I want to start today as we have many in the last week and talk about the russian invasion of Ukraine, but I will zoom out a little bit and take a little bit more like a systemic big picture, thirty thousand foot view You know one of the goals of Vladimir Putin and Russia for more than a decade now in earnest, and you could argue really even longer than that is too weak in what seen as the West, the United States and Europe herb. You know you could sort of characterize it and in a number of different ways, weaken the west, make the United States and western democracy
look weaker or in question or untrustworthy in some way, and the general goal of this is to make Russia look better. In comparison I mean this is a very basic and sort of crude way to say it, but when you think about the three major superpowers, the United States, Russia and China, the worse any one of them looks the better by comparison, others look, and so, when we think back to the Trump era- and we wonder or or we don't really have to wonder- but we think about why Putin would want and benefited from Trump rather than Hillary Clinton being president and CHAOS Alec, Torridly and claims about voter fraud in all these things. Widest Putin benefit from that. Well, when you stepped back and look at the three major powers, if the? U S, look silly, if the? U s
stupid if the U S looks so ignorant that there are enough people that they would vote for a clown like Trump. By comparison, it makes Russia look better and why, One of the main goals of Putin in General is to make the the west and the U S, look worse and the most the more fragmented that the west is the weaker that it appears to be, and, unfortunately, for Putin his invasion of Ukraine has sort of accidentally or as a side effect unified and strengthen the west. To the extent that the West is now very clear, with some exceptions in aid
turn on Fox news. You'll see Propria propose Napa larger, but for the most part, Putin's invasion of Ukraine has actually had the unintended consequences of unifying and strengthening the west. There is an interesting article that you can check out by Holly Elliot on CNBC called Putin's always wanted to weaken the west. He's done the exact opposite, and the article actually explains. If there's anything, we ve learned about Putin over the twenty two years, he's been in power its that he is systematically and repeatedly tried to weaken and undermine them.
but in his invasion of Ukraine, he seems to have achieved the exact opposite, managing to unite most of the international community. In its condemnation of Russia's aggression towards its neighbour in Bremmer, president of political risk, consultancy, Eurasia Group commented quote: NATO is united more so than at any point since the soviet collapse, with a renewed sense of purpose and mission. So too is the European Union. Germany supports ending their economic dependence on Russia and is nearly doubling their defence spend France's on board. Even Moscow tilting Hungary has condemned the invasion favoured a cripple,
sanctions regime and is allowing in hundreds of thousands of ukrainian refugees refugees. The west is used to Russia behaving like a malign actor overtime. It's also widely seen as responsible for a right of. Rather, it also sees Russia's responsible for her vision, attack on Uk Soil and twenty eight teen and was subsequently sanctioned, and it goes on to explain that this may have been in a sense, the worst unintended consequence of what Putin is doing now: Putin Mandeb dead at the
of this entire thing, we don't know Putin manned up deposed out of power. We don't know, Putin may end up taking Ukraine. We we don't know at this point in time, but the way in which this has unified the west over the long term is not particularly good for Putin's bigger picture ambitions. Now there is another aspect to this which we ve, seen at the David Pachmann Show, and I've talked to some other independent media people and everybody. Seeing the same thing. Over the last ten to fourteen days, there has been a notable decline in a certain strain of bought type right wing rolling all over our platforms, I'm talking you tube, twitter, read it etc. There has been for the last many years. A suspicious amount of comments like I'm as liberal is then,
sky, but and then they use some like right wing argument to try to make it seem as though even left wingers are sceptical of the American laughed and was different stuff. You know stuff, like gum. Listen, ah, ah I I'm a foreigner- and I just don't understand. Why is having a meeting a photo idee such a bad thing for voting. You need an idea for everything else. All these repetitive sorts of messages that we see posted on all of our platforms. They have diminished dramatically in the last ten to fourteen days. Now I don't think it's because they are all russian trolls, but we know that Russia, A long time has waged pretty slick, a sort of DIS information type camp
panes online all over the world and shows like ours have absolutely been affected by them. If you look at any of our platform, that is down dramatically, it seems because they are of at least to some degree preoccupied with trying to justify this invasion of Ukraine, and does the next month's presumably will give us a sense of Israel
sure heading towards annexing Ukraine or installing a puppet government. Is Russia heading in the opposite direction of going in the direction of a truly failed state for a long time with a broken economy that remains to be seen. But Putin succeeded at calling into question american democracy when Trump One and then, when they fomented the big lie, ideas that trump one again and twenty twenty, even though we didn't he, he succeeded at that. He really did but without a doubt to some degree the biggest unintended unintended consequence of the russian invade and of Ukraine, is that much of the west is now as united as it has been in a really really long time. Putin may end up taking Ukraine, we just don't know yet, and I think anybody who believe means on the inevitability of one outcome or the other there's people who are saying listen sooner or later Putin's gonna get Ukraine. I don't think that that sir, something we can accurately say on the other
and you have the perspective that sooner or later, Russia's gonna get just absolutely crushed here and prudent will be removed, killed. What have I dont think that that foregone conclusion either. I don't think we know the answer, but when you see the west as united as it is, it doesn't bode particularly well for Russia, one other Russia, Ukraine story. I want to mention this made big headlines over the last twenty four hours in the headline is russian air strike has hit a ukrainian maternity hospital. The associated press is reporting. A russian air strike devastated. Maternity hospital Wednesday in the besieged port city of Mary, oh Paul, amid growing warnings from the west, that Maskos invasion, is about to take a more brutal and indiscriminate turn? Ukrainian official said the attack wounded, at least seventeen people.
