS are trying to destroy this brave priest took the bones of this of this
old testament prophet and hid in the desert
these are the things we're working on two to help restore all this. Now that ISIS is gone and they've tried
Straight the christian narrative, acting as though it never happened
well. That's part of this. A lot of these. Some of these people want to go back to their.
Christian communities and we're going to help them those who want to go back to bring the
back into safety and help rebuild. This is an important story. This is restored, touches all of us and we can't let it fall fall off the
this is something that I believe you will absolutely be blessed for. If you,
It's a paid and participating him just being prayer power, prayer coverage boy. These guys need the prayer coverage
the prayers for inspiration on where to go where to turn been with them, where it's like
no we're not supposed to move forward. We have to turn around and go another direction at with just on promptings.
And it is save lives and freed people, but so we can go
there too, you know,
Five dollars a month, Abraham

Glenn Beck
Glenn Beck live just sitting here. We're talking off the air and TIM is going to join me for television today, but we don't have time right now, but you have to tell the story on television.
Or I love talking to you, because
your story, your live a superheroes like you live in action, adventure, life, you know and and the changes that have the updates from you are remarkable,
so anybody who had been following o? U stuff, they did a big, a big sting in Haiti,
and and everybody said, don't
so don't do it they're, corrupt! Well, there's
date on this and it's it's remarkable when you
actually, no
people's history and you
ask them to stand up
you can inspire them with their own history, which you did in
example, and you have to hear it today
it's amazing. What happens yeah I mean
Are you ever just in on like 'cause? I
We believe- and I know you'll laugh at me- they're gonna,
they're gonna they're gonna make a statue of a really well you're. You are, you are eating, so I don't know if you are a member of your of your modern day. Bon Hafer, I don't know what you are, but to
But you are a your true hero, they're, going to make a statue of you someday. Are you ever you ever
back and go look what I'm involved in
it's funny yeah we talk about. What we do is we need when you're in the moment you don't even record, was going on and then, when you sit back and tell the story like
the Lord Dead
it's miracles, miracles and you feel like we don't deserve any of the credit 'cause. The Lord opens these doors and we
say what we say in the boom. Things move alright. So five hundred o'clock today on the blaze tv you're going to see some of these miracles here. Some of these miracles from the Nazarene fund, DOT Org, join us being abolitionist and help us
Rescue, those that are in
Glenn Beck
is the Glenn Beck program. You mean
backing out. I am not backing out of this and not backing out of this.
Under the program. A lot to talk about paths joining us.
What do you? What what having you play today, you want to talk about. I probably
Jerusalem situation,
and we talk
all clean up on the Roy Moore thing. Yeah. We talked a lot about the Jerusalem thing, yeah.
I mean a huge, huge yeah, it's surprising me on. What's next, are they going to declare Rome the capital of ITALY? It is again what this group of people, Jerusalem, the capital of Israel. You can't give I'm sorry it's an autonomy to name it. You know not at all. That is not going to happen to my society. I'll tell you that I love these. I love these people are saying the
Middle EAST peace is at stake. Here I mean it didn't bring peace to the Middle EAST by not naming it the Fairpoint. Yes, let's try this very good point. Let's try this so
yesterday at the end of the program I mentioned there, 'cause there's a disturbing story. Stew, on pop tarts, now
You asked me that, just as I put a piece of Pat's wife's cookies
mouth chocolate ginger what is about ginger cinnamon it
delicious, or so I'm told
I knew it was. I just need to finish chewing. Ok, so uh
arts alerted police about an Illinois man who spray
mustard on his pop tarts? Ok, what
pop tart is a that's correct. It is a Dunkin donuts, vanilla, latte a lot and I think we had existed. I don't either, but we have it and we have some catch up. So pat
You would never put mustard or ketchup on a pop tart
it's actually said they called the, but they they said if there's the local police that will handle this in one of the local police, actually responded and said were on it. You great I refuse to do so. I was not pleased with notes on Kerr says it's an abomination is pop tart should now I have of it.
A vanilla latte that seems to be a lot of savory mix forget about us lately, I'm not losing that cookie, though yeah. I know
it's delicious, as I'm going to give you something that nobody,
My family knows I mean my family does but
children areas like dad. What are you doing
kidding me that everybody should know this, and I thought everybody did
on. Do it after ideomotor.
That is a weird combination of flavors, a tie that I mean
wow: it's not horrible, not horrible. It gives you kind of that taste of mustard and then softens it with the sweetness. I mean
never choose out. First, I would never choose a vanilla, latte pop tart, a system I mean when you have s'mores. Why would you? Why would you do something like that and I have to tell you I just opened up a pop tart I've never even seen these Unf
step on frosted pop tarts that well that's another abomination. It really is ok. So
just put some now. This is not terrible. Really, it's
weird. But it's not. Let me try that
it's right there that you broke over here 'cause. It looks interesting.
