Our Sunday Talks Excerpt: The school of difficulty is the best school — for nations and for individuals. Indeed, the history of difficulty is but a history of all the great and good things that have been accomplished. Wherever there is difficulty, the individual must come out for better or for worse. Encountering difficulty will train your strength, and discipline your skill; heartening you for future effort, just as a racer, by being trained to run up a high hill, runs on a track with speed and grace.