The ground shook more than a mile away when the Mary, oh Paul, complex, was hit by a series of blasts that boy who out windows and ripped away much of the front of one building Vladimir Nicholson, Nikkolon atop, regional police, official standing in the ruins said today. Russia committed a huge crime. It is a war crime without any justice. Creation. This story alone is generating a ton of discussion about what what is the truth here On the one hand, there was the reaction that Russia is now deliberately bombing maternity hospitals, and we saw the hid in the air strike against an orphanage last week and against a children's hospital last week. So one perspective, it is their doing this on purpose, to wreak havoc and cause terror. The counterpoint was, it is of no advantage whatsoever to Putin to deliberately strike a maternity hospital. What would be the point? Obviously Russia
and think that pregnant mothers and healthcare workers and newborn babies are the ones waging war against them. So they would never deliberately hit a maternity hospital if they did. It must be indifference or lack of precision, however, that the latest that I've read is. Russia is claiming that the maternity ward was being used as a state as staging area for, ukrainian troops and volunteers, etc, and that there were not actually any pregnant women in the maternity wards at the time and that, when Ukraine says, are maternity, Ward was hit that its merely agenda, because everybody knows that it's actually a military staging area Dewey Damn it we know the truth, maybe maybe I I
certainly dont know it right now and I am open to it being any of the above that I just mentioned, but I think the most important take away from individual stories like this are that it is complete and total chaos and that this is still an optional, invasion by Russia, and so it's very easy. You know I look at these discussions that happen. Online and people are getting extraordinarily flush.
An angry with each other and adversarial over know. This was obviously deliberate. No, no, no. Obviously Russia would never deliberately hit maternity word. It goes against their strategic objectives and it goes against their pr objectives as well. I don't think we know, and one of the things that we are seeing is when folks get involved in the minutiae and I'm not saying we dont care whether a maternity ward was hit. Obviously we do, and obviously people are getting wounded and people are dying in seventeen wounded is supposedly the number from this particular incident. When you get bogged down in the details, the point is you end up fighting with people assuming that their good faith actors? Now, if they're just Trot Reno russian trolls pro russian trolls? Ok, then it then it's that that's a different story, but when you get bogged down in the in the specifics of what happened in this one incident, it's very easy to lose them
main thread, which is this is an optional premeditated invasion of aggression of Ukraine by Russia and when we end up arguing with people about would would rush deliberately do this if they knew that there were not actually ukrainian troops there or if they did order. We end up missing that big picture and that's the big picture that we have to remember and, quite frankly, going back to the previous segment. I did that big picture of an optional premeditated invasion of aggression by Russia to try to take land or to install a puppet government whatever, ultimately as Putin's goal. That's the big p.
Sure that has united the West and american allies and NATO allies. And so we want to know what happened here. We do and it matters what happened here. It doesn't change the big picture of what's going on in the region and I think that's the important take away. Let me know your thoughts. You can find me on Twitter at De Pachmann. One of the popular talking points
developed among the right wing media, including Fox NEWS recently, is that Joe Biden is making gas prices higher by not restarting construction of the Keystone Excel Pipeline and built into this entire story are misunderstandings about the Keystone exile pipeline is and what it would do, how long it would take to construct it as well as the degree to which President's impact gas prices, particularly when the vat price of oil is soaring globally and end. All of these things are being missed with really kind of it's- not even really pedantic they're they're, just confused talking points from right, wingers one example that we're gonna look out right now is Peter. Do see from Fox NEWS for days do see, has been hammering Joe Biden, Whitehouse Press Secretary General Saki about gas prices in the Keystone Excel Pipeline
and he seemed to understand very little about it. Not surprisingly, so, let's look at his first attempt from yesterday or his latest attempt. I guess we would call it from a press briefing yesterday on this too in point, and then I'm gonna tell you a little bit about the truth about Keystone Excel because like re area here is a restart the Keystone exile construction completely off the table as long as Jo Leinen, president wearing it we. What would I would help address new? I'm asking you guys say: all options are on. The table is restarting Keystone construction, one of them if we're trying to bring about more supply. That does not address any problem.
