341: Here's What Can Happen When You Invest in Your Dreams

2020-03-02 | 🔗

Talking to my students about what’s been going on since they invested in their dreams gets me all sorts of excited. I have four students on the show who decided a year ago to hand over their credit card for the Knowledge Broker Blueprint.

I took the course, too, twice actually and I could tell you all day long how incredible the content is, how I got a new million dollar idea in the process, and all the real, tangible results I’ve seen since taking it… But I want you to hear from students who were on the fence and took the leap.

Stephanie Ann, Hans, Hilary and Ty are here to share their before, during, and after stories of KBB, as well as the reservations they had and how those went out the window as they started the course. This is what happens when you invest in your dreams.

What is your next big idea? I know you already have the ingredients to take what you know and turn it into the life in the business that you love. So, let's. Figure out exactly what that looks like take, bank on your genius quays agenda creature, dotcom slash bisque was, gay Hilary intolerable for we die vonny, and I first want to say welcome to my fellow MID westerners welcome to this shell being so. Much so to be huge ETA. Ok, so I have to tell everyone this quick story for we do on into the goodness, but Hilary then, following Hilary four years on Instagram, we were connected through mutual friend an earlier this year,
she paused to these Instagram stories and her daughters could literally say the pod gas intro verbatim at her daughter, Sloan goes and Mommy's going beyond the pod caused in this, or we had never even like established at this is gonna happen in so I was your daughters are manifesting goodness into your life. What an amazing world we live in. My love that I told them this morning that we're gonna be out, and farmers like. I can't wait to hear so cool okay. So first I just I hear you guys talk about who you are and what you do like. Introduce yourself to the gold digger audience. You are a member of the audience just share a little bit about who is Hilary and as a couple and as individuals them ass. I saw where Hilary intelligence
and we ve been married for seven years she used eleven years, the Levant Green Bay Wisconsin and, like you said, we have three awesome. Kids, there eight seven and almost too we honor so Jim together and there are new business venture. Is we combine the science of behavior change with parenting, our own three kids, and with that we help reduce the chaos and increase the joy in your home, and me in a more informal way. We basically help get your kids if written lesson. I love it, so it's Tyler Walk is through a bit of your background cause. Your story is just so fascinating to me and I would love for you too, a little bit about how you used to define success and what that looks like for you today, yes
I have a masters degree in applied behavioral now assess and that's just a fancy waves aim of behavioral psychologists. I've been doing that work for about the last decade. Working in the autism, space and working with kids are burying disabilities and so on, was made. That was my goal. I was my dream was to be a professional in that field, and so for a long time. That's exactly what I did. I ended up working as consultants and then having the privilege to actually be a clinical director appearing Green Bay. So that's what I've been doing for about the last six years and then additionally M super passion about fitness and about three years ago my business partner, Derek and I and Hilary together we opened a prospect Jim silk in before me any of this stuff. That's those are the two things I really focused on doing. I love that one of the things I stood
to me about your story. Tyler was what you envision success in the sense of becoming a pharmacist in what you believe like that. Success looks like, and I think so many of us are raised with this vision of success, whether its taught through us through the way our pay Prince instil success within us or textbooks, or the way The media depicts that, and I laughed so hard you're talking about, like my vision of success, used to be having the nicest car the Walgreens parking on his work, and I now drive a previous in Barcodes item a Jim and I'm so happy in. So I I feel, like you guys, are this sample of kind of redefined success on your own terms in discovering what your greatest calling as that leads me to my next question, so I wanted
a little bit about your relationship as a couple and what it was like to go through this process, because I feel like in this process you not only united in the fact that you both are great out a lot of things, but also that you have separate If so, Hilary talk to me about what superpower you discovered throughout this process and then Tyler talk to me about years. Yes, all my superpower discovering through taken came me was my implementation like I and able to take an idea, choose the path that I want to go down and then implement it right away. Instead of thinking about other things are getting lost, translation and then getting distracted and really becoming a problem solver and taking action choosing and moving forward moving onto the next day
