Hi guys, thank you for thank you for waiting and are you guys waited this room? Is jam packed welcome panel? How you guys doing everyone good excellent, let's jump right in Laurie. Are you tired of making hit? Shows you wake up every you're like oh, this is so boring. No, good! Alright how do you guys sell? How do you guys sell a show about nerd culture before it was actually a thing that the that the media took zero?
even as recently as ten years ago, if you said the word nerd in a network or maybe like two needs, so how do you? How do you guys do that? I don't think we're. What is it Heather? I Think we were doing a show about nerd culture? We were doing a show about people we liked so who happen to be nerds absolutely is your microphone. I don't know idea. Was it wasn't about nerds? It was about extraordinary people and- and still is it's about great people. Where did the? Where did it come from tell a story? um before before I was a writer I was a computer programmer and I and I I work with some terrific, wonderful people and I I've told check about them one day and he thought may there was a television show in that really you know amazing, wonderful people, and I think you know for those of us
who, who are members of a particular group. Sometimes we don't see ourselves depicted on, tell vision, and it was fun to be part of doing that and Steve you also Steve? I know you, I know you through g culture. So what is your into the show I was not there for the creation, but I've been there since episode two and right now. The only thing I could about is there so we're Sheldon is uncomfortable on stage in front of enough adults that can trample him and I totally get so so you guys are cats are going into we're going to the fifth season. Now you can force for seasons of the show as actors, you obvious They have audition for a bunch of stuff. I know you guys have worked on a ton of other shows. So what what did you think start with your gym when you, when you first got the script for the show, what went through your head um. That I really wanted to? I wanted really
to say these words that that they had written for Sheldon. You know, I've always said I didn't know, don't know necessarily a good show when I see it like I didn't read it and no one way or the other whether this would work or not. I don't even couldn't even think that way, but I did want to say these lines that he said, and I really thought that that if I could learn them, I would be able to do that to their liking and and they did I liked it and they hired me, but that's really that's what I thought. I don't really you know like. I say I just wanted a chance to at least play him in that pilot and then, and then God knows what would happen after that, but this happened. So that's good. But how do you play How do you play a guy that, like how do you make a character lovable that really has complete lack of empathy for a third human being. Well, I don't I do I do I I didn't think about it.
In that way I guess that's the only way. I know I didn't try to make him sympathetic. I didn't try to make him to to garner any empathy for him? I think perhaps I've always felt empathy for him. You know what I mean like. I think that he's always seemed very human to me. As far as I uh I, never I guess that's it. Maybe anything. Is that I've never suspected from the moment I read his first line that he had any nefar, serious, meaning or or that he did lack emotion. This is just simply his way of dealing. You know and so I I don't know so I didn't ever see it that way to have to to backtrack and change anything or put anything on it. I just it is what it is. Is it some and he's a he's, a lovely, fella I'm sorry! I will call you penny, I'm sorry! It's a problem. It's problem Kelly, I'm just
to see your face on the tv and now you're right there nerding out a little bit. What's the problem, any really seems to dig nerds? That's awesome, nerds nerds, the cayley dig nerds too sweet. Love you No, you could you say that that guy is going to find you after. Like me, when you say you love me in the bed, I got this ring you're in it now you guys are legally married. I never saw that. Has it been, has it been for you on the show the past four years? Can you believe in almost five years? I don't know why. I can't believe it. It's been unbelievable ride uhm. I can't believe it. When we did the pilot I feel like? We all knew we had something special and I can't believe, are going into fifth year they've, given my character, unbelievable growth and you know she's totally one of the guys and she has girlfriends and now and it's