Is alive from Canada, a friendly ally, and so that all your badge already ledger we're already getting that oil Peter it's the pipeline is just a delivery mechanism. It is not an oil fields, so it does not provide more supplying the system. It does not address evil. Is it possible that job I will ever say? years ago I would construction of key size up. There's no plans for that, and it would not addressed any of the problems were having currently ok. So all of these right, wingers talking about Keystone, Accel, Keystone, Excel. First of all, as John Saki points out its merely a pipeline, it's not a source of oil, and canadian oil is already coming into the United States, the pipeline in can't buy it, and- and here is the most important thing now yesterday on my dream. I asked people in my in the audience: do you
I realise that faces one two and three of the Keystone exile pipeline are already up and running when they talk about Keystone Excel and when they talk about oh Biden, stopped it and Trump tried to do it bomb stopped it do you guys realise that it's just phase for of Keystone Excel nine? Five percent of my audience didn't know that and that's by design when the right says they ve stopped Keystone, excess we're getting. No oil phase is one two and three of the Keystone exe. pipeline are and have been up and running? It runs, I believe, from Canada from Alberta two Illinois and Texas and Oklahoma these pipelines are already in place. What's at issue, when people say Biden stopped, it is Biden, stopped construction of phase for and there's controversy and face for because of how it would go through indigenous land and the the indeed
Dennis communities that would be affected have not really been of players at the table in a that many of us in the United States think they should be so. Obama delayed it and then tromp tried to resume that construction and then Biden stopped it and ultimately tc energy. The company in place has abandoned it. So, first and foremost, Keystone exile is up and running phase. One is up and running. Face too is up and running face three is up and running number two is not a method of supply; it is a method of transport and number three, it would take probably years to complete. If you started that construction right now and it would be a very modest amount of oil relative to the total- U S need it's silly, bogus talking point, even if Biden said, let's do phase, for it would not solve the problem right now in any way, do see continuing to just use these confused different talking points here. Trying to do a gotcha around calling
gas price increases the Putin price hikes. Did you guys decided rebranding, be right and gas prices as the Hashtag Coon price hike, and if you want to use them fox. I welcome that, but I think he'll get a lot of airtime because we have heard the president warned for months to get prices were rising because of the supply chain and because of post pandemic demand. you guys from us that this was going to be the hashtag? Couldn't price hike where we just hearing was though, of course I mean against suck his answer, doesn't even matter again, a gas prices can go up at different times for different reasons and the wit when remember when gas prices started going up the end of trumps presidency and they continued going up when Joe Biden took over. It was a global phenomenon as a result of the resumption in demand with the
King of the pandemic. We now are seeing gas prices go up more and it has to do with expectations. Rubber oil prices are sort of a futures market it we are now seeing it happened as a result of what's going on in Russia, Ukraine and for supply reasons, etc. All of these things can be true, it sort of like if I wake up one day, and I have a headache because I didn't sleep well and then that night I bumped my head and the next day I haven't even worse headache. It be like war. Why did you? Why did you say it was because you were tired on day one, because You actually bump your head right on day. One. The headache was because I was tired on day too. It was because I bumped my head different causes can have a similar effect. One more example of the confusion around this Keystone Excel thing here is former Obama, economic adviser, Robert Wolf, on Fox NEWS, and he says this Keystone Excel thing would not actually fixed the prom.
We're dealing with right now and the Fox Anchor says. Well, that's debatable has no it's not! Our Second, a happy Robert, perhaps Peter just reported, perhaps opening up the Keystone pipeline is not off the table for the White House. What did you take away from that? think exile is off the table and, let's recall a few things, one, it's the worst type, a boy you can have its tar sands going from A burden to the Gulf of Mexico? It wasn't going to really change anything to do with our oil supply was to export from the gulf. Mexico also regret. Tromp. Let me just wait it's not actually debatable. As other, do an oil fields, it's a pipeline and was gonna end a Gulf of Mexico. That's a fact. You should look it up here. This is the problem. You know how I've been saying to you guys, one of the problems we have right now in American, no sort of the in the media meal you and in society in general. Is people don't agree about what our facts note.
