All, let's get straight away the big news? Over the weekend, yeah we learn how to dunk boom turns out. You just need to make the net a little closer to the ground family, one think of it all, and also happened. Cnn projects Joseph are, buying Junior is elected. The forty six president of the United States was jubilant as people flooded the streets today celebrating from the White House to the West Coast celebrations industry in New York City, the Tri state and across the world on the streets of the largest cities. Today apart,
and President trumps Hometown New York, City Biden, supporters shouted out your windows, there were bands and champagne costumes in tears. An impromptu dance party broke out, he had sweet, Caroline sing along and none. I now goodbye sing along what a day, what a day they. Now people were out in the streets dancing, they were partying. This was an amazing weak and it was such a festive atmosphere. The Saturday was amazing have also happy even corner viruses. Like me, are you guys have fun I'm take.
The day of the now kidding I'll journey, and now I'm not now. But yes, that's right. People this weekend kills a reality. Biden was declared the forty six president of the United States- and I note, was tough waiting for days to get the final results. but it's actually cool them happen on a Sunday morning, rights because think about nominal happens in one Wednesday. Aids is gonna be at home, but now people could soak it in. They heard the news while they were out with their families or going out for a walk or getting coffee, I mean one guy even found out on the golf course pray
in triumph was not asked the White House when he learned he lost it. He was golfing in Virginia driven home passed his critics cheering no matter what you think about Trump. I think we can all agree that that is a terrible way to find out that you're fired. I mean it's bad enough for your boss to toy. You cannot your desperate. Can you imagine if, on the way to your desk, the entire office was lining the hallways to bore you get out of here, Jeffrey Accounting, battle will now do you branch, and you know, I think the worst part for tromp was having to see millennia. In that crowd, you saw could go away forever, don't come back the laws already tougher. The secret service goes because they trained to God the President physically.
not emotionally, I mean so they can help him at all. I can protect you from a bullet, Mr President, but only you can protect your feelings. Oh so who surprised that he learned that he lost while he was golfing? Don't trump is always coffee. There was a most likely option if they should present Trump learn this. While he was volunteering at an orphanage, then be shocked or does know my mind. Is our trump could keep playing golf after he got this news. He actually wonder if he's got partner found out first and then use it against them, just as you are taking a swing by anyone. You know a part of me actually wishes. The trump didn't hear about the election until he got home, because then he would have been driving pass that crowd going. Look there wasn't my best game of girl, but you guys don't need your boots for once. The big Legal use was not about Donald Trump, so, as he disappeared into the White House Bunker, it was time for the people who were kicking out to come forward
and take their bows workers hard for those who didn't vote for me as those who did ledges glimmer of David Hesitation in America. began to end here now. Why item about you guys, with after four years of having some listen to Trump, a normal presidential speech Was- was almost wid? I was listening to. Like weight, so we're not blaming anything on Hilary? Nothing, let's be honest at this point I bet even how do people want Biden too low in the temperature? We mainly because half of them are running a fever from covert still, though, I am sure that they were happy to hear buttons. Let the grim demonization begin to end, although I do like how Biden didn't say, let's ended, he said, let's begin to end it
they will be too dangerous. Just stop demonizing all at once. We ve got to stop being enjoy each other in this country next week, but for now what love is going? Our mission, Carl's has usually notion, looks like he's got bologna fingers, but the truth is Biden was calling for healing and he was promising to work just as hard for the people who did not vote for him as the people who did and after these last few years I think that's my sentiments. Look truth is the country so divided? I dont know how that would work in real life is binding, really gonna, try and cater to both, because everyone is so far parts. I'm gonna listen adopt about you and then, of course, I will bear them and to reach across the aisle. I will find my son Hunter and lock him up at my good president or what
the point is people its genuinely gonna. Take some time getting used to speeches that sound like speeches but otherwise for binding Harris. It was a flawlessly choreographed evening well, except for one moment when a confetti coming, went off and based on the cannons, react doesn't look like they were expecting it cheese that was terrifying. I'll know about you, but when I saw it the black part of me in the movie theater came out of the game is actually something I think we need to address the planet, people we have to stop celebrating with things that sound like gunfire. Fireworks, confetti, cannons, popping champagne corks all of it. Half the time like quoted something good happen which should going down. I don't need to be started like this any more people, and neither does Joe Biden blowing