spin, you such it's been such a I'll to me because, as a commission, I've been really focused on my clinical training of delivering the techniques living all the technical information and a lot of times. I will just talk at people, and so often that is what kind of dry for me as a potential dishonor audience in law that audience language. So when Hilary comes in and comes in and is able to come through and help implement in a way that is so much more reliable, like that becomes just such a powerful force between to us. Well, I think Hilary is almost like this trans later that, like brings us empathy too, you do Tyler? I think that the way that you guys show up together as a pair really helps express how use the world in a way that can relate to just about anyone, especially parents, which I love you I fully representative
Jennifer I mean there is a lot of people in the space that are trying to your preached. The same mess major deliver. The same value that we're doing in there are really really smart people. However, I feel like their message something misses the mark, because you know not ever One has gone through two thousand within two years of masters Programme to learn the technical language associated with behavior change a lot of times they deserve here, like Hilary says, he's gonna get the kids the friggin listen since I saw you know when I'm coming out them. Sometimes with this higher level, language. Hilary is the one back him, then still what what needs to be said and deliver it in a way that is super impact, bullet and powerful, usually through storytelling and through some of those other ways to do so It's been so beautiful to watch you guys as a pair and people listening to history. Now are probably thinking. Oh, they had no obstacles. They just took this formation and ran. But can you walk me
the last six months of your life and what you ve overcome because there have been times or I have literally been brought to tears by yours, story, and just this desire, like your past I don't know if you guys realises, but your passion flows through you. So strongly that, like any you better watch its back because it's not slowing down so walk me through what has happened since the day that you said he I said Katy be and how your path is unfolded. Oh my gosh generally, seriously, while even the day I said yes, Katy actually having to the bank of my daughter, is going through a medical problems, land it consolidates the medical bells, and I had to give my kids to the bank and they actually to take on another two thousand dollars. You know how long I I'm gonna need that. Whatever stops, I just knew right. There there. I didn't have a single reservation, then Tyler.
Had we just lost a facebook page just him the kind of drop some of his behavioral knowledge and can act more and more apparent. I mean one day at his job. He had told me that he just felt like a ghost. The person walking around there. She was not working with the sound these one on one directly anymore, and I had said late, ok, teller, like how can I help you and tell you know, I'm problem solvers he had just the lesser visa page just like talked appear one on wine that are having changed me Aber loss of Facebook page so from there. You didn't really really really good response from match and then moving forward. His work had said you This act on Facebook, page otherwise you're gonna be terminated and we were kind of like we thought about it. For a second and soul. Basically how to make a decision leave his nearly six figure job because we started a facebook page.
Or continue on with their passions in dreams and whatever that looks like we didn't have a clear path on that, and now everybody. Can it knows what direction chose me kept the facebook page with no other money that we had taken from anybody, no real business venture even l, L seed, our business, nothing yet, and wages trudged on move. Forward? We saw their house, we moved our three kids. You know my moms have a bleak cringing as she's really gotta give believe they did that, and we just bad on our cells. We better in our dream and our kids are their personal there. Along for the ride. Here, we are with one numerous other things, and I think we don't forget. Yes, some of those other things that we launched since then has been allowed one coaching services we work directly with parents. We ve done group coaching through that as well. I've launched in person therapeutic fitness class Lama is designed at helping kids
self regulate their coping skills in combination with fitness and currently were in the process of building our digital, coarse and your pride. I sat in about gas, the bank s behaviour back to you, which is really really has been an awesome way to even just your broaden our reach well an insane watching his I get like heart palpitations when I think of your story. Sometimes, where am I Oh, my gosh there's just been so many opportunities for you guys to say nope, I'm out this isn't firm, The universe is trying to speak to me and you guys have absolutely crush dead and not on crushed by that. You shown up for other people too, show them what's possible so I wanna know walk me through what its looks like as a couple kind of moving towards is bigger vision to get
because a lot of times drew- and I we have very different- gives very different passions and people are so curious, like what is this look like in terms of your Marriage, like you guys, are still figuring this out together, but you, all in on something and decided like this is the life we want. What has that looks like for you? I think you know tell you read this book a couple years ago, and it's called the obstacle is the way you like. We ve really live that allowed like this is just an obstacle. That is the way It is the obstacle to get over it. You know we ve had noise from the outside, whether its family or and like what the hell are you doing and we just had to really solid five, our marriage and our relationship and our family and become this really good communicating unit, and I think it is totally brought us together.
