The good morning, everybody and welcome to the highlight of civilization. It's called coffee with Scott Adams. There's never been a fighter experience in your entire life and, if you'd like to experiences at the peak possible pinnacle, I just ran out of things to say at the end of the sentence. Well, all you need is a cup or mug, or a glass of tank shells was dialect, candy, jug or flask a vessel of any kind filling with your favorite liquid. I like coffee, Jointly now for the unparalleled pleasure, the dopamine hit of the day, the thing that makes every
in better and because of my shirt, it's the Zelensky sip go map Matt just made it everybody mats here we're going to start all over Matt. It's a good thing. You made it no we're not going to start all over. or are we well was gonna today? Let me tell you. Here's how you know it's us Low, newsday a lot of people are talking about. George santos, you now George said doses republican, but. He may have told some whoppers about his resume, maybe but the funniest.
part about It- is that is a gay republican and their republicans oreo totally protect them because of like republicans, but everything about the story is funny, but it doesn't really matter. Is it really a big story that a liar got into congress? Oh, no! How will the republic. survive that one liar and congress, if only get rid of george santos non lying congress. It would that they suffer. yeah, let's get rid of that one liars. I think if we do, that will be in good shape. Oh here's, my macro observation doesnt, seem to you, like the news got suddenly really slow. am I right, like all the news is just yesterday's news repackaged a little bit.
There's something coming: There's something really big coming and I dont want it is. I don't have a gas, probably political, but There is no way that we're gonna have. You know another week of no news that we're not gonna have a full wake of no new and everything is just repeat like you Well, oh, the the government's going to be shut down because of the debt ceiling. How many times have we done the same story as every year and then, who will first and who is winning the shut down and everybody its everybody because the shut down and then and then once the shadow happens. What does everybody say? Let us do the entire and pc gave it ok, The envious is the non player characters if we're a simulation
the ones who say only the most obvious thing, I useless I'll, give you a topic, and then you tell me what the npc say will play along at the same time are the most obvious thing to say about another battle over. That limit. Oh, why don't we have a line? I don't veto. Why don't? We have a balanced budget required? Why don't? We cut the pay of the numbers of congress and then, of course, my favorite, the government shut down. I didn't even notice, maybe it's an improvement. Maybe we should shut the rest of it down and then, of course, we have to talk about who won and who blinked, who lost no nobody's willing
if nobody's losing they're, all just playing the same game. How does it as anybody win or lose? I don't know what we're just going to get bored by the whole thing, they're going to pass a continuing resolution or something we don't understand that they're going to keep spending our money, but not much of a story there by years, an interesting thing I saw on twitter day in a twitter account. Do me, Sonny washington,. Who says over two million. I think there is an article on the hill gather hill overtook, two million students have left public school last two years and many are now homes schooled included. Over sixty percent of black households, which is the largest percentage of any ethnic group. Today we know that.
did you know that the at the black american kids are going to school at a higher rate than others? What a great trend that I should be like the headline China is rising happening right now. There would be like new here that we have already talked to death, but also could be like a wonderful thing. So here's here's my argument: why helping the young black population of america is the biggest lever we have for improving the country because they're in the deepest hole, if he helped the people that are in the deepest hole, you can maybe move them from. You know, depending on the
system to making money and supported in the system and it's a way better benefit if you take somebody from you know costing money to making money as opposed to taking somebody who's already making money- and you know they do twenty per cent better. That's a much smaller gain for society than helping somebody go from unemployed to employ. That's a that's a big thing, so it looks like the you know. Maybe the free market, and maybe some other forces are causing a trend that would be very beneficial for black americans and that would be amazing for everybody in america. So how about that just unambiguous good news. Does that feel good? Just unambiguous good news, black americans are taking up homeschooling at higher rates than other people
Good. So that's that's exactly what I wanted to see in america. So maybe more of that we'll see that rasmussen, disemboweling about this debt ceiling and shutdown stuff. Fifty six percent prefer the shutdown so that that's how congress is doing fifty six percent of us would rather just close the entire stuff just just close it all down. I forget it, but I think people liked the fight they just don't know what to do about it. It's just not easy to to fix the problem because we have a system problem. Is that really a person problem? Is it when you agree? It's a system, design problem that gets us to the same place all the time you could replace all the people in it. You could do term limits, get rid of everybody tomorrow, but then it would just quickly or revolve back to where it is. So. We do need a system change. I don't think it's a personnel change that has he's gotta, be a system change. So if you saw a person who had any influence who said, I recommend a different process, except for the,
and item veto, that's never going to happen yeah. We can talk about it all day. I guess, but we did. If somebody's saying do something differently, I would. I would certainly listen to that. But if everybody is just oh, do it our way to do it? Our way passes bill to pass us bill. It's all just nothing and again, yeah we'll do we'll we'll talk about that story. Door at every Today I find myself where he being a little bit amazed amazed, mac, gates, gates, renewed himself politically, is, as everybody is surprised at that, as I am I've, never seen anything like that, like there, the rapidity of which he went from Your politically dead, too may be the only person than that on the republic inside you care about lately.