things. Mr Joe Biden at this point Joe Biden campaign should be wrapping him in bubble rap and storing him in the attic until inauguration day but the twenty twenty campaign now over see that in many ways this election was America returning back to Normal America, black President's, then it had the opposite of a black president's, and now it's back to a regular white dude national, except for one major advice this meant for the first time in its history, America has elected a woman, as vice president, a black woman whose also an indian woman and no matter what people think about Common Harris her in
is a major step forward in America's quest for gender and racial equality. Forlorn this historic moment in time we turn to our very own dosage loan. Don't say a black woman is in the White House. A black woman is in the way. This is that's great lowest ever, especially after we had two hundred years of all white ass. Vice president, they even look the same. You had you knock off, Warren's Yeah decree produce would have driven white band, the beta been around back then, and the more recent years you had guys that look like the football coach is of the losing team. I mean look at this guy. He looks like a Photoshop and all the police, but together was even real, do say, that's Joe Biden. He was all bombers vice president, really that must be our all picture. Evens like a baby and speaking of which haven't Camelot, as has the is great for Joe Biden too. She smart
experience and as long as you they're Republicans, I'm never going to impeach him. He destroyed a self Lorna and the GEO P would be like still can't raise their black lady, be president, was gonna, stay gangway, obviously do say: I'm still amazed that Joe Biden picked commoner after that debate. Wish totally blew him up now understand that Trevor, sometimes you get roasted so hard waning. May you just like all anyone who's got a push like that. I need my bad plus PAMELA brings balance to the administration she's, not bided, she's in a more progressive lay and should be able to drive down that lay without special glasses. You know what actually struck condition. Is that part speech where she said that her being vice president, is a powerful symbol for little girls in America because they see themselves represented at the White House. Well, yeah people get too caught up and representations.
Hello them sometimes Trevor and that's not enough. We don't just need a commoner. We need policies that ensure a girl who looks like Kamel up, but also lies in the hood also has a path to success. Just because, as he's the one who looked like me in a hallmark movie doesn't mean Agatha boyfriends Christmas, going on to re point Ocean Mistral a lot of work to be done. Pro Trump protesters, echoing the president's baseless claims that the election, and was stolen. He would have to do a lot. Only get one of those are these guys kidding us. This was shown batch shit. I court Cornerwise just listening to it. You telling me that the crafty Democrats have used their Saint turning powers to steal the election, but for some reason they didn't steal the Senate, because what they were, using the free version of satanic powers and taking the Senate is a premium feature that, when you think about this, America's whole system is rigged to help Donald
the men lost by four million popular votes and still had a chance to win the electoral college. How does that make sense? Only present doldrums should be met. It is himself because he started on third base and still somehow lost the game. I looked. I think everyone agrees that if there really is voter fraud, we wouldn't want that to decide the election, but Guys Donald Trump always says that this vote of fraud. In twenty six He said it about every single primary, then he lost, and they even said it was the reason that he lost the popular vote. It's never been true, and this is what is missing in the courts have also been like yeah Donald we're not buying it. The president's personal attorneys has vowed to continue filing lawsuits, even though they don't appear to have any clear path to two hundred and seventy electoral votes, and they ve already face a string of court losses so far as judges keep saying that these allegations are just not supported by evidence. You get that the Court of law, you gotta, provide evidence in the case of they brought in Michigan
summarily rejected by the judges, and you don't have any evidence. It was based on hosted. Not I'm not kidding on a positive note, with an unsigned note, saying they're telling me to change the addresses yet ass. The difference between Fox NEWS and courts in court, they ask follow up questions even go as far as usual. They screaming Joe Biden stole the election, but in court they ask how I gotta I gotta posted note honestly. I wondered this Trump have even one lawyer Who knows the law because it feels like all the people. He knows. He only know them because they specialise in the criminal code that may have been charged with. I need someone who knows ROD Jimmy you didn't chime, protesting right, you're on the case, but he just do what they did you seriously of post it.