The wording I'm using as very important. I'm not saying people don't agree about what the facts are. That would be like I think about it. I went with visible effect. I Inflation is gone up and you think it's gone down. Ok, whatever like that, would be a disagreement about the facts. People don't agree about what types of statements are statement of fact. The Keystone exile pipeline is something in particular, its not open to opinion what the Keystone Excel Pipeline is or where it would have been, or how much oil it would have transported or whether it's a source of oil. Or just a transport method. Those are not opinions. Those are things we can definitively no, and the problem is when the Fox NEWS anchors, as well. That's debate, It's really not. I mean you, you can make an argument that it something as you would be wrong. It's not a statement of opinion. These are statements of fact and just look at previous reporting about the pipeline from when Obama was president.
And that there are actually reports from back. Then that say face for a keystone. Excel could actually cause a gas price increase in the MID west in particular, because the oil would be transported through their, but it's not intended for american consumers that the reporting is out there, so they don't know as usual. What the? they're talking about. I want to look with you at some record setting clips of anew Donald Trump Interview, Donald Trump, was interviewed and to call it an interview is gonna, weird because it was just a fluff. Peace run amok the Orange see chair, who, I guess now has a podcast, she interview, Donald Trump and Donald Trump, I'm in a play. A clip for in which I believe in twelve seconds he tells for lies it it's it's it's record setting quite literally, but just to give you a sense of this bizarre interview, here is rotten Mcdaniel. Talking about how grateful has been to women. I know guys I
thank you for what you're doing. Thank you for being out there. I just have to fight. things, I want to say going to be fun, guys we're about to have fun and your son wonderful person. You ve been so great a women. Thank you for what you're doing Frumps been accused of harassment through assault of forty six women by forty six women, and she says you you ve just been so fantastic for women. Now here's the clip! This is seventeen second clip. Ronnie Mcdaniel speaks for five seconds, so Trump only speaks for twelve seconds and he tells for lies
if you can spot him, ok, here's its it'll be like a game show there and you saved hundreds of thousands, if not millions of lives. At that, when you know we had a nineteen seventeen hundred million people that we were of the same thing, so we did something that was incredible. We did it in less than nine months and was supposed to take anywhere from five to twelve years there and you got so, did you spot the four lies or misstatements their first? It's. He only spoke twelve seconds more like eleven, but the math is easier if we say to us He said that there was at a pandemic in nineteen seventeen. There wasn't. It was a nineteen eighty. He keeps telling that lie. We don't know why he's sticking with it number two. He says that if it weren't for the vaccines he developed, one hundred million people would have died of covid. There is no serious estimate that suggests that,
Number three, he says he's the one who got the vaccines done. That's also untrue. All he did was agreed a pre purchase some vaccines, which any american president would have done in this situation and number four. He says if it were not for him, it would have taken five to twelve years to develop the vaccine. That's not true with the vaccine that you build from sir ouch that was historically. The case am RNA. Technology has been in development for decades and the whole point of EM rna technology is, you can much more quickly sequence virus and develop that in about a year, which is exactly what happened for lies in twelve seconds unbelievable couple. Other clips from this interview here is Trump sang. Stopping Nord stream was the worst thing to ever happened to Russia,
History buffs will know, that's not true. There was never anybody tell for in Russia that I was now that's a lie also, and I would say that Putin would, if he was being honest, he would say that the sanctions I put on. I was the one that ended Nord stream. There was never any, but even closer Nord stream to them nor team to was the biggest thing. Nobody ever even heard of it until I came along complained and then I shut it down and there was never anything so big that happened to Russia's shutting down nor shame to, and they now Russia near the Soviet Union lost twenty seven million people during world war- two, and then, when the USSR collapsed, one of the just absolute and total economic disaster, I think its a bit exaggerated to say Nord stream to was the worst and biggest thing that happened there and then. Lastly, I'm says the following about how President she reacted to Biden pulling out of Afghanistan.