More. I know I maybe had on this before, but my love languages, quality time spent together and then whatever I gotta do to spend more time to gather as my family, with my husband, eating breakfast together, dropping the kids off together, whatever that looks like lake, if there's an obstacle in our path yeah and to me we will get through it together. As a commission in, I still have a passionate, a definition and that's just wasn't happening any more, and I saw the way that things were going: healthcare system is in the way that the training time from money on being able to work one one he just wants I'm from money on being able to work when once it just wasn't going to really fulfil my need to serve, and so this route has allowed. For us to do that and to see the potential what it can be. That is really really just Jack's me up the second pieces to echo what Hilary said it's all about
time with our family were a family of five and we have not enough time together, and so it's like the kids are at school. You know, and I want to be able to pick them up. I want to be the drop them off. I would be present in their life, so when they looked back, they could see us together as a unit in sulphur, US tat was really the driving force, whatever we need to do to get through. So why- and I think, that's all wine together. That really helps this drive through anything that like make Tijuana, I don't know any people listening to this that have all of these sites. Are you guys shared like Gotta be more than this. There's gotta be a bigger impact. That's possible! There's gotta be a way to like building freedom. Our lives on our own terms. I know that it just it hasn't been easy, but I feel like if you keep coming back to that believe like you, you can overcome just about anything, and I feel like you too, are one hundred percent
the examples of that I want to know. I feel talking to somebody that was on the fence, because this is a big decision for a lot of people. I will never underplay the decision to join and to be dredged into almost throw yourself in yeah arena and saying, like I'm ready. I know this isn't going to be easy, but I believe in it. What would you tell people that are on the fence today? Every gothic the sun shone just because hell. You said she was all in I mean she are obviously while you're driving back. You know. Maybe it's me, you know the guy who at the time was the breadwinner and who had a family affair to look after and who you're still has the student dad to pay off with this degree that I worked so hard for, but I think it came down to you know just me asking some really honest questions, so you know how do I feel odyssey working my tail off for hours a week plus for someone else's dream hygiene, or how do I really feel about trade?
my time for money, you know that's the only thing in life that you can't replace install if you ve been asking yourself those quest, hence in if you ve been waiting for an opportunity to take your shot. This is it because you have a superpower inside of you and yes, it's gonna take work to bring that out but you're gonna need some guidance along the way, and this is what was the thing that gave us back guidance in that direction, and I, like say some of them are living testament were here a year later, I'm sitting down drinking a cup of coffee with my wife speaking to the one and only Jenna could your while we're just smiling of how amazing last six months or years been inside, you wanna be, if you want the control of your time Energy, we honestly say that cavy he was the one thing that that helped us take controlling change, relax I feel like I, I've had like the deepest honour of just watching this transformation, and I want to affirm you guys, because now
Only have you just been showing up and putting it out there. You have been educating people for free. Is aligned with your mission of impact, but you have also been very very present in our Facebook group and supporting other people in their Hilary talk to me a little bit what it was like to just be a part of a community filled with people that truly desire more because I feel like our community bar none. I've never been part of anything like it. I am one hundred percent agree. I didn't know that it was the missing link that I needed in my life, tv on is the course and a line in the game plan and like Jenna, you are the coach and the teacher and everyone else that signed up for it. Maybe they're your classmates in Europe. He made the agenda. You ve helped us tremendously too, like bill in the crack them we are made
I would have gotten kind of lost if I had just taken Katy, be on my own, like I don't wanna do language are or energy, so you really filled in the cracks of how to Clayton Ino address like this. Are you do a boom implement? These are the basics of good job in boom. By that you I mean like it were. The great on top of it. There is amazing people in I group that I have consulted with them is handled in the grew by teller night work into generational. Well, challenge right now, like there are there's so much more knowledge and tackle the course an outline and the game plan within that group with you and everybody else in it. It's just that has tenfold been worth. It cannot put a price on it and very amazing yeah yeah, it's been so fine to just oh, I mean It is a true community and I feel like app for me. My objection is always like not another facebook group and, unlike now,
