I have an update today to start with about an investigation that many of you have been asking about going all the way back to at least March of twenty twenty one, although may be further. I remember certainly talking about it. In March of twenty twenty one, we ve known that republican congressmen? Matt Gates has been under investigation for a number of different possible crimes, including a sex trafficking of under age girls. And he lowered up with some of the best sex crime. Defence attorneys, in the country. Quite frankly, we ve been expecting crimes to be charged. At some point,
then nothing has happened, and many of you have written to me as a David. What's going on now, of course, I know nothing other than what is reported, but we have a new report from the middle of this week that not gates Ex girlfriend has testified to a grand jury in the sex trafficking probe, suggesting that by all measures we are getting closer to actual charges against Matt Gates, no guarantee, but listen to this report from NBC Congressmen, Matt Gates Ex girlfriend testified Wednesday before federal grand jury investigating him for sex crimes. A major development that suggests the d o j may be moving closer to indicting him, the Ex girlfriend, whose name is being withheld to respect your privacy, has been in talks for months with prosecutors about an immunity deal. Can you imagine his ex girlfriend may be liable for current criminality in once immunity under a possum
deal. She would avoid prosecution for obstruction of justice in return for testifying in the investigation into whether gates and twenty seventeen had sex with a seventeen year old female for money and whether months later. He and others violated a federal law prohibiting people from transporting others across state lines to engage in prostitution. Legal sources, familiar with the case say gates, is being investigated for three distinct crimes, sex trafficking. The seventeen year old violating the man act, which prohibits taking women across state lines for prostitution and obstructing police obstructing justice importantly gates, has not been charged with a crime gates is denied all accusation sing he never paid for sex. He never had sex with a minor when he was an adult. He is called the investigation. A witch hunt the Ets
Ernie forgets Ex girlfriend TIM Janson declined to comment about the case when he was spotted by a reporter entering the courthouse in Orlando with the client. A department of Justice spokesman, declined, comment. Gates did not respond to a request for comment. The investigation has lasted more than a year. It started when a former friend and ally of Gates tax, collector, Joel Green. was charged with a host of crimes from falsely smearing political rivals is being a pedophile or pedophile to change to cheating taxpayers in a crypto currency scheme to sex trafficking. The same seventeen year old girl in gates, investigation, green, has agreed to plead guilty and is cooperating with federal investigators. Unimportant ass
fact of the article here is the serious nature of all of the things Matt Gates is being investigated for now? We don't know what's going to happen here. This might lead to nothing, it's clearly not over, and it is Matt Gates own Ex girlfriend who ultimately might provide the testimony or might provide part of the testimony we just don't know yet that leads to very serious charges against Matt Gates. Now what about removing Matt Gates from the House of Representatives. If he is charged, you can find a number of different commentary he's on this, it is typical that if members of the house are charged with fell, chinese ah, that they resign ye. They could be forced out, although whether the Republican Party would be interested in doing that regularly. If they take over the House of Representatives before charges are brought. If they are
that there is a lot of questions here, but very very serious charges. It's not over. Will he eventually be charged? We just don't know by. We could be just weeks away and all we ve been saying that for a while, we could be weeks away from finding out the answer to that question. This weekend. Donald TUSK, is going to be speaking at a rally in Arizona. I will be covering that rally. One of the people that is reportedly speaking alongside Donald Trump at that rally is now other than my pillow founder, Michael and Del unknown to us, as MIKE Pillow Lyndal says, he's going to be one of the opening acts at Donald Trump January fifteenth rally in Arizona and expect sixty thousand people to show up. Why do I mention that, while someone who is going to be appearing alongside the former president of the United States, is now claiming that he has evidence to imprison
three hundred million Americans further actions related to the twenty twenty election. Are, you might say, wait David, Sir. only two hundred and fifty eight million adults in the. U S. As of twenty twenty and of the two didn't fifty eight million, not all of them, not nearly all of them actually voted, doesn't matter. Pillow says he has evidence to imprison three hundred, some million people take a listen to what he had to say. This is the stuff of insanity. Every thing you're gonna she over these next seven months right, get rid of the machines Issues Supreme Court case coming out all these great things, everybody by the way fine we're afraid, speech darker well put out the loud put that out there. There are so many I more optimistic today than I have been yesterday that it I'm inclined like this. Why? Because it's so amazing all the things we have. We already have all a piece of the puzzle and you talk about evidence. We had out the enough evidence to put everybody in prison for life for three hundred, some million people.
wait. We are there all we back to November December. He has the evidence to put Three hundred and seven million people in prison for life now before we get back If you're wondering about that scratchy, weird voice that he has. I will mention that our friends Zachary, Patrice out from the daily beast reported about that yesterday and says my pillow, CEO, Michael and Dell, has come down with a severe case of Quote Laren Genus, and he added in a comment to the daily beast. I can't get covered while citing his consumption of an unproven covert nineteen drug he probably has covered is my understanding of that, but more important.