I don't know it's just been unreal and we're just riding this wave. Is long as you. Let us, how is your how's, your leg, how's your leg, the horse step on your leg. Is that what happened? I think for Steven Simon's leg Simon. You want to take that. Yes, I do make animals angry. So It happened to Kaylee and it was sad I will accident last year, but I'm perfectly I now these okay- now, yes, they they just did you have a cast added cast a wide was back to work after I've missed two episodes, but I came back. I had a cast in. They kind of worked around it and I hopped around and they were great writers, were great and help me out and it worked. It worked out, thank God, so you can go back and watch the episodes. Where
standing behind furniture? Yes, yes, there's a lot of standing and we all got to go to the hospital and she said: oh, look, look how gross it is. Look at that yeah I was. I was into it yeah, no, that's been nine months ago for longer, weird mister, lucky how's it going man, anybody, I've known this guy, since he was like eleven years old. And now you're a man I'm working on it. You have grown up to be a nice man with beard stubble with it's so nice, it's nice, it's nice to see like I miss you know when this, when the show first- and I was like- oh my god, that's so awesome, because anyone who knows you just like a sweet guy and you're nice and you been working in the business for a long time. Thank you. So how did you do the show or the offer to you? What was? How did you get involved? I was doing a play in New York and Chuck called me in and said: look we have worked together but on Roseanne on the Roseanne show, and
so he had this idea along with this fellow bill, pretty an eye and they hadn't had anything written yet and body fax. Me a couple of pages a couple weeks late and we started talking about it and you never you never know. If it's going to work, I mean you know, you read something, you know if you like it or not, and I did, and you know not to be a complete fool and to trust Chuck Lorre when he says this is a good idea and and but it really wasn't the first table reading when I heard everybody do their thing than I thought. Now I get it now. I see it and we might be here for a very long time and I really hope we are
Oh, I think there's no question, I think the question and by the way congratulations on the Emmy nomination. I mean both of Eugene man. Johnny I mean at Jim Parsons. You gotta, you gotta me at home already, so it's like old hat Johnny. This is incredible. You guys are sort of head to head at the Emmys visit visit, fierce competition fierce always since day one, however, between them if you win, you're gonna show up and then gyms going to show me Geico, yeah whatever, and then you guys are going to head butt or how is that going to play out working environment, we have, I don't head butt, thank you? Thank you, Sir Canal.
Excellent bollywood. Bollywood performance this season. Please, can you explain a little bit to the Caucasians Bollywood is end. Really fascinating to me. I don't understand what the hell is going on, but I just know that it's awesome. Can you explain it a little bit It's a people does really handsome and good looking and talented people dancing around and making love in the rain, and I'm crying a lot, it's beautiful, but almost seemingly out of nowhere and a scene where she and we're dancing on elephants like how is there is there a? I don't think I've ever seen a bollywood movie where people dance on elephants, butt. I've seen movies where they dance with elephants. I watched
of extreme bollywood so a lot of dancing elements. Whatever it's cool. It's no big deal young men that it was really cool, shooting that scene with that with Melissa, she's, a she's a great with their shoes, she's a she's, a great dancer and a very good singer, and very indian inside of a system. That's not a dirty, but I mean like, like you know what I mean like you know: Mister Helberg. How are you I don't have any indian in my system yet, but you like I'm sorry that was obvious joke. I thought everyone was making. We've already been there done that. So it's not a big year after my my kiss with canal Has it been for you, Simon? Had I mean you're you're for you that you know I I don't even Improv comedy background. Is it do you? Is there a lot of
improv on the set thirty you guys, how does it work? No, I I mean how could we make up those lines we have to be insane night. I can't even imagine how the written down so I know we memorize them and, and we and we say them as they are in and lean on the writers a whole lot so this is true. It could you could improvise some theoretical physics, one. Second, No. I got really excited for a second included two weeks I got and I got nothing. No, no it's it's. It's tremendous writing and I guess it's a it's a balance of performance and everything. It's just a perfect storm of people were very lucky. Is it true that you and is true. You Melissa have a kind of MRS while what's off is that is it? Is it? Is it true? I I heard that they were doing impersonations. We have both done