I don't know you told him to stand. You could not go through that group and find a post that doesn't have a single comment, piece of feedback encouragement, it's real oh, it's crazy seriously. Timing, I mean my group is still I ve known clicking just like you said connections that we have made with people who we never would have. In any other way, I mean there's even people from that group who helped us, be our data for a launches and help. This will require concepts in so it's like, I was thinking I could come, anyone who is trying to work through some material with their friends on the on without it without millions and then in an immensely its polished, not the tickets in the world. I feel like a really really serve that purpose Ross. So I want to know you guys. I work for you to take a minute and just let's future Castro does so we ve talked about the last six months. What are you guys excited about? What are you working on? What are you gonna put out into the world this decade like talk to me a little bit about that? Yes or
I think, right now we're really focusing on getting our course together, so that work able to launch it to what Taylor said serve more people. We can only work one on one with families for so long and then doing a group setting for so long. So right now I'm really you not being the knowledge broker extracting the knowledge from Tyler and then putting it in implementing it into really done for you course that will just like your courses general like yours able to just watch it and then implement. I really want to make that refine it so that parents are able to take the course to get their convalescent and then refine it into that. On top of it, late man. Just dreaming with Tyler I mean I watch your in surround stories and I watched drew in surround story, and I saw him with trend work in our elderly man. I just envision Tyler Sunday, Herman and he drew and trembled like yeah review of five mile right. You dislike drinking
Ok we're having a margarita journey and I am all day and say no ice near a lot of ice, you guys. We have so many parallel paths, you and I and Tyler and drew- and I think what I love so much about your story- is that people can see themselves through you. There is a reason that you eyes- are inspiring the masses and I dont think you even realise that boy for we sign off, can you only through because in my head and like how Heavens name? Did they take a course? They have three children their running across the gym, Tyler's working a full time, job Hilary you're serving tables like walk me through. What this looks like because I feel like time is the biggest subjection- and if I know anyone with limited time, it's you guys for sure saw kind of what that look like tat be working at his job. He get home at four thirty at night. Give him a swift chest: goodbye
dinner was ready to go. I go work at the restaurant. I would get home at ten. Thirty at night, teller would be way for me on the college he would have, Do you, my court set up with a kind of GNP Tv and we will be watching Tony Indian, taking notes ten thirty at night until midnight, and we made at work teller get up at fifteen and to go across the class. We did that until we finish the course. If we can do it, you can do it go wild. I was laughing at my Tyler their mo in the law on listening to a module, hilarious drive and the kids to school, listen into a module like knots, would so beautiful about education. These days is almost like night flakes like you can get it on demand. I took the course with care, only in an urgent like walking on the streets of new, I would just turned down call this acts and keep listening,
because I was so engaged with the concept while still being engaged with life, and I feel, like you guys, are just a really great example of like you actually believe in something enough to make it happen like you will find the time it was a priority for you in that was so apparent. I love that you talked about for anyone listening, the doubters out there I want for you to just jump over and see because Hilary in Tyler have made massive impact, starting from zero from absolute zero from the ground up, and this is what they
in six months so tell us where we can connect with you and learn from you and just hear more about what you do so in the first place as you can find us on an saran at behavior change collected. That's where we both receive in all messages or were you can release your business unfold? You can find a set. He would change collected that com and then are personal instagram handles are tied Krieger. I ain't gonna minus Larry Krieger Uninspiring began to justify us at Facebook, behavior change, collective. Your guy would be the best place to find us and then about gas behaviour, both yeah yeah yeah eyes. Well, you guys. I just want to encourage you to day and night. You know how much of a joy it has been for me to be inspired by you. I think a lot of time, We look at mentors and think that were learning from them. I have learned so much from you just about facing adversity and making time and really having this strong vision of what,
Helping future looks like so much so that when the rest of the world, the saying you're, crazy, you're, saying watch me and I feel like that's exactly what I've had the honour of doing so. I just want to say thank you for letting me be a part of your life in your sorry, because it's been an absolute honor, just get started thinking seriously, Norma on the extreme short list of men on your part, tat such an honour to speak to you in your audience. I mean you're angry. Company here with Tony Robinson, demonizing hosting and drew countries are now, and I think it really ought to be somewhat. I lost my life exponentially in the time that I have no new. You have been the best hype. A boy of an incredible group of women and beyond all that I have gotten to watch. You come alive with this message and get it out. The world. I cannot tell you how many people are dying to become students of yours so before I say too much well, you tell those who you are and what you do absolutely general once again thank you member hours at the airport about to take a fly to Richmond Virginia and I was looking through Apple podcast to download an episode or a pot I can listen to during the July and Apple podcast, recommend that gold digger. So I went on, then I saw two thousand first I see