evidence to imprison three hundred something million Americans for life. So if there's only two hundred and fifty eight million adults. As of twenty twenty he's talking about imprisoning every adult who voted every adult who didn't vote and then forty two million children so things going very, very wrong for MIKE Lyndal in all all senses of the word likely has cove, and again claims he will be speaking at the Trump rally this week and now it will be covering the term brow, and many of you have written insane David. Please cover the Trump rally. Others have said David, don't cover the Trump rally. I'm gonna cover the Trump rally. It is fascinating. You know I I just cover what is interesting and I am fascinated to see: does the topic of vaccines come up at the rally and dust Trump get booed Trump has been pushing the vaccines pretty hard
of course, everybody needs freedom, but pretty significantly pushing the vaccines. Is he going to get booed in Arizona for promoting the vaccines is Trump going to make an announcement about two thousand and twenty four is Trump going to make any announcements about support for Candida in twenty twenty two is Michael and really allowed to go and speak alongside the former president. Given that Almost certainly has covered right now and also is completely out of his mind, and humiliating that he's even allowed near the president made its it's all completely crazy, so I will be covering the rally if it's not interesting to you, just don't watch it that that's my mandation, but I will be live on Youtube, twitch and Facebook, starting at eight p m Eastern Saturday, from expected to speak at nine p M, meaning he will likely speak between P, m and midnight- I don't know he's always he historically he's always insanely late to his speaking engagement. So that's going to be this weekend.

here from some people in the audience you can call in the discord, David, Pachmann, dot, com, slash discord and we're going to start today with Clark from Portland Oregon Clark go you're on their David. I was just wondering about what you're saying and was on lowering the voting age. Obviously, you know teenagers pay taxes. Many teenagers can be emancipated from their parents and was wondering what your stances on that and also if you thought that ever be pushed through Congress. I think there is not a desire to have people be able. devoted aged sixteen or seventeen which General John only when people say lower the voting age, they mean sixteen or seventeen. Is that what you have in mind? Yeah yeah? I think that there is a case to be made for that. I think it is widely seen as being better for the less than the right with you.
assumption that those sixteen and seventeen year olds are more likely to vote for Democrats and Republicans, I dont know if that's actually true. I think that that something that I would want to find data on, I I am open to it. I think seventeen more than sixteen. In theory, the truth is The brain is not really fully formed at at that point in time. We know more and more about that. Its part of the reason why worse in some places, push smoking a dinner, the aged buy cigarettes looking at twenty one instead of eighteen. I'm not necessarily looking took to lower ages for things, certainly not for for driving and in fact, as someone who got my license when I was sixteen and a half and thinking back of my friends, driving It doesn't seem crazy to raise the age to get your driver's license to seventeen or eighteen, but I dont think that there is much of an appetite among lawmakers to lower the voting age.
Yes, certainly I just don't stop to see, especially with all these I'm crazy trumpets that are probably a lot less educated than some sixteen year olds. In my circle, yeah in sing like like these guys, probably can make a much better and more informed her decision that a lot of people out there, but there is no doubt that anecdotally, there are lots of seventeen year olds that would but much be much more. located as voters than many adults that boat regularly. That's without a doubt a great thanks, David, I'm glad you got here opinion on that point. Thank you so much for the call. There is a Clark asking about lowering the voting age. Let's go next to deal in from Massachusetts, Dylan your on their idea of engineering. Yes, I can like Ireland.