with her own impression of her on on the shell, but yeah so that you don't want too many of those voices, though floating around the stage. It's it's very terrifying, as you get here that I'd like to hear your boss totally wants to hear it. I think you have to totally do it okay stand back. I guess how many. Is that it? That's all
what is Dan Simon she faced you, I she's a little bit too strong. It's the Indian and me here: listen what's your! What's with what to do, give it give a sketch comedy background. I'm we started in stand up comedy in New York um years ago in my youth and and and then I came out here- um kind of pursue stuff. Like this, I don't I don't. Do round up as much anymore. What was behind
like what made you say that I think I want to get a phd for the hell of it uhm, I don't know if anyone says they want to get a Phd just for the hell of it. I fell love with biology when I was a teenager when I was still working on blossom and I really just wanted to pursue academia when I finish blossom, I was two years out of high school. I did undergrad in neuroscience and honestly yeah, where my neuroscience pictures at honestly, I loved academia, I loved what I was studying and that's the reason. Many of us go on to a Ph D. 'cause, there's not much else going on and you like what you're doing and you don't want to join the real world. So that's what happen. Did you even ask addition for the show where you like guys, I'm kind of a doctor. No, I did addition for this show uhm. I I'm sorry to admit. I had never watched the show I had heard of it but uhm. I was
well, they need a female Jim Parsons and I said who is Jim person so yeah you're welcome Jim, and so I googled Jim Parsons the night before the audition, and I did my best my best Jim Parsons, and I guess it was good enough and on my my resume under miscellany. It says Phd Neuroscience UCLA and I believe it was bill. Brady who said, hey, wait a second. Do you really have a phd in neuroscience, and I said yes, I do and then I left and I got the I got the job zone We have done a sanders. An actors resume like people lie about stuff on there. All the time and other stuff that it says in her special skills are like horse back riding moonwalking, australian accent. So, like that's, why that's awesome? Well, that's where it goes. It doesn't go under tv or film. It goes under miscellany. Actually, are you able to consult on the show?
so if I consult but uhm, you know, I think I get a twitch when a word is not exactly the way my neuroscience training would have it be. So I think it's pretty obvious. I'm so turned on right. Now, I'm glad there's a podium right here. I'll just say that my my am helps out a great deal on an Amy's science dialogue. Add with my acting skills and can all helps out on in things. Kaylee helps out an adorable things. I not gonna do the adorable joke died, so I'm not going to keep going. This is a big season, a lot a lot. A lot of your stuff happen this season and I know, there's a there's a huge cliff hanger is there? Can you tease anything that might be coming up? Is that going to resolve quick, see in the first season I mean in the fifth season back or is that going to dry out? What's going on,
It worked out answer good for you. There will be a resolution and we think, whichever way you came down on what happened, you'll be happy with how it works out. Play Mister Sandman? We worked on that Steve and I worked on that for awhile. As soon as possible. Sing the theremin, I think it's a question that everyone's mind now alright, but I really did enjoy that very much. Actually, Did you actually learn how to play a star trek? Anybody who really plays the theremin would be mad at me for saying yes, I learned, but I did to the best of my ability learn. I did that whoa
other show. Could you see a smoking monkey and twenty five cats and a. None right! It's a! I don't know. If those to me I I know I agree a bit on it- is seriously about that. As one of the best things I think we have going for is is like the basis of our show is brilliant minds in science. So will science covers just about anything I mean I just feel like anything. They think. They're like we should have, I mean we've had a time machine on the show already. You know I mean it's like if you can think of it, but they could probably find a way to fit it in. We can justify it. It's science That's my feeling! Listen if you want to draw
TARDIS right in the middle of the living room. I know a guy tell distance for time and hang on. Thomas stands for time and relative dimension in space. It's a time machine. It's a time machine. Did we just get booed at comics yeah? That's that's! The first time ever been booted back logo. You can't get mad at her. Well, you haven't seen everything that's ever been on television. These people have jobs. What do you want to break? We saw all the episodes of walking dead. We're going to open up the floor, to questions on the floor for just a minute, but just really quickly. Go down if you guys have favorite moments from the season that that you remember that you that you want to share. Let's start with you, I am well