even if you want to get on Judge Judy for property damage case. You gonna have some photos of a dense and hood, something not letting you on tv just Chauvelin posted nobody is. My hundred girl asked up I mean come on guys if all you got is bullshit evidence and these make an exciting bullshit evidence for coming up with a lot of posted note be like well if Joe Biden stealing the election, then why do I have this used condom in my pocket? I rest my case. nobody should be surprised that these guys are losing these cases with this kind of evidence calamity something now, if you will Episode of law and order, when the posted note there will be the shortest episode ABBA I submitted to evidence, is posted
The case dismiss so with the court's skeptical. The campaign had to take their arguments directly to the people and honestly, it might have gone better if they chosen a slightly different venue, The Trump campaign held a press conference to challenge the election results at four seasons: total landscaping in Northeast Philadelphia. Some people suspect the campaign intended to reserve the four seasons hotel, but accidentally books. This landscaping, company, located between a cream forum and a sex toy store, trumps lawyer, Rudy Giuliani was speaking when he was told the election had been called for by what was a call by all than oh, my goodness, all the
words. Why all the words, though, guys cover? How is this real big houses? Real? How are you gonna hold a press conference and a landscaping warehouse between a crematorium and six twice store? I mean as a general rule, if you ever out declaring war, you don't do it twenty feet from a dildo In some ways it makes sense, because if you ask people what halfway between a pawn shop and crematorium they'd, probably say when Giuliani and by the way
I have a feeling that Rudy Junior uses that sarcastic response a lot's. I'm sorry who wants me to put my clothes back on everyone. Oh wow, everyone. Every single person in this Danny's wants me to put my clothes that got now. The campaign says that they did mean to have the press conference at this menu, and I hope that that's true, but it really just sounds like trumps illegal team accidentally booked the wrong. Four seasons, and if that is the case, that would be so sad. I mean you know how incompetent, U r B, to get catfish by a landscaping. Business also Elam how the real four seasons tweeted, that it has nothing to do with them, because even hotel chains or try to get away from Trump. Now I've been motel. Six was like a scumbag. You grossing out. Our bedbugs also feel ready before anyone who was inside that sex shop. During that
this conference, because imagine being in a SEC shop and then seeing every camera in America putting up next door. Now you gotta hide out an ado lost of six hours. That's a long time to pretend to be browsing. Who is this? The edible underwear escape gluten free, yeah yeah, they ll outside you. Do too samples So, even though most of the world has accepted the Joe Biden will be the next president. Donald Trump is Katy planning to drag out this fight for weeks and his people are behind him all the way. Well off.
All the way, despite no proof to support allegations of widespread fraud or illegal voting in the United States, some of his top republican allies backing the president's refusal to concede. At this point, we do not know who has prevailed in the election of the media is desperately trying to get everyone to two coroner Joe Biden as the next president. But that's not how it works, has not lost, do not concede most abroad. That fight hard private tribe is one hundred percent within his right to look into allegations of irregularities
and way his legal options. Privately. People believe that it is time for the president to conceive the election. It is true that German Kirshner has approached the prisoner, concealing the election, and then my colleague reported that the first lady has also talks the president eggs about accepting the fact that he has lost its election to Joe Biden. Basically there all just waiting on the president to come to terms with what's happening. Yes, Madame Bosnia and Jared are reportedly trying to convince Donald Trump to come seed, although Maloney has definitely working her own hustle. At the same time, no, no, you have to concede Pennsylvania, this is by than the one, and they also said our marriage isn't valid. I know is dead. This season the people have spoken and those for Jared Schooling, Trump,
being told to grow up by a guy who's, never gone through puberty. That's gonna hurt so grateful Jarrett either, because, MRS just yet another impossible job Trump has given him to do our. I chaired it's your job to convince me to concede the election. Ok sure it's time concede a shared view. Creepy mannequin catch me. Have you cared so maybe tromp will decide to concede eventually, or maybe such action doesn't really matter either way, because it's not really his decision to make Joe Biden is going to become present on January twentieth and trumps. Opinion about that counts for exactly one votes same as any other votes in America, and I know it's hard to believe. But after all this time it looks like reality has finally caught up with Donald Trump, where I'm going to take a quick break. I had the honour of speaking with the legendary civil rights icon, Ruby, bridges, Ruby made history sixty years ago, when an aged six, she was the first black students to integrate an all white elementary school. In New Orleans, we talked about her life story and whom you book, inspired by young activists to continuing the fight for racial justice, Ruby bridges, welcome to the daily Social listens, ensure. Thank you so much man. We is truly an honour to have you because You are one of those people who doesn't seem real in life. You started your life as as as a young black girl in a place where black children could not go to a school that had White in it, and, and- and you talk about this in your new book book, which is really really beautiful and enlightening. But what was it like? Being a child in a school with white teachers and want to teach you white students didn't want to be with you why parents didn't want you in the school and yet a white teacher was the one you talk.