Alright so now. This is where everyone you're actually eating that
but you see what I'm saying it gets you get that little burst of bitter, but then it softens it pretty quickly with the sweetness. It's not horrific. That's not terrible
in fact that I kind of like it shut up, I kinda like it. I give me a word that might become a little bit addictive,
no way. That's in
sting, flavor combination, it is there's something about that. Just looks horrible, it does look horrible, I think,
completion stand down, yeah guy thought
As with it, I was almost like I'm at the small government guy, but maybe, in this case government step in no, maybe not really government should stay
Bad Glenn is not on board with Russia Span. I like it,
I gotta get out that whole thing.
What I do it on my own at my home. I don't think so, but I think I would now
opposed to it that way
that's an interesting. I don't know what are you doing with your silence? So now listen! This is, I can't believe nobody does this.
What are you doing? I am putting butter on toasted pop tarts.
I've never heard of that. Really you never seen that you've never seen it. I don't understand it. How can you
not do it
how much does not occur to people? It's like it's a it's like a toasted
a piece of toast? I would always put butter on right. Isn't the pop tart bad enough for you, without bothering with their first of all, if you're looking for health you're, not looking at a pop talk, nobody's reading the side of the box of pop tarts going well, I don't know what does this actually contain? Ok, now,
like something you toast it after you better know. You toast it first. Ok, now.
I want you,
It smells amazing. This is, I mean you will never eat a pop tart
you will never eat a pop tart normal again. Your quote: unquote normal.
Yeah. Who are you to say? What's normal, your petard normative standards, yeah alright
it's very greasy yeah. It's not it's buttery buttery uh huh
a little gym Issaquah, if you will I,
like you almost have to eat it upside down to get the any butter in it because yeah well, I thought I kind of rush because you should yeah me should have good too good, healthy passable.
Each one you know I'm just saying again: it has.
Sort of the savory thing going on and you have to make sure that you're getting the you have to make sure you're getting the edges of the pop tart. That does not have any of the fruity good,
This is this. Is this another day
holiday, tree death trap like the
Like the all cream and chocolate hot chocolate, hot cocoa,
the number this cheesy mashed potatoes that are ninety percent cheese
going to put a little mustard on mine just to see oh come.
Mustard and butter. But do you I feel like I got right down? What's that on the
Well, that's pretty good, there's a better one. I like butter ones about somebody that would come up and I'm so happy
What's be honest to start, here's the mustard,
If
so I had an idea with 'cause. I like this is what I like to do with me. This is not the best pop tart you've ever eaten, that's good.
Both butter and the mustard,
you see, no you've destroyed all credibility by saying now that, with mustard, I want people to try it. I challenge you to try it.
Good? We, like our audience, shows you. How open minded I am
Why do we have ice cream in here I mean I, don't
don't get me wrong.
I'm totally fine. I should never
yeah. I we should live in a world where I don't have to ask. Why do we have ice cream in here should always be in here a smart way to live. I I will give you that, so I had a you know a little invention here to at that. I the way I like to eat pop tarts. Other heating up now gotta be hop pop tarts, but hop pop tarts.
At functioning as the sandwich of an ice cream sandwich
No, it's like this century, the cookie having done that before we just think of it now! Oh! No! This is high tech, because
you get so this is like a breakfast dessert right like you're,
you started out? I think, with the normal pop tart right yeah, that gets you through the morning part of the pop tart.
Yes at the end. That, of course, has the butter on it. Then you move to lunch part where you put the mustard on top and then
for the dinner dessert part you go.
Eight to the
scream in the middle of two hot pop tarts?
all this is is like a little
if toast and
strawberries and ice cream, and maybe a little, maybe just a little bit of green over your strawberries
as a cooking patted you might, holding cell is healthy for you. If I came, if you actually do a little bit of milk and some huh and some of the some fruit in a bowl
and, and then you and and have a little bit of toast or pike
uh. Would you say, do you think are all of our lives would be like that you're eating right. Actually, I said:
I so I think so,
As these are a finishing up, did you have you had one other, the the Roy Moore stuff? Where were you on, though? Well it did you
what is spokesman said yesterday that she was being told that
a lot of accusers there there's a lot of smoke here. There must be fire an
all the criminals who are seeking revenge and then
he argued that
plenty of
boat, non accusers that did not did not
use the judge of any sexual misconduct. So there's a
the group of non accusers that didn't accused him so you're
Is that not