My joke is usually the kissing Kaylie was my favorite moment of the season, but that was pretty good no, but I thought I thought when I thought, when I in Sheldon had their drunk kiss. I think that is my favorite part of this season. My favorite? moment of this season was also with my am, but it's not something that made it well. It is on film, but you wouldn't know what was going on. We had to do a scene. Do you remember this were sitting, I won't say we're sitting? Ok, God, I'm sorry It was my m and I were attending an event type thing and the person that the first thing that we were watching do this event. He kept staring us and he was saying all these lines directly to the actor was, and it was really hard to do
like he'd stare at us. While we were acting and not explaining it, he was supposed to be making a speech speaking to a group of people, but whenever they were filming just me and Jim, he wasn't pretending like he was speaking to everyone. He was looking just staring at us while we're acting, and so I'm like. Ok, I'm going to look, just to the right of his head. You look to the right of his head too. So both of us had to look up. Here. So we wouldn't have to look at him hi. We had to agree where we were going to pretend he was those. So one of us wasn't looking in the other. Thank you for helping me with that story, and it was horrible you then you save that whole thing Kaley. This is such a hard question. I get there's so many for a moment because there's been so many, I guess I'm selfishly going to name one that I was in, but This is where I had a lovely man to grab my ass in an episode when we were dancing- and he was
little older man, and he was so perfect and it uses so against everything he believed in, but I was like honey just grab. It just join he closed his eyes and just went for it. I I had a whole gee, it's a tough call, Kaylee's look to Kuna when she wakes up the next morning. Next to him is six Melissa had a line this year. I think it was. I want my baby to have nice things yeah. No, it's funny, and I teach there was this this the slightest little that will in the end of her reading of it, was just straight him and I couldn't get enough of it and I watched her. Do it so many times and you taking your clothes off and restaurant when you're on the medication man, you stole my favorite moment. I think
funniest thing was when we were doing the body would done so. We had to learn how to sing the song actually and Melissa, and I were in the studio with a single, with sing teacher, an this indian and she was like you are. I was trying to sing a song like you are my heart, my universe and she's, like not my but my universe. So here I am in this booth stranded on this song, which Rogers was a good thing anyway, and getting like yelled at by this teacher who's. To give me the right note in music, I feel did it, but it was still was pretty memorable, Would you two like to be alone? I knew I'd find my soulmate at comic con I enjoyed wrestling with Kunal
on and off camera. I I like put in a unitard on which I had never done very, very convenient piece of clothing. It's just one piece and I slipped it on and then I got to you know shake all about that was fun and I've enjoyed working with Melissa, a lot more and proposing and being all sweet, sweetness and talent this year,
it was a fan before I came on the show, so I feel like I'm going to list off one hundred of just ban moments watching these guys. But, oh my god, I'm sorry. I don't need up. That's not what I thought you said. I can't hear very well done here. I thought you said I was a man before I came on. This episode was like what the hell do. They know this. Did the producers notice? That's exactly what I said you can hear just behind you heard absolutely right: I'm so sorry the operation is not complete yet, but it will be by next season. There's no too far. In so sorry, I we love the penny and Sheldon Acting lesson. I thought that was fantastic and there was also just that look with Kelly and Johnny in the
new year's Eve episode at at when the when the clock struck night and everyone celebrate. There was just that moment that they looked at each other and it was just it was really. It was just beautiful and really it was such who's really nice and when he had that moment of of worry when he heard the thud, when MRS Wolowicz fell to the ground it was just. In such a hard time with me, yeah, not really, sorry, all all of your sins, all ever every single one I want to I wanted to have enough time 'cause. Usually they only allow like ten minutes for questions and I always feel like that's not enough, especially 'cause. You guys, you guys. Have hardcore fans. I know there are a lot of people out there that I'm sure have some awesome questions So do we have the microphone lined up or people people ready? Oh my god, she's right there.