as you know, the rules, but we're going to try to get get to the question I get. So what are we to see some sort of national Healthcare credibly and try to be implemented? What sort of model which I personally want to see Oh, that that's really tough! I mean here, here's the thing there. so many models that work. Will you have to start with your price? already and then work backwards. So universal access for me is a must. Affordability, for me, is a must and when you prioritize those too Its conceivable that quality may not be as high as you want, but obviously we we want all three of these things and it's kind of like a push pole with which Ray Reinhardt wrote about in his in its most recent book before he passed away so
I think there is a lot to look at in the german system. That's interesting, I think, the nordic model is interesting. You know when people just say Medicare all and forget about it? There is no debate to be had I dont know I fully agree with that. I dont think Medicare for all is a panacea and I think a lot of people who say Medicare for all. They actually mean on a number of different configurations that that could he possible, but I have a long clip on this, which looks out. I mean there's. No one answer for me is the point, and one key issue as well is my answer. If we were to have one federal system might be different than if we say this would be done at the state level. Ya mean my press, Albanian Canada or look at Germany early a centralized. Citysearch lies, yes, I think so
depending on a number of different factors specific to each country. There are merits to all of these different systems, all of which are better than the one we have in the United States. Interesting. How do you think they all react to the government taking a law orange resumed? in public health. I think we know the answer to that part of the country would welcome it and part of the country would say that its fascism. Do you remember when you build applause, you tried to ban is certain like a thing. It was one gallon or one leader, jugs of Sudan. From being, old and keeping in stores. Wasn't that looming work? I don't I don't remember the blog YO doing it. I remember Bloomberg doing it might have been key I just remember, it was interesting to make use of all places New York city? Would me ok when these things and interested not, meanwhile, will wonder
things about that. Is you your kind of hurting, sadly, you're hurting the poorer people, because, typically in when you buy juice and soda whatever in larger quantity, you're paying less per hour. So when you say no more, sixty four answers, only thirty two's usually buying to thirty two Zizmor pensive. So there was a real argument to be made that it was disproportionately hurting poor people which, which is literally true. Yes, that's how I just just I see any sort of like efforts by the government to make the public health is not knowing supermarkets since you know paralysed how people like cast son steam, save people should be nudged rather than forced into making those decisions and there's a lot of behavioral economics behind it which many on the left right office? Centrists nonsense, but I think there is there's a fair amount to be taken from
These are really really important topics which have a lot a lot behind them, and I appreciate you calling about. It makes ready thing inserting investing in my pleasure. There is Dylan from situ, sits unimportant, call on a number of important issues. Let's go next to S. De from Dallas, Texas, SD you're on the air. I David thinks thanks for doing my call again pleasure, so glad couple months ago. I forget exactly, It was. I called in basically talking about. All the gerrymandering was going to be that all of these like register. we're going to break, The city easy. What needs ends to my surprise, it actually has been going is poorly as I suspected flag. Many looked at this like I thinking
leaning on his name and guiding the wash them first? He said it was basically a wash at this point, so my question is dazzling said: would you can Would you consider like Duma reason taken for granted that identical you're going to lose the house in the Senate for concern drawing. Would you consider a soft form, a voter suppression you're. Let me see if I understand you're saying to go around saying Democrats are going to lose its a form of suppressing the vote, because if you convey Democrats they're going to lose? They won't even bother voting yes, part of it. Yeah yeah, I mean you know this. We ve looked at this on both sides that there was a time work,
like. You know Trump and other saying they're gonna rig it don't even bother and then they would come to go back and forth. No, no, you should vote and that those special Senate elections. I think that its unclear to me that when people are told that they're going to lose that they actually dont vote, I think it's just an empirical question and I haven't seen it I if people believe wrongly believe their side is likely to lose. Are they actually less likely to vote, or do they become more likely to vote? I dont know the answer is something we could study and probably get an answer to Yeah, like we study so much the forms of hard voter suppression yet like when it comes to strict voter idea. and it seems like even that really indeterminate like whether or not that actually has as being an effective, the ever serve Pesetas yeah, but then again It seems like the larger entered in a larger factor. People's motivation like actually go out and vote
which is why I'm kind of concerned list. I go away, all that soft voter suppression will the opening is even in saying we're, gonna lose it's like you could be saying, we're gonna lose, don't even bother voting and you could be saying we're. Gonna lose unless we all go out and vote in. Those are two very different things. I agreed wealth understand. Sensitive like like ours, said well, I think you're take my called give it my pleasure, my pleasure, a good do a good topic and glad to have the opportunity to talk about it. Let's go next to mark from Lausanne. Phyllis Mark your on their alone. Can you help me yes again
globally by motives again, I am I asked before I call before about Stacy Abrams and the whole thing happening at it was Georgia. So what do you think? First of all, I would like to make two or three questions. What happened get and getting? What do you think's going to happen with new binding, like talking tough lucky, really wants to perform filibuster, actually get us get kick a voting rights for past. You think that's gonna. Actually happen, though, is a small talk like a reconciliation. Go you know what I want to be optimistic about that. I have a really hard time, believing it's going to happen because reforming the filibuster you need all fifty senators and Joe Mansion doesn't see, like he's gonna, go forward it and neither does Kyrsten Cinema. So I ate its feeling, like it's just
Talk I don't know I want to be proven wrong, but it would show matching kind of said, like oh you'd, be open sea too, to making a talking fellow bus bustier, but she can do you think it's just you know my language Bethink uses both the Maoist rebels Reconciliation bill. The most recent thing I saw from mansion is, he said: he'd be open to making some mutual changes. To the filibuster, which sounds like he sang mutual with Republicans our on a really know, I'm just not sure, but listen if you, if it's just an even money bat, do they change the filibuster. I feel like they down yeah yeah, I'm feelin yards from just after this after Moroccans reconciliation go I'm just prompted myself for disappointment, Thea Area also. I want to know why you think people I worked for a union act like literally lights, like almost fifty percent of that of my members, Arkansas
