Ainsley its been nearly one
year since the creation of the:
U Dot S space force, and now we are
seeing just how much its
growing
Brian up and right now, the
very first space force recruits are being sworn in and in fact,
are being sworn in and in fact,
lets. Listen in live
recruits. First of all, thanks
for volunteering to defend our
nation and congratulations on
being the first Americans to
enlist directly into the United
States space force.
If you raise your right hand and
repeat after me, I will add
Minister the oath of enlistment.
I state your name.
I
do solemnly swear that I will
support and defend the
constitution of the United
States
against all enemies, foreign and
domestic,
that I I will bear true faith, an
allegiance to the same
and that I will obey the orders
of the President of the United
States
and the orders of the officers
appointed over me.
According to regulations and the
uniform Code of military
justice
so help me, God,
congratulations and welcome to
the United States, space force,
cheers and applause
Ainsley joining us. Man is the
man that helped give those
recruits.
General David Thompson, along
with chief master, sergeant, Roger
Tall Behrman senior enlisted
leader of the space force and
one of those newly sworn in
brown.
Thank you all for being with us
one, two, three
that camera
general. Can you hear me?
We have a slight delay for the
folks at home.
We apologize for that General
Thomps. Could you tell us the
future?
Can I hear you? Thank you
Ainsley. You are welcome.
Whats. The future of the force
tell us about the program.
Absolutely
well. The United States AIR Force
has been flying space for many
years
because of the evolution of the
threat and need to provide
capability for forces in
conflict.
We are building a force thats
going to continue to provide
service face every single day. At
the same time, we have to protect
and defend them,
that blue dot that you follow on
your cell phone g dot PS. We
provide that every day
we provide missile warning.
We provide satellite
communications for our forces.
We are going to continue to do
that part of the new service and
make sure we can do it. Even if
someone attempts to take it away
from us,
Brian Master sergeant, got to
ask you this
this whats interesting is that
usually you have transfers from
the air force, and now this the
IRS is full time they have been
recited right to the space force.
How significant is that
its huge
its super, exciting, to see this
happen and to see these young
men and women join directly into
the space force?
This is a first of the pure
breads. If you will,
we are excited to see them, and I
wish I could give them all a
hug
they ship off to San Antonio and
start us off.
What an amazing opportunity
will one of those recruits
enlistees is right there with
you right now: Delvano Brown,
you just went through your
swearing in
now, support of space force
training begins
what attracted you to move over
to space force.
Yes
good morning.
What attracted me to move over
to the pace force was a part of
mission where, where we are able
to main taken and protect
satellite
that might be vulnerable to
attacks,
so that was what initially
interested me in joining the
space force.
Ainsley, congratulations! Dalvano!
Please tell the others.
Congratulations as well,
seven sworn in four in Maryland
and three in Florida.
Good luck down in San Antonio.