the only one who did anything good lately, qrp that we shut down the government indefinitely and salt. The earth say it's very popular: we want them to fail, even though we don't really so maybe gates is the only kind of person who could you know maybe suggest something, that's out of the box, because everybody else seems to be in the box like the most dangerous person in the world in congress like mansion in cinema, because they have the ability to get out of their box. And now maggots are basically three people who could run congress because everybody else decided not to the the three who took leadership because they could, and apparently they want to be, leaders actually want to do it, and so they are three boasts three. most important people in congress, although I think covers massey is it is a sleeper. You are you're watching him
as he is sort of quietly stays rational, inconsistent at which always make some sort of an outcast. Only the bigger conversations by whoever is being trained to just be rational, yes, really ignored, because they know that create a lot of energy, but but there's like if here's up for the keep an eye on its easy sleeper, because he just continues to be. Smart and ride like every day? Well, that wasn't very interesting, but he was smart and he was right. Then, tomorrow, ok, new topic. Well, there's that smart guy being right again, you didn't get a lot of attention, but there is smart and right, but once again so
You know ears by long range prediction he might be, but I had to use this term is don't make too much of the analogy. He might be the Bernie sanders of the republic meaning that Bernie was like a weirdo until his time gave, and then he was near the star. I they masses yo. like this odd little category, of trying to be rational and helpful and, like nobody even knows what that looks like oozes, rational, helpful guy, why? Why does he keep saying rational, helpful things? That's no good, but I feel like his time will come if he stays in that job. I dunno So I think these are gonna. Catch up with every doesn't need to catch up with them. I had better, Let's see who's a one one percent of according rasmussen, twenty
preserve the people polled thing. Taxpayers are more to blame for the size of the deficit, then congress, twenty one percent, think its taxpayers problem now congress so little low. I would have expected the least for basis points on that. I would have expected, if five- that's just me- I term in case you wondered if we lived in a simulation, we keep say lillian's little hints razors, tragic story of a fox news, whether man, who is right in the subway, and he saw some teens picking,
an elderly guy and he got involved. So we liked that ride. He he he took a took initiative and tried to stop an old man from being abused on the subway. This caused the teams to turn on him and beat him quite badly, so he got the crap beat out of him on the on the subway. He was outnumbered now the name of this weatherman destruction whose weatherman is Adam. His first name is Adam. His last name is clots. Calle, o t z. So I believe I believe there was some bleeding involves, but the good news is. Adam clots, so he's right beside us out of plots, but what? Why is he in the news? At the same time, I am like what are the odds
What are the odds? Are you would be like a national story at the same time? people were all riled up about my recent vaccination statements. Which are not really vaccinations. Are they will talk about them?. How many of you saw on twitter, a tweet,
the video of a woman who claims that she got the vaccination and is it gave her like some kind of permanent shakes and she was trying to walk and she was she was shaking badly. How many of you saw that so yeah, it's going all over the internet and, of course, because it's the internet and nobody holds back on twitter. People were brutal, saying that she was faking that the number of people who said this is a fake video, you're faking and to the point, to the point where twitter actually put a context warning on it, saying there's no evidence that this really happened,
Apparently, somebody checked in whatever state or location allegedly this happen, and there was no report of it. But who knows so? I don't, I don't believe the context and I don't believe the video, but here we are what were at a point where nothing's believable just now, so when I saw the video, I didn't think it was true or false. I just serve ignored it, but it became a big story. So I guess I'm past leaving things are true, because video, how many of you immediately think of video is real and how many of you automatically say probably not even if it's a video, I'm kind of getting to the point where any video looks like to me like, as my default speaking of fake videos,.