pod cats, and I saw your interview into a new Robbins and I love to any Robins our psycho cam downloading this I downloaded it and I listened to that podcast on that flight and who shared how that was the first man that you know how you invited to that part cast an eye. To know your story. I got to see how you interacted with Tony, and that was essentially there first introduction to Kay, B B and I'm just up eyes like a year and a few months ago was the first time with me list turning to your pod gas and at that moment I knew I wanted to sign up with key baby, you. So when I saw a ton of other sharing, K, B b- I just knew it was tempting, but I just felt like those like this maybe I just knew it was tempting. But I just felt like those like this subtle voice, saying you know,
to sign up through general. You need to sign up the agenda and I followed that insight. And I'm here talking to you. It's feels like a dream, but tell your listeners about me HANS blotting mornin raised in Ghana, West african growing up. My parents always used to tell me HANS if you want to successful. If you want to be rich, you want to become a doctor then I just kind of had that in my mind that ok become a doktor or their high paying job and that's the way I wasn't until later? I was blessed to have met this mentor and he advised need to read this book rich, dad, poor, that Roma, you suck his book and when I read the book completely changed my life, because the first chapter of the book said the rich doom, for money, the start business is Andy, invest yeah swimming Yes, I'm ok. I need to start
Businesses is Jack, Jack Jack. I went on journey because for the first time I realise that this, truly how you able to live a life of freedom, and I just messed with that message. So then I went down that path as learning a lot about investing and I just kept trying drop in Euro ventures like little ventures here and it works. Until this one time. When went into a compound calculator to look at how investing a hundred dollars a month could impact individuals life. So I put it dollars in an hour hey? If someone is making or even earning minimum wage right, if we wanted, they could invest a hundred dollars a month. I put that in so I looked at it from each twenty two, each
the five and I realized that India, joy, investing a hundred dollars a month in today, higher. U S. Stock market index would be worth one million dollars by each sixty five and Eureka Momentous, I call my gosh, I dont think people know this now is like, specially, I dont think other immigrants, and other minorities know that, regardless of how much the urn If you live in the U S and if you can invest even hundred dollars a month or more, you can build wealth. I just got so inspired by that. You know I just started you're with friends sharing it with family so fast forward to today. If I could describe what I do in one sentence, I help professional. With careers, build wealth by teaching them? How
when best dies, a great statement, HANS Holy cow. One thing that I have adored about watching you in, and something that I respect at the core of my being about you. I remember one of the first things you said in our Facebook group and you said No one is speaking to the people. Like me, none of these books are written for someone like me, I'm lucky to have stumbled upon them, but I want to create something that reaches the masses and helps the people that are just like me and when I think about your story. I think that so many of us listening. We see this need for something, but we question who to be the one to sell that. Did you ever feel that like? Who am I? Who is HANS to be the wonder? all this giant need
And no and I yes, I know, because a part of me feels like why not me. Why can someone else? Do it, but I can so that their part of me and and there's another part which is kind of a little bit like well. If I step out, What could happen for me? I don't look at it from the standpoint of of me because I focused on myself, it brings a of tension. It brings a lot of fear so innocent thinking about me, I think about who is the one person of what the people that I can serve. I can so that is not about me, but it's about them and when I shipped my fault is then it takes a lot of the pressure off. I love that walk me thrill when it my favorite parts.
The programme and I know years as well as all of the mindset, lessons and the tools that they equip you with, and I mean we radicals doesn't show up in any courses. This is the first online access that you ve been given to this man with his brain and so walk me through some of the mind set shifted, you over came with the tools that they ve. Given you in that, and you are now passing on to other people. Jumping the, guess mindset shift is truly discovering. Let's see yours the propeller Yang That was a huge mindset shift from me because I'm but really used that word. Superpower yeah, I know we might say gift right at the moment that you here the term superpower, it's like! Ok, while it's something that I It's? U need to me here. No one does this one thing like me right so that work
their ship from me in being offered the opportunity to think about. I live from this standpoint of what is my superpower? It allowed me then, to read eliza exactly what it is and how I can bring that to the world. What is yours power heights its trusting. I dont, know how others out the superpower. I know the KGB programme kind of takes you step. Step in and shoes you, but for me what I did as I went to my best friend yeah and I was like you know, I just watch this programme and there are so many thoughts going through my mind. What do you think? My superpower is, or can you help me figure it out and he was like pants come on. You're superpower is obvious.