if, even though republicans and can serve as were the ones who put forward right to work laws. Remember when Mitch Mcconnell, when they were talking about reforming the filibuster, Miss MC I'll meet this threat, any may keep threatened to do two things. One of them was what was Only a national national variety, which is actually in the other, that the voting rights bill now it's just that it's more a loser version of voter idea, where you don't have to give some idea that you have tabled a bunch of people working in money to get yes at email, national right to work law sets literally him saying a dream. You don't idea for Republicans and yet yet you know like there are tons of union Brazil vote, for I don't get it it's it. It is bizarre and there's this weird thing about unions were is now we're, but it's a notable thing for a very long time The union's represented
a mostly democratic voting group. They weren't, like grass sieves in the modern sense, but they were just gonna like middle class centre, left Democrats and now there's been a big move away from unions ideologically and there's a lot of people who are vocally against the idea of unions, but there still part the union. Now some of them would say I have to be in the job I mean I'd rather not I'd rather not pay the dews, but you have this weird situation. Were you Republican Union members who love candidates that are and everything union stand for, but there still in the union and some would say I have no choice, but there is definitely a a bit of an inconsistency there? You have it it's ridiculous, because I'm a stage hand in our union,
We make way more money than the people who are not union represented. I mean why would they are very, very union member state hands with full time jobs were making six figures and more so they are crazy. I'm itself there's that and see what else do I have to say almost, and so we have so many people waiting. Let's, let's keep it to those two questions. I think those were good. Let's go out on top. You know what I mean. Ok, let's go on a positive note. Ok, what I love you David! I subscribe costly watch and I finally got to go we began Martha. Thank you so much greater here from other guidelines. Very good, ok, wow! Well, let's go now to Eduardo from Brooklyn
New York, hi David? How are you I'm doing? Well, thanks for taking my call, I obviously watching everything that's going on. I have like a more so why macrovision of things are going on a question I have for you is: is there any surf entity or anybody? That's kind of taking task of like all these rubicons, that we keep crossing that we're not going to be able to come back from me somewhat like what examples that do or you referring to our name just the minimum. That's example coming top of my head. Is you know the idea of like claiming anything that does not agree with you as fake news, and things like that? I think that's it. Gone. They got crossed yeah. I dont disagree with you, that's become I mean I think, there's a couple. One is the acceptable treatment
any media. You dont like in this completely hostile way that Trump started with Jimmy Constance, yet in calling any news, that's critical, fake news, questioning the role, else of any election. When you don't like the results, you say that the election was rigged, that sort of a rubicon that I feel has been crossed. Yeah I to your question. I dont see the Republican Party backing off of those tactics anytime soon. I think they're here to stay right but e O. My my question really is I we keeping track of those so did like. Maybe if I don't say cross three will become pawns in like one through because we didn't in others, so many going on at the same time, I mean look we're trying to we're trying to, and I what you know, one of the good things that happened last week on the anniversary of January six was a whole bunch of people. Wrote articles sang the
selection and coo it's it's not really. Over they're gonna keep trying it Jimmy Carter wrote a peace and a bunch of people Brook no Trotzky was interviewed about it. So I think there is an effort being made to keep track, but it is really tough guy- and I appreciate, like you, know, like yourselves, Fino, Farren, Dollimore, those guys like the other key people to task. I just worried it like you. Just in Iraq is a part of like more of an equal back like echo Box, then yeah yeah David now, keep on doing what you do, and I appreciate all your effort. Thank you so much I appreciate you calling in a we're going to take some more calls, but will first take a very short break. If you're holding on to talk to me- and you still, Talk to me, don't hang up we're gonna be right back

The link is in the pot cast notes. Let's go to Dean from Dallas Texas Dean you're on the air. Save us pleased in her. I can hear me yes again. First on collar, long time lesser. I wanted to ask think, with the ongoing pandemic, having a massive impact. Most on the elderly when it comes to fatalities, that there will be significant extension to the social security. Seeing as you know, more more people are buying in and you know they won't be able to cash. It took
I'm not sure I know what you're talking about your will social security be extended what do you mean yeah I got the the estimated for when Social security runs out of money. Oh I see also are you? Are you saying, is the money gonna last longer or our that have to wait longer before they can start getting social security rights the money gonna last longer, for you know, cause is projected that people like me on the younger sites won't be able to even collect cause it all long run out of money by then listen though those predictions are heavily disputed. So but I wouldn't even NASA early start with that, as the expectation of where we are that that there are many sick, Its analyses down of the Social Security Trust Fund, which say it's it's it's not gonna run out there there may need to be Syria, during which people pay and a little more ordering, which they might get out a little less or have to wait an extra years, but the it's
all run out hypotheses. My understanding is, have been pretty widely debunked in terms of the active covert on that I dont know the answer to that. It's a very good question, but I think it's it's something that it has got to be studied by experts in that field that I dont know that we're gonna have all the data until we're really out of the pandemic right. Well, thanks for taking my call for my pleasure appreciate the court yeah. That's that's really indoors. Question. I wish I had an answer. I wish I had an answer, but I don't: let's go next to Jack from Indianapolis Indiana Jack You are on their David area, I'm new! Well, yes, on every kind of in looking at the way things are going on in America right now you and on you know a thing about it. Is that and you can't depressing- and I think, like water wire followers
so much if you know how I can do is vote. I mean yes Evan that also do some music. That is about these issues. I police brutality in government corruption, stuff like that but I was curious if you had any recommendations, as far as like, I think they call civic engagement. You're saying what can you do other than voting? Is that more or less what you're saying basically air? There are so many things I mean, listen. First of all, with technology the way it is now you can participate in essentially any race. You want to buy phone banking and fund raising remotely. If that's what you're interested in doing that. That's number one number two really important to understand that you don't have to attach your activism to individuals. You may say tat. Your activism. Excuse me two issues there might be a regardless of where senator is at the local level. Where you live, you could fit.