I think that's actually a big reason. Why he's in the problem you have with Ukraine, I think, when Putin and where she and when Kim Jeong Hoon and when the Iranians are watching that the array Nyan L I think they saw what happened in Afghanistan and I think that gave them a new sense of power and dignity. But what is the EU that it's a word salad? It's a words out. She got a sense of dignity from I'd in leaving Afghanistan it's out of this world, guys its complete Lee and totally meaningless, but notably four lies in twelve seconds in that earlier that's one lie every three, three. Second, that actually too I would have. If you said David, you have twelve seconds to tell
or lies. You need real linguistic efficiency to even make that happen and Trump does it without even thinking about it. We'll have these clips on our instagram, find them at David. prior to ninety. Ninety six, the internet operated under the same telecommunications rules as telephone companies within this went back to the nineteen thirties eye to this, day, if you're on a phone call with somebody in its actually being carried over cell towers. It's not avoid call us not a voice over internet call, because was for the internet or different, but you talk to somebody on the cell tower or on a regular phone. the phone company to listen in for the government to listen in for any third party to listen and they have to have a warrant. There has to a legal basis for that intrusion. in nineteen. Eighty six or the telecommunications ACT section to thirty I'm said we're gonna drop that for the internet, so that that's one piece of at the other is another metaphor. That kind of explain where we're out is that part and ninety? Ninety six, the rules for
who hosting sites on the internet were very similar to the rules for people who own a disco, clubs it up and danced for venues bars, restaurants or Europe, your home, I mean, if you David, were to put aside out in front of your house, said a big party on come on. It'll just leave the front door open and yours, and your living room Saturday afternoon, the sun's going down. There's this summer, re being a woman in the back room, there's there's a bunch of people shooting up era, one over in the corner. the guy in the other backroom who's who is selling illegal pornography and the police Boston They would not only rest all those people, they would arrest you as the host of the party right. You have a responsibility for what happens in your house that you know about, and that was this goes back to british common law back to literally the tenth century, so section two thirty of the telecommunications active. Ninety ninety six said that's still true for your house. It still true for a bar, it still true for a
Straw is still true for a civic center, but it's not true for anybody who build a house on the internet, and thus our executive became one of the wealthiest man in the world build a house, and he said: hey come on in and have a party Annie, largely ignored. The people. We're Shootin Heroin in the corner and selling. You know I mean it been started. They eventually started cracking down now. Obviously were from the beginning and on the obvious stuff, but even now, there's just coming the others do or the January six was largely planned on Facebook, and this isn't just the trash facebook, I'm I'm not in he's playing by the rules and that's the problem. I mean you know way in you have Capitalism Republic, the job of government is to set the rule so the capitals and can work in a way that and damage society and we have failed in that regard, the Republicans during the Trump era
talked a lot about section two thirty and some of them seem to think that if the platforms had greater liability for the content. That was posted, that it would benefit the right in some way. I guess because they believed that the left is regular, he defaming and slandering it and so on and so forth, but date they seem to sort of misunderstand the true impact that changing section, two thirty, which would have do they not yeah. You know, I think, the rights brace of changes. In section, two thirty came along with Donald Trump complaining about how he was being treated by social media right but somehow, if they repeal that part of section two, thirty, that you know four thousand flowers bloom or some either You know I've never seen the lodge again. Josh Holly actually wrote one of the better books about the horrors of section two
The last half of the book is may say most discreet about how liberals want to destroy America, but the first part of his book is a really good description of the poor. problems in what's going on and why and and you got people like run widened in other, my senator. in Oregon as one of the leaders of the to change section two thirty, but it is by partisan Josh, always on board too. and it was all it was a fair amount of money. That copies was vain us, because this was before section two authority and they build this house who spoke in this house before HTML is as before the web. As we know it today and common serve any a well we're pretty much the only game in town and so because they had built a house on the internet, they had responsibility for what happened in that house, and so we were the ones who were kind of the hall monitors and in nineteen. Ninety six, when section two thirty past. Basically they let us all off that was stop pain us right. If you- keep working but were no longer going to hear you know, did what there's progressive conservative and libertarian perspectives in terms of opposition to the sort of surveillance that that we now know takes place. But they're they're sort of different principles deserve like with flatterer. You talked of four flatter authors. They all believe the earth is flat, but for can
listening and sometimes very very different reasons and progressive conservatives in libertarians have different reasons for opposing that the practices that we see now Can you talk a little bit about that those different perspectives, winter reset two thirty years is more just and more generally whither seeing things well, I think to the extent that and were seen this, in particular with the with Republicans across the country, taking the screws on your right to vote that the the for lack of a better phrase, the police state aspect of costs. In my book I basically break out two kinds of big brother there's these. State big brother, which is what George Orwell wrote about, and then there's the corporate big brother, which George Orwell hadn't anticipated. and and which is actually at the moment, far more aggressive, or at least you know about the tip of the iceberg. Above I may add, Snowden Gonna showed us what government was up to, but so anyway,
The right seems to be embracing caught up the police state tactics for the guard of voting and and would be, or generally are more inclined to two ought to not so much embrace police state tactics on the internet, but to say that you know if, if the donors who are running big social media sites want to do what they wanna do they should be allowed to do at their justice, reflexive thing against regulation, libertarians pretty much the same thing I mean libertarian this made. The libertarian party was a scam, always created the nineteen forties by the real estate lobby as a way to provide a political cover for basically deregulation of the industry and you know they think of it- is as as a scam themselves. It still is to a large extent,
the idea that a country can work with nothing but the military and the police being provided by the government and the courts, but I think most- grants are slowly beginning to realize Your understanding, my party metaphor, really I mean this- is this is really what it is that you have to have real rules for the game. You know the NFL defines the rules for football and if the NFL went all libertarian the day they are all republican as it were. You know they could they would probably change their roles to say well, in which our team gives the biggest contribution to the guys on our board of directors gets an extra player on the field throughout the game. In a week We can tweak things that there is enough money involved in that kind of thing, let's, sadly, and and that's what they ve done in their Eu Average Scots.