The crap outta me see up like that. What is your name Adam? My name is Joe hi Jody. What's your tonight, my question is for bill or Chuck season going now season. Five now- and I just know when is Sheldon going to. Theory and spawn far 'cause. He got about seven years. You want to take this I don't. I don't like you know, Sheldon Sheldon seems singularly devoted to decide it's I, I think I think only time will tell biological if he's actually Vulcan. Yes, it's
no, it's like that time when you fired his cells down at the Genesis planets in Shelton Reformed. Alright, sorry probably have to teach him to sweep. Hello, sir, I just want to say I love you. I just show I just got back from Iraq and that would help me get through the whole time I was gone and my question was for Jim. I wonder if I get a bazinga and true Sheldon fashion. There's so many ways to do it, but what I was going to say thank you for serving our
treat this thing done. Thank you, hello. This question is for Jim after four seasons. What aspects of playing Sheldon, or still a challenge for you. I don't know what he's talking about a lot of the time. Still that's challenging that's my name's for these days, which is actually sad but true. You know, I feel like one of the ways in which all of us, are so lucky on this show. Is that there's there's little to nothing that anybody is able to phone in, as it were, there's something there's some version of challenge to every one of these episodes. For for everybody. You know the story, stay interesting. The story say honest in the stories stay very organic. You know like the introduction, especially these,
the Miami Melissa and their characters this year, you know as a thousand her ways you could try out somebody and see if they're gonna work on the show, but I I guess what I'm saying is that they we keep the writers. We keep getting things that are so organic to these characters and the story is different. Have not they just keep growing from that same place that they came from the very beginning and so that stays challenging is the challenge, for you is keep honest stay on it, so I guess that's it still. Just the challenge is to always remain true, because that's what the script is doing. So good Lord. She there is no, but it's right I mean like it's like. We said, there's no way you can for it like when you're like it. I I can imagine the rock paper scissors lizard Spock like that that was given to ST pages of just you. I don't know what it was. It anymore, but it was bad and it was hurtful- and I had to
to stare into canals I as well. I did it and he would just really that's the most takes. I've ever had to do with anything, we've ever done and can all which is stay there and watch me and I'd fail and he go all and and so it was ended up being a sweet moment between us, but it nearly broke me as a man, hello. What's your name hi Nancy hi? This is my first call. What's good, I found out you guys are going to be here. I had to fight to get the comic con picture of you guys too, but my thing is: I could be like penny, not knowing all the nerdiness that you guys kind of do so on the off time. Do you pull any nerdy
on each other? That sounds gross. When you say resident Indian inside me, down there near other nerdy pranks for actress, Diane Keaton, I can see it yeah. She just got it thirty right come on guys. I think it's something. I know it's not a ranking. I don't know for frank stirrers with a lot of fun of each other meeting me anything people make fun of me, but when a prankster we talk a lot about our ping pong playing with a lot of lame Kaylee. I just want to point that the game is a yes Nancy, get your nerdy Nisam,
Come you'll learn time. No, that's true her! That's what she's really like next. The next question: hi there big fan question is Sir Gilbert going to come back to the show service. There is a service doing those she's not available to us she's doing show the talk is talk which is a show cvs. Yes, I think there's a on around CBS. During the day your honor, I was on an island. On the other day I was on it was area, so you it should be a little more sure than it was on CBS, and I never.
Myself, that's the problem. But yes, it's on CBS. Welcome back and thank you. Are you dressed like how It's like you're looking into any no is this the walking dead? It's things over the last season, we've seen more of a an Amy Farrah Fowler. And I was just wondering how was she developed? Where did she get the thirty in the windows that get said on the tv show. That's all me
I have in my contract. I need your questions all the time me like me and he's asking me questions go on line very sexual actors. Thirty, you know as writers, we just we try right into the strength of the actors. So hello, full frontal nudity this year on the big bang? I think one of the day, the difference that we talked about between Sheldon and Amy is, is Sheldon missed out on a lot growing up and he doesn't care and Amy Miss and on a lot growing up and she desperately wants it, and so we we see the difference between Sheldon and Amy's Amy's game Amy wants to have it the experiences she didn't have and so
of them. Some of them seem to burn with her lawyer. I think also this. You know this speaks to one of the kind of the subtle differences you know between the the male version of of what we see Jim portraying the female version. You know, I think, there's a a little bit of suspended adolescents, possibly- and I I think that's part of kind of the the the quirkiness we don't know what's going to come out of her mouth and you know it's obviously super fun to play. And yes, I am a very, very sexual actress. Your girls are tigers in the sack, that's why you should date them. I know from experience. You don't know what you're missing if you're not seriously sir hi uh hi
hi. I know you met plenty of fans over the years. This questions for the entire panel. What what is your favorite nerdy encounter. I think right now, but you to that boy. Only noise, one am I having a stroke, you guys smell toast right, any other favorite nerd encounters. I can't be that what let's go back to my mom's sexuality,. Which I can actually vouch for as twenty years ago my first screen kiss was mine. Are you serious yeah?