You know the famous picture of prince was the andrew, the one who was photographed, hugging, Virginia gm, free or whoever it was the Epstein, the young Epstein. We're slash, woman and apparently Maxwell is saying from jail, allegedly Thus she believes that photo was photoshopped and that she has no memory of those two ever being together. Now she is not denying the the general scheme of things, so she is not as she's now saying that that those two weren't part of their operation, she's saying that that the photos- not But that the two people were actually part of it, so if she were denying that two people were even there,
then I'd say: ok, that's that's! Alot! I'm not sure I would buy that, but she's something that they were both their but maybe a different times, and she thinks was a fake photo now. Apparently, some experts think so too there's no array, you know nobody's ever seen the original and some some people would know how to spot fakes think it actually looks fake. Then I looked at it today and you can see that yeah there's a hand around her waist and looking at the hand- and I thought to myself- you know I could actually see that as fake yeah, I think she was
It was allegedly seventeen than the photo. So so what? What do you call a seventeen year old? Is she a girl or a woman? What's the standard on that? Obviously, legally, she is not of age, but a young one. Let's go with young woman yeah young one young woman is better at young. One girl just seems too dismissive, alright, and so the biggest news yesterday, turned out to be me, so I just had the weirdest experienced last day or so here. You are probably aware that I declared that the un vaccinated the unclear
if vaccinated or are the winners of the pandemic, that they got the right answer, because if I had gotten to this point, where you know I'm a crime is even decreasing and if I could be unvaccinated I'd have one less thing to worry about right. So compared to how I played it, I got to the end of the pandemic, but I have something in me that I don't know if there could be any long term. Occasions if you got to the under the pandemic, and you have nothing unusual in you and you also are alive. I conclude that you were the smartest ones fair. But here is the interests they little happened. I totally didn't see this coming. People people showed me so much love and less.
Day and a half I've never seen anything like it. No, you me or maybe you're unaware of it, because most of it came in like dems and privately and stuff, but I did what would happen if I wasn't sure what happened when I said that publicly, but it turns out it was all positive There were, there were a few people who you like were a little niggling about yeah. Why didn't I get there faster or what took me so long? But basically everybody was happy that add they. That shift in public opinion. But what is weird is that I didn't get any pushback from what you might call pro vaccination people. None! Is that weird, not a thing? I didn't see in the article to criticize me nothing now or alex birds and had some sniping words, but he was
Is that what I said so so, even even usable, you expect to be your biggest critic was, like me, happy least where I ended up by now. It was interesting thing. A number of you said both publicly and privately to me, There must have been really embarrassing for me to do what I did to say that the on vexed are the winners. And other people said it must be a difficult day for me. I spent really hard for me to say that people said you know. I must have thus been tough from my ego. and others wondering what it was like for me to be eating crow. Did anybody think I had a hard day for the last day to have how how many thought I was having a hard day. I was having a great day. I had nothing, but compliments all day now
The other thing is people wondered how hard it was for me to make a decision like did I agonize about it? Let it let me tell you honestly god this is. This is a completely true. I didn't think about a much. I think I thought of all of five minutes oh, you know things of you. now. We know more where things keep river killing themselves and small beds and we seem to yet sorted the under the pandemic. and I was just sitting there are one moment. I thought, oh ok time to revise my. revise my current understanding of things it took know it took no work at all. I had no friction we have that because I think you're putting yourselves in my seat and you're saying this would have been hard for me. It was out at all. There was no
and do you know why there was no friction. Do you know why You know I was so easy and it was only a good day It was easy because I was never contradicting myself. I have always said that, as as information becomes available, I will reassess my beliefs and I have always said that on anything and everything that, if I'm wrong, I'd like to be wrong in public, Because what I primarily, what I do is talk about how to adding eliza news. He's getting the right answer. Now they did it, you're in analytical process, and why did it beat this analytical process? So, if I, if I realized something wrong and I'll, tell you about it, this is what I do like I do have I had