you're out- oh, you know what there's a conservation commission in my city or town, I'm gonna get involved in that or if you care about literacy. Most libraries and library systems have ways for you to get involved. I think the first thing is: we ve got a kind of disabuse ourselves of this notion that their art that many different ways that that we can get involved. There is community radio and community television where you can get involved, essentially at no cost depending on where you live in most parts of the country. Did there there's really so much, and so the first it's almost like, there's theirs much, and you got to figure out. Do I want to work locally or at the state level? Do I want to work by helping ended it or do I want to work on an issue? What do I care about most education, the environment, cetera? There really is no shortage of ways to get involved. Ok, you don't make sense what where exactly is
banking and one day is very simple? You bait there's now their systems where, let's say you know, let's say it's John Betterment, verses, Mehmet OZ in Pennsylvania, Senate race and it's a few months from now it's the twenty twenty two election. Even if you don't live in Pennsylvania, you can sign up to phone bank and basically, you can sit at your computer and you'll. Get it'll pop up in little say. Ok, here is a believed democratic voter call them ask them if they are planning to vote, call and is it so you can be it's basically all done through software. At this point, and no matter where you are, you can start making phone calls for any candidate. You want most candidates assuming that their set up with these phone banking systems, academic sense really that's about it thanks for me on my pleasures, engagement, so many ways to
involved there. There is really no shortage, no shortage, it's almost an embarrassment of rich of riches. Quite frankly, let's go next too. I believe it is. It pronounced they don't from. Is it when a peg, I'm not even sure yeah? Can you hear me? Yes, I can. Are you didn't miss Bracken? I'm your well yet so Winnipeg we're just in Manitoba, Canada, blood, it yeah. So on my question was about how do you choose what to cover because our profits Swift, Elsner lot of like the new media, landscape, lotta breaking points, its foresaw, insider, powerful and ski whitey stuff like that is worth yourself, and I find that down like, for example, to I d will focus a lot unlike donations from big. Like companies.
Into politicians and how that runs, the political landscape. I've noticed the do you find it tend to focus a little more on like January six stuff like that, and I was wondering what makes you find that that's the most important thing that you want to cover its not this. Is it beautiful question Vedette how old, how old the guy you, by the way, I'm fifty ok. I had a feeling. You were a younger guy, listen, you are asking really high level questions here, how you owe you? I think you have upper management written all over you as we like to say in the United States, here's some here's the bottom line. I dont have any secret algorithm or anything about what I'm going to cover get to cover eight stories a day, more or less, and basically what I think about is what do I feel like talking
today? Where do I have something to add on a story? What does my audience? What might my audience be interested in hearing about, and is it time, sensitive and music? The end, if so I just want to say here- is the eighth things I want to talk about today. I have all these different possibilities and I'm looking at you know I have a list of journalist Cypher on twitter and I'm all sort of newsletters and its basically just what do I want to? share with my audience today. That's really at the reason for me talking about January Sixth, significantly, because you mentioned that is the right is trying to rewrite history on what happened there. I think it's an incredibly important sort of before and after event that has come to change the direction of what we thought the right was willing to do or may be thought they were not willing to do, and I want to do everything. I can to remind people that really wasn't normal. We still haven't gotten a full understanding of.