Do it again, my favorite nerd encounter right there I I I know you from dirty things. We have a lot of nerdy friends in common, so now that you're on a show that is popular first of all. Why would he do that to me? Why would out me like that? I just wanted to you this month. I mean like now you go to things. People go my. I know you're working so who's your favorite nerd out moment. Someone that you were a fan of. That was also a fan of you who
do an. Let me think I I'm not as nerdy as you think you really put a lot of pressure on the nerdiness that I take with me in my room. I just look at your clothes in your hair and I know it's like it's so obvious and that adorable beard like it's so obvious. I as I rode my wrong. It's like when I auditioned for this and they're like perfect. You just keep exactly that same hairstyle, and can you bring those pants too? No, I mean gosh it who am. I I'm always is mostly surprised by, like the variety of people that are fans of post like nursing out, like I I'll see like I one time was parked at a red like some the red light in this giant muscular tattooed man was walking in front of my car anyway, and I like immediately
like an empty water bottle that I was going to him. He was like all over show Wolowicz Howard, how we're going to see your mom, and I was like. Oh my god, I ran over him and I thought this would be a good place to come out about it yeah so that, just to completely avoid your question. No thanks That is that is interesting. That's an interesting point to bring out. There is just the variety of people that enjoy the show, and you know- and it is it's my tendency to peg- it is like no, it's a geek show. Right. It is just it's a show about people and I think that's one of the reasons why it's so successful and you guys your numbers are huge. Is that it you know like nerds can watch it, and
Arms can watch it. As I call them the mouth breathers out there, it's nice, it's a good balance. Do you have another question by thanks to bone up there? I was wondering why did you say that that show the first case was weak Ballard when he kissed Leonard's mom in a previous episodes? So we had a discussion in the writers room about that and there for two sides in the writers room people who felt that there was the difference between a kiss, we're. Both people participated and a kiss where somebody grabbed you and kissed you. So some people felt that that when it's mom didn't count, some people felt it did some.
People said who's ever going to ask something people said they'll ask at comic con, I personally as an actor both of them and I'm honored, to have done both and then a child he's. Will you seize ready when a man and a woman love?
What's your? What's your name? What's your question, as for Kaylee was very singing soft kitty and rubbing vapor rub on in Madison one day, you'll learn to appreciate that many many moons ago I was actually kind of fun with it did you enjoy Jim yeah? I mean it was frankly it was more of word for me. I had to bare flesh But no that was nice. I mean it was you know it was idea, good idea. Writing we yeah. We pretty quickly.
Madison? How old are you oh you're, so cute yeah, I, Does this is no so serious. Oh my god. You guys that the intensity that you said that you were like hit girl, like no Nancy, may have some questions for you on the corner. Did you have another question. It was nice to meet you, no hello, what's your name sweetheart, I'm Hadrian, and this is my first comic con
here. The little girls have into more cons than you, but first of all I just want to thank all of you. I've sort of grown up with this show and it's just been so helpful. Helping me find my way to the sciences, but I guess my question is to the right do you think the show has been effective at kind of humanizing scientists, or do you think they've sort of become characters to some of the? I guess norms in the audience? That's a great question is a great question. It put the show help you find your way into. Science is, then, then, that's beyond our wildest dreams, a great thing that that the show can do is to make a call to come to science. Thank you. Thank you. It is, it is important me like now you know now,
so it's like there's hipster, nerds and people say it's colder and I'm going up in the 80s. There was no irony behind it. Like you just couldn't. It was not cool. It was not a cool thing to do and you guys have helped sort of open the gates and help people be able to come out and celebrate. The things are passionate about. We like to say that cheers brought people to alcoholism and big bang breaks in the science. What's a good, what's your name, Aaron, are you sure, save a little nervous sweetheart? My question is for everyone you eating right now,
better get to request to yarn bombing. Who is your favorite feeling like woo, eaten the Godstone, Sheldon's virtual stuff or anyone else that bad Well, I didn't understand the question: She said who are your favorite? I love. The whole was with Arnold Schwarzenegger, even the girls training is like you didn't understand. That I just like to make her.