obstacle. I had literally no obstacle to changing my mind in public because that's that's the environment I created, so I didn't have any any risk. But it's interesting that many of you thought that it would be daring and brave to change my mind about something and public. It's easy. It's really easy! Now, the other superpower I have which I talked about a lot fact, my upcoming book. I talk about this kind of it. If you can learn to be free of embarrassment, it's like a fool superpower, because you today, like by twitter followers, are way up. My my traffic here is up. Everybody complimented me yesterday
but what I did was something that most of you would have considered terribly embarrassing, but it wasn't me I really didn't care like it never occurred to me and honestly, it never even occurred to me that I could be embarrassed, never even thought of it. While it wasn't part of any of the variables at all. It's just not part of my life anymore, and if you can get to the point where you can reframe embarrassment out of your life, it really is a superpower. You can just do more stuff, just do more stuff, so jake shields, mutton, it couldn't have been, must not have been an easy thing to do, but jake it was really easy. You so easy The reason I buy you're that some things that I learned from the people got all the right answers. Would you
I need to spend more time, tell you how wrong I was now right. My critics, were you like that right here somewhere so yesterday. I think I suggested that Everybody was operating by guessing. Yes sire. I sat in the early days. Basically, nobody could tell what was real and what wasn't real but I was corrected. So there were a number of people who did not give vaccinated and they said, is not guessing as not at heuristic is not this not just that. We didn't trust. The government is that we did a deep dive but we did our research and the research clearly showed don't do this, and so, since those are the people who got the right answer, I decided to look as was said. For example, Chris Sir Martin said lose a phd. He got the right.
Answered and here's how he describes it he goes. I use the science data and deduction to arrive at my own conclusions. Now I thought I was doing those things, but apparently I wasn't, but here's how to do it right I'd. Never. Took the vaccine because I couldn't resolve. One major question in the question was why every vaccine manufacture, use the quote whole spite protein construct s very weird. I miss that Did you? Did you all a catch that because they use the whole spite brodie.
Lot of. You probably were thinking. Well, it's probably just some of the spike protein or a little bit, but somehow I completely missed that. I think it's, my lack of scientific training that I didn't realize the whole spike protein would be the mistake. So here's another one override them, The others with one other work now they want to note to oh here's, one from the cabin the curtain also in twitter this is someone else who got the right answer and by doing research. So listen to this. So here's something else I missed a very. A glance at the sequence of the vaccines demonstrated enrichment of quadruplex jeez, the lethargy quadruplex jeez. The din existence
virus. This is data. You chose to leave me that I chose to ignore. That is correct. I completely ignored, and I hope none of you do this. But I ignore the enrichment of quadruplex genes and I completely miss that they use the entire spite protein. So thus you baby, Probably a blind spot, I have caused by lack of scientific trading, so I won't make that mistake here, but The interesting thing is that the smartest people are the people I think we all agree on is that the smartest people. Are the ones who don't have this. You know chemical in them the vaccination at this point, because the via the pandemic is widening them, they be the smartest, but have you ever the very thought? Who would be the second smartest if we can all
ray who got. The right answer is those of you who were still here and go out a vaccination. You so called vaccination. But who is the second smartest group? I think this here's what I used to think- and here I was wrong again I've been wrong about a lot of things, so here's where I was wrong and I thought the second smartest people would be people use the same reasoning as people wouldn't give vaccinated some concern because they did a deep dive, others, because their heuristics of hay, why do they have so much legal protection and why don't they give us more data? And why did they rush it? So those people? You also got the right answer, but I think
The second smartest people were the ones who avoided the vaccination and then died of covert. So the second smartest I thought were the dead people because they use the same reasoning as the people were alive and there the smartest people, so if they all have the same. Smart reasoning, the second smartest ones, are the one who died, but. here's where I was wrong. I found out yesterday and spaces that there are a lot of you. and I believe it or not? I didn't know they're still. Yesterday I swear to god. I didn't know the still yesterday, but a lot of people believe the pandemic. Never happened like actually didn't happen as it. Nobody died of covert as an actually nobody died of government.