Everything that happened on that day. So that's why, like in the last ten days or so, I ve been talking about it, a lot to answer that specifically ok. That makes a lot of sense. Alan. This one is just a little more of a fun one but, like I was wondering like what do you think about Canada? Have you been up here? If so, like what places you visit, I love Canada I have to say the overwhelming majority of my experience is. In Montreal. I've been to Montreal probably twenty times in my life. I grew up going. There have been a bad been so many times. I love it. I've been to Toronto, it had less charm but a beautifully organised kind of less european city. If that makes sense in two different story, I have also been to Otto will once I I don't wanna insult Otto about I remember very little about it. It did not spire me and in any railway and
I'm real I've never been to cut back city, but I would like to go us as soon as it, sir, reasonable and safe, but I love Canada and in particular in Alma B. I love France and so going to come back. I just enjoy it significantly. I'd sure. I'm sure I went for the first time this summer just involve my brother in college, and that was really nice Ok, what Mcgill Miguel MC gives great the gills great! That's that's fantastic will. Listen, it is the correct pronunciation of adopt its evade aunt. They dont in weight is what what are the oars. Of that name, I'm so it means eternal knowledge and sanskrit. So my family's originally from tunnel now, do which is the southernmost province of India, amazing, amazing. What listen! I I appreciate the call my friend thank you. Some I'm great rescued are, while what a polite young man folks, what a polite young man that is, that is really something else. Ok, let's
I Eric from CAN Coon now Eric Happy New year, I want to. I want you to get right into your question. As you know, we ve struggled with that in the past. My friend go right into it. What's your question today, high David, read you something I grow. Did you read, it says on those Republicans can be trusted and part of maturity. If they're not Dade didn't use, cartoons has real world it. Samples also became friends with cartoon characters. That might be because Republicans can neither be envious were intimidated. That's as industry have a higher moral levels in them. Does not forget the measured tailoring went to portray the real deal, Scooby do monster and when Fred wasn't asking the monster
be comparable s comes and the incidental attack on fighting the you remember well Eric. I have no idea what you're talking about. Did you just read something or is there something you wrote? It is something I grow danger writ discord. It's about. Republicans wanting to use cartoons has real examples for politics. You remember when major television went abroad, The green new deal less Scooby the monster. I dont remember that I dont remember that no and they were using means indeed in the Senate,
floor, I remember means on the Senate floor. Yes, that I remember you sound than they were in begin fights with doctors, all senses and street. Yes, I remember that, and I can, I don't think they wouldn't be mature enough to focusing real politics is they're using cartoon, says real world examples mean a sum that will be the job of allocation actual cartoonists. Not in those whom, which has, with the laws that cynics incredibly astute observation Eric Eric. How is the weather in Cancun? I, if anything, burn I like it and in winter and song, and whether you think they would go after next like give me or total network, because you belong to that.
And then he made them planet on my little pony sure Eric Eric from can Coon always unblemished. Every phone call is absolutely perfect. I really appreciate hearing hearing from you wow. That is really really something else Let's go next to Roland from Vienna. Is that Vienna, Austria.
Tat it is David, cleaner mean I can hear you fine perfect. Yes, yes, yes, I agree with the previous collar. I don't think it's because day. That's the only way they can formulate their thoughts, but the Republicans the right wing in general, as we ever we hear they speak the language of the internet much better and they know it. They know to use it to the full. There listen it's better than left us now. I think you're right, I think you're right listen, I call them was before and I drop in s bomb. I want to excuse myself for that, because you asked me the question about whether I like cappuccino- and I quote that I quoted Jimmy from feeling had said F your cable China right. So I wish briefly to my first point:
want to congratulate for you for a peace. You brought out in the summer with doktor and unblinking eyes, name where you talked with the doktor and with Jimmy from Philip Code doggedly. Hang out your outlook canosa that man is a euro. I listen to some of the other stop he does with these. Kids are online, yes great, and very revealing invariably feeling about the motivation for four words where Jimmy comes from yeah, so What's it at one point, I want to make two points, the first one being how Putin seems to be. We know trumbull of them. We know our folks new sides with them. Yes, are these guys aware that whenever there is a mass shooting in Russia, doesnt assault, Rifle Ben.