eleven point plan promoting deregulation of the of the polluters are hedge, because their big campaign, donors to the Republican Party so regarding privacy in the United States I die. I think the dynamic is just very similar David when it comes to, in Europe we ve got the GDP. Are California pass the Consumer privacy ACT in twenty eight teen, so at least people know what personal data is is being collected about them are: are those types of laws significant and impact full, or do they give? People may be some kind of false sense that something is being done? They are significant They do have impact they they visa. That is those laws are why, when you visit websites that
I want to do business in California or in Europe. They will say, will use up cookies right. It is like a flower Agatha, its way of Saint well yeah. There is something called on here. We are satisfied at you are keeping track of your or maybe it is to help your experience. Some cases it is actually, but in any case, I think that that's that's something there. We need to really seriously look at is the a tickler, the european rules, and the one there's all chapter about this in my book in Europe that we definitely do not have here is the right to be forgotten this game about twenty eighteen lawsuit or maybe two dozen, a no I'm sorry to have to look up the year, but it you know there was a spanish guy who discovered that whenever he googled his name, he had gone through a rough divorce and bankruptcy back in, like one thousand nine hundred and ninety eight and lost his property losses, business
and when he googled his name, he was at a real low profile guy and when he googled his name, that was pretty much all that came up and it looks really bad on him. You know now impeding his ability to to up to get a date back and and and and and find a job, and so he he asked Google to delete that from their search things came up when his name was put in global, can laughed at him he sued in Spain? European Court, when, along with him and now you ve, got this this right to be forgotten across Europe. Whether if you dont like What is being said about you on the internet can't necessarily always petition individual websites to take down the content about you, but you can ask the search engines to no longer deliberate people and that's a pretty consequential thing and I know a lot of people in the United States. It probably very much appreciate that bridge thickly people who have been the victim of
you know. What's the phrase for win They manner outing in old girlfriends with porn pictures. Oh yeah, what is the term for that? I dont number, the term yeah revenge, porno, yeah, you're, afraid So any I that's something that we should seriously look at had as well. If fought last thing I want to touch on is the direction that Things have been going isn't resisted in some of the ways we ve talked about and that you right in the book, what what sort of at the tail end of it I mean. Is it the direction of like the chinese social credit system? everybody has some different idea of what they believe would be sort of it at the end of this. What what do you think would happen if this goes on opposed. We already have a business version: chinese social credit system and their accompanies the rag that they have ten fifteen twenty thousand.
Data points on every single one of us. They'd know our most subtle preferences they know of with, for example, providing information to accompany this trying to decide whether they answer your customer service call in two rings or in two hours he can tell that company. If you have recently browse the web site of that companies competitors. So are you one of those people is calling an insane had like that price match. While you get you get to wait two hours or if you are right, their customer of their kind, really really granular data, and some of which could be used to You know a basically harasser embarrassed people as well as to increase the profits of companies so and and and Clearly there are companies that specifically market in this country, should credit score does not just your finances is not just whether you paid your credit card on time
we're gonna, whether you ve never been arrested for drunk driving or whether you ve ever been in an altercation with anybody here. You know how you behaved online, in some cases, their selling, this information to employers, their selling, this information to landlords, their selling, this information, a retail companies, this alliance, company to companies, you notice to cell phone companies and airlines and everybody else who get calls from customers there's the potential for abuse is extraordinary, and I'm not That is not appropriate to do that. You know if I was a landlord. I would like to know if the person who wants to add an apartment, a trash, the last one and let her dog ball of ripe- that's not unreasonable, but there there have to be reasonable limits on this stuff in there are none right now.