Zero people died of covert, they never happened, and I didn't know there was a real belief. I asked honest to god. I did not know everybody thought that. But I do all survey on twitter and courses unscientific, so I said: do you believe covin shots protected every category Well- and here I was looking for- I think we mostly agree- the young people have more cost and benefit from vaccinations. That's that's sort of the current thinking among the public anyway, and but I thought that the public believed that at least old people got some protection from hospitalization and death. But I asked on twitter and fifty three percent said nobody got any benefit from the shots
and then they don't mean they don't mean that the side effects are worse than the protection. They mean that nobody was protected in any way, even even temporarily. So twenty three percent said yes, the shots gave somebody some protection. Twenty four percent said maybe, and three three percents said: no so have the people will follow me more than half believe the entire pandemic was fake and then nobody died or covert interested. So I would like to support their point of view with my own hypothesis. How could it be? How could possibly be, though we would have access does because we seem to if there were no pandemic, while some people are saying, is that vaccinations themselves
and I don't know one way or the other I can away and then whether non vaccination girls, I been wrong about everything. So far, would you agree As wrong as I've been about everything so far, if I don't have any, data one way or the other, I'm not going to say is is is or is not the vaccinations, but would you agree that that hypothesis exists as a possibility. And it s right, it is a rule there is it There's no way to rule out two thousand has been studied to death. But I'm gonna give you another interpretation which you have not heard in which all of the excess desk could be explained without covered and without the vaccination
I can do that and I know that, but I'm gonna give you a vaccine. An explanation is way more probable, waymore. way, more probable them either covered or vaccination injury or the two of them add together. Will that is my challenge, and I shall do it.
Right now, you've heard of the placebo effect. Of course, you know that if you're testing any kind of drug that as many as thirty to sixty percent of the people who get the fake drug that doesn't do anything thirty to sixty percent of them actually have a benefit with no drug now, do you know how science explains, how that's possible? Do you know what the scientific mechanism is, that somebody will believe something both work and that it actually works in the real in their actual body? Do you know how the placebo works scientifically? Do you know the explanation? Nobody does no bullet belief as a fact, but how the belief of trance translates into a physical response is unknown now. Have you ever heard of a no sibo is the same concept as a placebo, but instead of believing that the let's say the pill is good for you. If you
well, yeah that might be bad for you. It could actually hurt you. You could actually injure yourself by belief that the pill will injure you when it's just a nothing pill. That's a real thing. So the placebo is where you get a fake benefit, even though no In the real world should make that happen, I will is where it hurts you, even though, that drug couldn't hurt anybody. And let me say again: science, No idea. Why no idea! I know why Or I know what the most likely explanation of why as we live in a simulation and people and not everybody, but something like thirty to sixty percent of port, spencer players, the NBC, is just do whatever the pill does, but the player,
are actually creating the reality and then walking into it the reality they created. now? What are the odds that we live in a simulation? But I don't want to recap that. But if you listen to you, I must really listen to me now that the odds that we are a simulation and not an original species, probably a trillion to one or a billion to one So if the odds of us being the simulation or you know a billion to one cause, there will be lots of simulations for every original world that makes simulations. So while we could be real as possible, the the odds are just astronomically. It gives them. If we were a simulation, could you explain, lucy, boughs and no seabirds? Yes, you could, in the context of assimilation, perfect sense, because it also explains affirmations, positive thinking and why people who believe they live in simulation, keep getting better results. I tell you
I believe I live in the honestly. I believe this is a simulation, that's my actual opinion, but my life keeps turning out like it could only be a simulation. My actual life is so unusual. It couldn't possibly just be organically happening it just does it possible and elon must said that he believes its a simulation. There's nothing about his life, that what's ordinary. It looks like he's just creating reality out of his mind and we're watching him. Do it so here's my here's my connected get altogether. Did you see a I forget where I saw it? I think it was a rasmussen of rasmussen poll. They said that republicans were more likely to believe they knew somebody who had been injured by the the shots than democrats.