they probably are not aware of that. No they should be put is one of the toughest guys. I'm gonna control because he knows the only way to control the population is when they don't have one with they always say now. So it's really ridiculous to see how they are falling in love with him when in reality here pushing a lot of things that they are not comparable with. Will it ridiculous for a lot of reasons and you ve just add one more and I see a lot of people asking you to go back and Joe Rogan into tell him what's up, and I think that from a general perspective, I fully agree with that. I've stopped listening, To be honest, I was never big fan anyway, I'm in the standing committees that that was a good way to get the news of the day in that field, but his hands a persona non grata. In my pocket street, while and specifically because this is something that he always pushes so I'm from Austria smack in the middle of Europe, we have socialized healthcare. All the hunters around us do we're quite happy with it, and I always hear
from a lot of conservatives, Republicans and all the enemy guys until Rogan everyone's guy. If you're in, if you're in Europe, when you break your leg, you need to wait months to get it fixed. I guess if you, if you want to get a fixed socialized health care that the that for itself, then you may need you may be on awaiting spot. That's that's true, but I am I'm guessing you you're not gonna need to wait months to be stabilized from a broken leg right. That seems crazy, though also you know, we do have a free market healthcare system as well right parallel. So nobody is stopping you from dishing out the money for out of your own pocket yeah. You can even get private health insurance. You can get a private hospitals, you can get hospital rooms that are like hotels if you want to pay for it. Yes, that and that's the big discrepancy if you want to pay for you, can have everything, but if you want to have it socialized, if you haven't free look, if you can afford it,
you rather wait for it a month to get the hip replacement, or would you rather not get it? You know, of course, of course, and I can really I can really feel- must have working up like I'm getting your whole and you're. Getting all worked up you, you need to go and have a cappuccino This time of day, but I'll have a nice moved them otherwise relaxing thing under are a good Roland from Vienna you really set at all today. they are either it is Roland from Vienna wow. What a perfect way to cap off phone calls this week. I am sorry I can't ever get to every one. But I will try again when I see you back here next week, one of our sponsors is called privacy. Privacy is a totally free service that I've been using for years. Will Otto fill a virtual card number and then, after signing up, I can delete that virtual card, so I know I'm not going to be charged again, something really useful and very practical or let SAM ordering food over the phone. But I my wallet somewhere. I dont have my real credit card on me. I can use a virtual card on my privacy mobile app, but really thus part is you're not out there expose. in your real credit card number so you're not as susceptible to data breaches and identity theft. Privacy is a totally free service and you'll get five bucks to spend. When you go to privacy, dot, com, Slash pachmann, you can find the law
in the podcast notes are right: everybody it's time for the most awaited and sometimes most dreaded moment of the weak. It's time for the mail bag, email us info it David Pachmann, DOT, com, spammers, people who abuse the email just get out o filtered into the trash. It's sad thing, but it does happen, some people he made every day more, the bull times a day. Don't do it nobody's going to read it it'll just get your band Lester jump right in, though, because there are messages that I would not describe as being messages of peace and love, user, no bs road in and said, why don't you go back to Argentina and complain about your own country and start a shit?
how to divide it, you're a weak, pathetic beta male who sold his soul and show for a leftist organization for money. Your end, perfect example: that's right, you're, an perfect example of everything that is wrong with the world today. Satan is your daddy. I take issue with the fact that we sold the show for a leftist organization or to a leftist organization for money Many have claimed. We are Soros, funded its thinly veiled, Anti Semitism, guys people claim are funded by the Dnc. I'm not even a Democrat. Dnc is never never given us anything just for once putting the xenophobia go back to Argentina aside for a moment just for
Once I would love to see a single one of these claims, backed up with even a scintilla data, I'm ready to hear it if you ve got it to present next one this. This is a bonus from Facebook. I love this that this will actually has a big backstory. Someone wrote to me: is it your show today and it's all entirely opinion, not news. Just ask why I know a lot of people write this because they have such lack of media literacy that they seem to think? I believe I do a news show now, as all of you know, if you ve been listening to the shower,
king it for many period of time. You know that I accurately characterize this programme as an opinion show. This is an opinion show and if any of you have seen my sort of knowledge pyramid where, if we want to be informed about the world shows like mine, should be equivalent to the junk food there more entertain. Meant that hopefully gives you ideas informs you gets you thinking. We need to have at the bottom of our pyramid. It's funny. You know it's sort of the opposite of of like religious doctrine. Words like we have the answers. If the opposite of Trump saying I alone fix it my view, as we should all have as a baseline, epistemological, critical thinking, media literacy and philosophy. That's our baseline. That then allow
just to go and read and learn about history and political science. We take our knowledge of knowledge and we go, and we study these areas. History, economics: all these different things, then next quad piece of the pyramid is news, reporting, actual report Associated Press, etc, and then, after all, that once you're well versed in knowing how did I know? How do I come to know the things I believe and studying what has happened in the past and economic theory and seeing what's going on? Then you throw commentary and opinion programmes that you like. On top of that, that's always been my position. I it's almost like I'm trying to put myself out of business but in any case it's funny when someone rights in Ngos, your programme is not news, its opinion. I thought you should know that. Oh believe me. I know the fact that so many people don't know is the problem. We have