Another one of these from pissed election clerk official type people has has.
indicted I'm talking here about Tina Peters. We have spoken about Tina Peters before county clerk who embrace the big lie. is indicted months after an election data leak. This this really the delightful story. Talking points, Reed's Tina, Peters, the republican clerk of Mesa County Colorado, who was long suspect did of aiding a leak of sensitive, election machinery. Data from her own office has been indicted on multiple counts, Colorado grand jury, as has her deputy, Belinda, Nisley or nicely according to the indictment, Peters and nicely allegedly devised and executed a scheme to breach security protocols that led to the distribution of conflict. she'll information from county election systems, guys the calls are coming from inside the house to carry out
the scheme, the indictment alleged Peters, committed criminal impersonation against the Colorado man, whose name was used for an access badge for county election offices. The charges against Peters did this is just the life of the charges against Peters include three counts of attempting to influence a public servant, one count of conspiracy to commit attempt to influence a public servant, weird weird language, but that that I think that's the way. The laws written criminal, impersonation conspiracy to commit criminal, impersonation, identity, theft, first degree, official misconduct, violation of duty and he'll kings had come. I with the Secretary of State that, if this guy's, if this is what they say, Democrats due to steal elections, others another article from ours, technical Republican County indicted in voting machine breach, arrest warrant issued Tina, Peters indicted.
Ten counts for quote deceptive scheme to leak confidential data This was long overdue. Tina Peters showed up. You know those pillow fasts, MIKE Michael Dell from my pillow. He was a big supporter of Tina, Peters and This is way overdue. There is a clip which we previously looked at on alive stream, in which she was arrested in public. It's just so delightful to see it, and here officers taken into custody she's, meaning let and now she starting to kick like gay like a threatened horse? so
He was publicly taken into custody. It was just fantastic and by the way she running for Secretary of state of Colorado, and she had the audacity to put out this video yesterday in the midst of everything, that's going on- I'm Tina, Peters and currently the clerk of base, accounting and of announced that I'm running for the Office of Secretary of State in Colorado, citizen, I've been crisscrossing Colorado speaking to various civics groups, including Republican Lincoln Day dinners and I've been so honoured by the overwhelming. spots, I'm running for Colorado, secretary of state. Is it wrong that I take pleasure in this horrible woman going down and either I am not one to celebrate bad things happening to people but is accused of doing not only really bad things, but she was part of Spain
being the big lie that everybody on the left was meddling with elections. It was Democrats, it was Joe Biden, it was whoever she He was involved in a conspiracy scheme per the charges related to elections, in her role as the county clerk. I'm sorry guys, I'm taking pleasure, I'm taking pleasure to restore trust. put in the air and you'll amount overweight and our election process thrust. We need to get back to honouring our colleague a constitution honouring our state legislature to craft laws to a representative government by the people she's been arrested. She has now been arrested, taken into custody
and it's all absolutely fantastic law and order guys law and order. That's the important thing, speaking of law and order, radical from pissed republican congressmen, Madison Car Thorn has been charged for driving with no license. Here's the key word a second time North Carolina congressmen, Madison Catherine charged with driving with revoked licence. For a second time, He now has a court date. Congressmen Madison Catherine has been charged with driving with a revoked licence, a misdemeanor that carries up to twenty days in jail. The twenty six year old people
can was pulled over March Third in Cleveland County about an hour and a half southeast of Asheville by the highway patrol, along with the misdemeanor Catherine, is facing two pending citations for speeding, indifferent counties. Highway patrol spokespersons sergeant Mark is Bethesda, said March nine. He could confirm that the three citation numbers are pending matters. The Cleveland County, stop happened around Shelby, Trooper Tyler, Gantt Sir twenty nineteen to Yoda truck crossed the centre line, not invent new put pretty reckless driving the driver was identified as David Madison Catherine. I guess as big as medicines is middlemen during the course
investigation. It was determined the driver's licence was in a state of revocation. He doesn't have an actual valid licence. He was charged with driving while licence revoked. They claim to be about law and order and they're not they claim that it's the left, that's doing all the election stuff, but it's actually them and in particular- and this is not a joke when it comes to motor vehicle stuff, you would think that Madison Catherine would under stand: the consequences of irresponsible driving unlicensed driving all the stuff he's in a wheelchair because of a car accident. He was involved in when he was younger, in which, if I recall correctly his friend the driver, fell asleep, and I'm not even get to speculate on. What that means fell. Asleep can mean a lot of different things when it comes to traffic accidents and he is regular speeding crossing the centre line. Drive