Do you believe, that's true. Do you believe that if you asked the republicans would say yes, more likely, not everyone, but more likely, they would say? Yes, I know somebody was injured by the vaccination. If you ask the Democrats, they say no, but I somebody's got long covered right, democrat You're gonna believe long covered. Republicans are more likely to believe acts. Injury. If we live in a simulation they're, both right, they both can be right. It can happen time as long as the two stories never have to be resolved and so far they don't so far you can you can live and procreate and go through your life, believing that no pandemic even happened, that it was all fake or you could go through your life thing. He was a deadly pendant.
Like when people die like crazy and you can live right next to each other, you can have jobs, you can even marry each other and it would all work you just you just have to have kids and then society goes out. So it doesn't need to be resolved and the only way I can explain these different worlds that we seem to be experiencing is that we are a simulation and the people who expected vaccine injury talk themselves into it and created it. The people were expected long covered talk themselves into it and created it as a reality, the people who believe that no pandemic happened lives that reality just happy as happy as by.
The who or what is in control the simulation would be whoever created it, but they probably did a a hands off kind of things. They can see how it see how it plays out, so it's probably not hands on, except for you know, tweaking it or adding themes or stuff and who created the creator. We don't have to answer that, but if, if it's true let let me see if I could just backup now and see how much I can get to say yes to do you agree that the policy both in the nose he bore a fact, are so well demonstrated that the real like there's something going on there you're all agree with that right and what you re? The signs doesn't know what it is and they look
A lot is like one of the greatest mysteries, it appears and I'll just say appears that the people are are simply changing. The reality based on their belief of the pill, is what it looks like to me. It doesn't look like only their belief is changed. It looks like their actual reality changed as well looks like to me. It doesn't look like the brain magically produced chemistry that makes you healthy. I think you could do that, but I think this will happen because. if science would find that right. If the mechanism had been your brain that changes your body chemistry, we would see that that would probably be easy to spot, but they can't find any mechanism. There's no mechanism
worse emulation? We have to be, and you should look for this effect everywhere everywhere. People expect something to happen. What often happens, let me tell you something I expect you can see if it happens, the the book that I'm just editing and finishing up now it'll come out around september. I've never made this prediction before because it's a belief this more of a belief. I thought it was going to be the most important book in the world and not counting religious books will give the bible and the qur'an their their own place, but of just books. I actually think it's going to be the most important book ever written, because it is nothing less than reprogramming. It's like a software upgrade for humans. It's actually written, you know and I'm a hypnotist, so I can figure out and do this stuff is written like a software.
They just update everything about your social life. Your sense of success, your health, just an update, it's going to it's going to actually make the world spin. Now, let's see if that happens. So the reason I'm doing this is to give you a little love, I dunno little easter egg or something where you could it ok. He did say that thing, which is really really unusual. Think about how how unlikely that is, because my last books, you know, did not change the world. One of them did, I guess one of them to change the world, but that so just track it track it, because I believe I can make that happen, because my brain thinks it's going to happen, and I haven't said that about my other books. There's this one special in a way that will just blow your fucking head off
I think pressure so we'll say so. I think excess desk could be explained by the following things: number one drug overdoses, away up right, and drug overdoses or way up, which really means drugs away up, which probably means that explains why the more car accidents and every other kind accident. So every kind of accident is up. His drugs or up. I would also say the people were out of practice in commuting when you that the people who didn't come you for two years and then can you were suddenly suddenly anna practice. I think that actual makes a difference, because I can feel it lay. If I don't drive for a few weeks, you feel rusty should be like everything else. If you don't do it for a while, you don't do this well so received a drug overdose. Is you ve got a car accidents that could be lacked a practice plus,
or drugs do it. We found that the judge will see what the homicide rate among I read this today among young black men was nearly ten times higher than the overall firearm death rate in the us and twenty twenty one, and so some of it is order. Violence is up. So I think murder is the number one cause the young people of death and sentinels gotta be up there.
so everything that kills young people is way up and then even even the people who make the so called vaccinations are saying that they do have side effects. So, even if the vaccinations were just as safe as the companies make, em watch wants you to believe even they say kill people and we did a mass massive vaccination.