Yeah well. I think I would throw in, though really such a great guy in general, it's always fun to have on the set. So I want to pick him too, but I really also enjoy like I for if will in and Sheldon, are truly at adversaries, whereas I feel like Sheldon and Kripke I have a problem with each other, but I think there's an odd friendship and understanding there that could develop if they came you know or whatever. So I am torn, but I just I to mention Kripke, who I I have an affinity for as well. All right, again. I want to have a hand for Wil Wheaton, one of the coolest guys in the war well and if you he loves it, when you run up to him and seeing the stand by me theme so do that if you see him he'll love, it he'll think it's hysterical hill. Thank you and ask you to do it again. I
in the button queen. I was talking about Maine. What's your name, my name is the button. Lady, oh well, perhaps someday the queen shut die and you shall ascend to the throne fur. I want to say thank you to Jim and the writers for never answering the question about whether Sheldon is autistic. I work with children of autism and shelter. Isn't autistic he's Sheldon, but my question is, for my I saw your what not to wear episode and I was wondering if Clinton and Kelly are upset with how your dressing on the show, I think I break all the rules
they set out for me. No menswear and pretty much from the waist of Amy only wears men's, wear nothing loose and she only wears lose and nothing hideously pattern, and that's all I also seem to wear so see. My best in real life, but but clearly, I think Amy is violating many rules of what not to wear. As are you. That button.
Now you will hi. My question is for for Jim, I'm wondering if you get like fan letters or or like communications from people who have OCD or people who have Asperger's or at from anybody, the medical community who says I thank you or they have an issue with that are like. What's what's been the reaction to that, I was really interesting. I don't get so many letters about that, like in specific about that, but I've heard my mother is a first grade teacher and she has a lot of oh wondering what the call but like like people who work with to help diagnose, undying, Yeah. Is that your mom, I'm not sure, but only knows that she what she has people that tell her that they're you know, there's that they, I feel. So So we certainly, I know your behavior a something
She people to talk to a lot? I've heard her told me that you know I don't know to word this and afraid of step I'm toes, are sounding inappropriate and that's a ridiculous way to live I in that day good to see someone. This is Sheldon functioning in the world for some reason, but but then back to button matter. You know Sheldon is just Sheldon, you know at the end of the day and so a man what I like about that is that it does take away some of this responsibility that I apparently can't handle as I'm. So squirming up here. So thank you. I guess that was all I had to say you win this round button. Lady show me mine. We have time for one more question.
Oh, my god, hey this better, be hi uh, so um just wondering um. What do you in common with your characters? Every year call Nono this, because I'm foreign people don't understand my intonation just because I'm foreign make a donation. It is rude and I have nothing hi. I live next door to peep.
It must be so awesome, but Cortana, myself and Bernadette are both really short. I have that until your character to. Uhm yeah, I mean I got I would almost say there's there's very little. I I I haven't yeah. I do have an affinity, for you know clothes sometimes, but I hope there a little cooler and looser than the clothes I have to run the show, but you know I definitely I I I think of Howard is a romantic and I and it just very bad one, and- and I I can relate to that, not with the aggressive. No, no I mean I do when
which is the struggle everyday struggle, not only because I happen to be in our scientists and then made my character and biologists, but I don't know it Jim likes to say I am the truly the nerdy as person I think, on our cat, so I say I said you're the smartest person in the cast. I think I appreciate your the only one. To help with dialogue just off the top of her head. That I was going to say is you know so speaking as a person who actually grew up speaking nerd science Geek language, you know, I think, the things for me about my character that uhm that make her a good, nuro, biologist or kind of you know things in me. I'm fastidious and I meticulous an I like words and careful with words, so I I like to represent sort of that form of a brainy brainy girl. So I guess that's that's pretty much me yeah. I
understand she Sheldon's the whole thing with germs, I'm not quite as bad as that, but is he would say. I don't want your journey breath on me either. You know I mean, and that's not, I think, we're just about at the at the end of the panel, but I want to thank you guys for coming out and waiting and supporting the show.