with no up no valid licence guys come on it's it's. It is that the double standards in the hypocrisy. I know they don't care about them, but at a certain point it's almost like a skit there. Such a hypocrites, no word as to whether he pulled it. Do you know who I am sort of game, but this is a guy who regularly you know to say, he's Delay early breaking the law. We would need to know his state of mind bodies, at least at minimum accidently. Breaking it remember He tried to bring a gun on a plane, he had a gun in his carry on and he tried to bring it on a plane. Oh he forgot where it was. I it's just raise congressmen. Sir, replied responsible congressmen. Well, if you forget where your gun is that doesn't sound like responsible gun ownership, one of the principles of responsible, on ownership, as you should always know whether the gunners loaded and he should always know where the gun is the gun, in his carry on. He didn't believe or we, now aware that it was in his carry on that's negligent but always all know. These are just it. These are just accidents,
who's, gonna who's, going to blame for this. One Antigua blue class matter, critical race theory, a job. I socialism or maybe transgendered kids. Sir George Soros, I don't with a party of personal responsibility. Very quick to These were accidents, and certainly someone else is actually to blame here so second time. Second time caught driving without a valid licence, Madison Catherine, we have a voice number, and that number is too one nine to David P. Now, many of you will be familiar with today's collar. Today's collar is the San Antonio troll, this
Antonio Troll is known to me and probably to some of you for calling in and delivering blistering criticism directed at me for things I never said, and that's exactly what he does today typical of the San Antonio troll fact. Nor am I wash your covered for the fair year. I don't care, I, U Progressive, are the most out of touch. People on the shrieking planet. Ok, then, what's funny is most radiologist. Hundreds do you know who live in nice. Neighborhood skated near her and gated neighborhoods Lucy I dont fighting, did a good job. I think he's gonna kill shop. So far. That's fine! That's that's totally respectable mocha and I thank you for your answer. And I am absolutely prefer to vote for a democratic and twenty four. I dont know if the Senate
Your role is serious about that. But ok I mean who's. Gonna get hurt us come on we're recurring hurry fertile that you come Wayne about bite in one of your brain irish production back to United States, whereas you don't see that hasty working these gas prices hurt the now. This is where the troll goes off the rails. I did not criticise Joe Biden wanting to bring energy production domestically the honest, I don't even know if Joe Biden mention that what I spoke about was Joe Biden off, handedly sang we're gonna, build and manufacture everything. In the U S and by American, and, as I have said before, when Donald Trump has said things like this. As I said before, when Barack Obama said things like this. the kind of casual nature with which elected officials say this ignore the reality that
economy is based on not making stuff. Here we have decided implicitly through our decision, is about trade and regulation over the last twenty to thirty years that we prefer as a cut Ray, I'm not saying you or I prefer it, but we prefer, as a country, to have lower prices on stuff and to make it a broad and so when politicians, they all do it, they say we're gonna, bring every we're gonna make everything here. It could take decades or longer to reconstruct the supply chains domestically. To do that. Number one and number two everything would get way more expensive. So when the San Antonio troll says I was against Biden, do domestic energy. But I dont remember by even talking about that. I was talking about manufacturing. Domestically, not gas, not gas. So again, troll criticise some one who
said it it wasn't me we don't have a bottomless bank account like you do another Elise. Will you just true right everywhere you go so we feel it at the pump em we are. I ve been I've been all over the gas price thing and I've been saying this is not fifteen cents per gallon. We're talking about impact full amounts of money now, so I dont know if this guy must not have me confused with someone else. Maybe Alex Jones was saying this stuff honour the majority vote, and this is why Finally, I have to do this. Are you Deaf Lincoln Loose, and I just don't see that you see all we need to be complete? Greener, GB You drive a car that you know that all the can afford at it. You have to see it from the poor man, respect I genuinely dont know what he's talking about. I did I haven't. I dont know why commentary of mind. This is even a reference to review the format of the working class, something I think you ve lived in this. You know wealthy liberal
are you a wealthy neoliberal bubble for so long I'll, Gimme, a break it yet got. Go talk to someone who said this stuff. So there's a say: Antonio Droll AM, I am still holding out, hope that some day some day I believe it will happen. The San Antonio, problem call and actually address something. I've said as opposed to something he had tributes to me that I've never actually talked about a Florida.