in this country. Next email is from DAWN Don Road in about covert deaths. Dancer. Dear David, please refrain from your weekly reports on notable on vaccinated people dying from covert. Any fool can point out that many fully vaccine. people also have died from coded and you're one sided exuberance makes you appear petty and thoughtless. I have never been exuberant about on vaccinated people dying from covered, bring that to some other showed done, because that's a garbage palliation it in every, segment. I say for me these are funny segments. These are not I dont. This isn't good, so tell those that someone goes on to say you may not care, and perhaps you receive all critique as being some political assault, but you really should take a moment and think about how you're well earned reputation as a reasonable commenter can become sullied. Yours truly done,
well done. If you were making a criticism that was connected to the facts that I'm exuberant about these people dying, that would be one thing, as I said before, yes, vaccinated meat sometimes die. Your likelihood of dying, if you are fully vaccinated, is orders of magnitude lower than if you are and the reason that we point out these stories is the defiance with which some of these people say I dont need to worry. only exist among the Anti back to the people who go and get vaccinated re recognised, even if I'm not likely to get very sick. I want the protection. Why did I go and get my three doses, because I know I'm not likely to get very sick, but why chancet? I wear my seat belt. I use winter, fires. I would take the suit of armor if I walk through a forest with arrow swine, and so the point here is the defiance with which to the very end, they continue to spread anti backs and then they die and their own vaccinated. I completely take issue with the characterisation from DAWN Todd wrote in
the set of wheat? Last week we looked at the segment where a an anti facts right, winger model actress type person said that when she goes near vaccinated people, she has rectal bleeding, and I said that could be very serious. Todd wrote in and said TAT when I researched the strange anal bleeding the poor woman is experiencing when around vaccinated people. My research concludes. It's a new form of stigmata. If you air this on that your show, please don't play pizzas here or we have Kentucky Fried chicken. In the background I don't know, I don't even know what that means, but yet, if I googled Might I didn't know what it was, apparently its various sores and bleeding considered to be associated with some kind of religious belief. It's some kind of punishment. Some signal stigmata, like
if further sinning or something or Satan someone does it. Anyway, it's a Yankee, given that many of these people are Christians, you would think maybe they would they would chalk it up to two stigmata got another message: Alexa has decided it doesn't like David Pachmann greetings for the last few days, acts asking Alexa to play. The David Pachmann show the latest episode brings up techno music. I listen to it for a couple minutes yesterday to make sure you haven't changed your opening music. Unless you are opening with an extended cut I think the elects a programming, his guns, screwed up, I dont use slash, have Alexa. If anybody in the audience can replicate this, if you can get a video of asking Alexa to play the latest episode and playing techno, please recorded and send it to end oh it David Pachmann, dot com. We would really like to see that that that sounds absolutely hilarious. Devon wrote in now by the way for all the criticism
of David you're, an opinion show you're, not a news show. I always want to issue corrections when they are warranted. Devon corrected me about pcr tests. Let's look at what Devon said: how David, sir, I was watching one of your recent videos on Youtube where you were discussing pcr test for, and you mentioned, that the pcr tests detect viral proteins. I did say that Devon Rights, this is technically incorrect. Covin pcr tests detect the presence of viral are and a. I know you pride yourself on disseminating correct information. I figured you'd want to know you were right Devon. I did want to no love the show, keep up the good work. Thank you. Thank you. Covered pcr. detects. The presence of viral are an a I stand corrected, and I now at the altar
of the audience and apologize. The rest of the analysis was correct in turn of the meaning, the diagnostic value of pc? Our test, which has become unfortunately, the subject of yet more conspiracy theories. Lastly, Ryan Road in and says Sir David David, Sir have been a member almost as long as I've been listening almost a year now greatly appreciate your com and honest delivery of the daily topics. Keep doing what you do. We all appreciate it. Not all you should see my inbox, but I the sentiment over the long weekend. I was listening to some of your old interviews. While I appreciate the productive sane interviews, I've gotta say the ones with quote. Religious people are probably the most entertaining. For example, the David Manning Interview is just a total Jem, absolutely hilarious. I suggest the listeners check it out.
As well. Thanks for your work happy New year Ryan! Thank you. Ryanair. We keep sort of going back and forth about the value of in the wacky interviews a few months ago, We did one with Amanda Mackey and she was pretty cool for cocoa, but it does very well, but the reason I've gotten away from it is partially it's less entertaining for me like. Yes, these people are bonkers, their ignorant. I get it but they're so predictable that I've been more going in the direction of talking to journalists, writers, investigators, doctors, etc and number two I don't know you, I know some people in the audience like some. Don't I'm as I've said before, will continue Sprinkle in the interviews with the wacky people, but I've explain a little bit of why I've sort of gone away from it over the last few years. If you have a question for me, a comment, a thought: whatever you can write into info