So affectionately. Who came in and said. I am going to teach Ruby bridges everything she needs to learn in the school and deserves to learn this war being six years I had no idea what to expect the only thing my parents tried to tell me Ruby, gonna, go tender, schooling about behave, and that was really the extent of preparing me for what I saw but living in Orleans, I was accustomed to migrate, you know, and I were screaming and throwing things and waving their hands and that's what happens at minded grass. So you know what really protect me. The innocence of a child, I really didn't understand what was happening until I got in of a school in months into it, you know. Finally, you know was able to connect with some stones that were being hidden from any longer. I said I can play with you. My mom said not to play with you, because you Nigger, and so I started thinking even right, then that one of my mom said: hey, don't lie with him because he's a
Then he is India and his mixed race he's gay eads. You know white, I would not have playing with it. To my mind, he was explaining to me why and play with me. So we did hurt my feelings, but I was never angry with him and the fact that every day the parson ingredient me was a white woman who looked exactly like the crowd outside I came to realize that she look like them. Was it like them? I shall make a heart. She may school fun loved being at school. I knew that if I just got out of the car asked, the crowded inside of my class, I was gonna, have a great day really because of her showing me her heart. Knew that I couldn't judge her the same way as a people outside. So I always tell people that the lesson she really taught me
was that there is absolutely no way you can look at a person and judge them by the color of their skin. She told me, in a less than the doktor came tried to teach all of us, that you have to judge a person by the content of their character, so that was the most important lesson I took away, and I wanted to dedicate myself to trying to explain that to kids so that they know that racism has no place in their hearts and in their mind, they no trouble. If we're going to get past on racial differences, it's going to come from our kids it really does seem like Americanese that more than ever, especially right now, you know because more divided than in some ways, its ever been in the modern era it feels like there is no end to that. Despite the election, ending one, you choose to release the book now. What are you hoping to achieve? I saw exactly what everybody else on the money
in writing I, before our very eyes- and it made me think about the kiss it I've been speaking too for the last twenty five years, trying to convince them that We need to come together that racism doesn't have a place, and yet this was happening and I felt like and of sense I'd. Let them down, maybe I'd. Let them down the wrong path because look what's happening and I felt like I needed to be able to talk with them, because they're probably sitting there thinking long. This isn't what Ruby. Has been saying to us and I have some very good people. You know that very this to me, and I spoke to them about it, and they said why don't you write a letter to them and that actually what this book is? It is mine better to young people, the young people,
when I saw you know, take to the streets to. Let them know that what I saw. What I witnessed with. exact same behaviour that I saw when I was six back and nineteen sixty during the summer ice move it. But you know we went through that. We had to go to that end. It brought us to where we are today, and that not was their turn. That they need not be afraid That is growing pains, and I do believe that if they come together because that pass the past sixty years and brought us together right, you know we are able to be in school together we place force together, we enjoy the same music. It brought together, not as close as we need to be, but it's on them now to pick up the torch, to carry it to continue to do what they do to move this country forward and said that.
This book is about when you look at the state of schooling today in America, in all the legacy of segregation lives on all those not officially mandated by the states. What do you think needs to be done to try and create system in America, where schooling is equal and kids are able, to interact with each other in these environments where they should meet with each other before they become full blown adults and then meet their first person of color or white person for the first time the very scenarios school it we're talking about. You know it, by Hurricane Katrina, then restored. It Million dollar school in an inner city neighbourhood, I fought very hard to restore that school. I wanted it to be an integrated school. It is,
aggregated, it is all black. It totally goes against my work in what I believe, and I was told that you know, policies that we can't choose kids by race and put him in a school. In other words, we can integrate school and I looked at them little. You talking to me you're telling me that you can't integrated school. Yes, you can. I did it
And we can do it again, but we we have to want that. We have to understand how important that is for us to move this country forward, and so we have to if they don't know how to do it, then go back to nineteen. Sixty pick up to the rule book, you look at it. I figure it out, but we need to do it again when we bridges like so much international show- and I thank you for an amazing book at that time- is truly powerful in so many different ways.