We know that tell me you saw you make people leave in themselves and I was like paused for a moment in horselike. Why shouldn't they believe in top common sense tv. That's that's the tricky thing about superpowers I agree that terminology almost makes you envision like a cape and you're like that's reserved for everyone, but me by when you start to uncovered not everyone things the way they do all the things I come so easy to: U everyone else's, struggling with its like DA crazy, yes, sir, I realized tat, I mean more into it. Then it made sense yeah, because when you take dusty meant, I help others live help people believe in themselves all of his audience. I helped believe they can build wealth, yes or no.
I believe they can like live a life where it's on. The terms like, I hope and believe in whatever they want to foresee what do you know journey time its end yeah it it just. Oh my gosh it changed my life. It transformed my life. I love that because, when I think What you do, and I'd literally just had this conversation with dean on our last episode, where we talk about so many of us almost avoid the mindset staff because it's scary right like we know we're going to have did you emotional work, we know that we have passed trauma. We know that we have limiting beliefs, but when we say to do. Those mindset chefs that's when the real magic happens, and when I think about how you HANS, you serve the world. If people DUMBO Lee
eve in themselves. They dont believe that their worth investing in right, and so so much of your work is actually exactly what you're superpowers is shifting their my sad to see that they are worthy of this investment that they are worthy of this wealth and then you can implement the until they have that sort of belief. There ever going to buy into what you're doing now and right now, you're, even connecting more dots. This is why we work well together. It's it's absolutely phenomenal and like for anyone, I just feel like discovering that superpower and obviously KGB is gonna, walk them do step by step. Once they have that framework. Deacon perhaps have that discussion no, maybe with a spouse or your best friend or someone who's, no new, your entire life and you'll be able to help you rode down and and figure that out, but I loved
and I think, a lot of times exactly what you said. We need those people to like speak into our lives, the things that come so easy to us. One thing: On that. I I just appreciate about you so incredibly much is you embrace this group that was dominantly female and you jumped on end and you have really shown me and challenged me in a way that it is so important to learn from people that operate differently. That speak differently. That believe different things and an eye feel like. I feel that same way with Dean and Tony like I am, a new life long learner. I am always learning and growing, and I learned the most when I pushed out of my comfort zone when I looked to other things and figure out how to why them to myself. What has it been like? Be?
inside of the implementation lab with a ton of women who are driven. You are obsessed with you frankly. What is that experience the MIKE for you so before I clicked? Thereby button was specifically for cable B, I knew that the group was declared to be filled with their tell of women and in those slide pause like HANS, like you know you ready for this a moment was talking to our suppliers. Are you ready for this? Are you sure you're gonna gonna be comfortable, you know and then another voice was like you need to step into this feeling that you, this thought that you think it's going to uncomfortable you need to step into it, because it's going to be another opportunity for growth. So then, at that moment, as you know, what I'm not going to think too much into this already know this is you are
person, I want to sign up through his a BBC, like you know what I'm gonna do it. Let me say: oh my gosh one of the past Decisions are made as an entrepreneur hands down, because, like there's this level of support in the group that in my opinion is non existent anywhere else on the internet. That of stumbled on I read, I follow pretty much Every influenza, I'm very open to You know considering like programmes, things like that are part of a ton of in a free facebook groups and some paid there's. Not like this, because essentially the best work too describe their employees and lab is support system
every one is there to give to encourage to support their not just there to take, and I mean it's just completely transformed me. I never even knew humans like that existed I mean, I know a ton of people and sure I know that the people closer to me, like my close friends, Like my wife, you no relatives, Most of them are like that, but I never knew other people out. There could be this. Loving and their supportive? kind of blown away. I am blessed, that's the word to being. Limitation lab. So yes, in the beginning, before
we can now leave hours like he hands. What are you getting yourself into, and and now I'm glad I pushed past that you no hesitation and it is that it crazy group to me, because I tried to describe it to people and I'm a part of I led a Gillian Facebook groups and I don't know if you remember this, but I at the beginning, as like all be in this group for thirty days and am still in this every single day because of the humans, like, I grew so much being inspired by a community that once more for their life, that his will to go out on a limb like you could not scroll through that group and find a poster is no responses on it like there is so much feedback and encouragement. An cheerleading and celebrating that happens in their it's in saying.
It really is just one of a kind that are best were at yes, so I want to know how Europe life has changed just in your time of taking can and not just the course like the course is wonderful, but you have. Her own as a human being. So talk to me just about the change that you ve seen in the last year of your life outside the biggest change that I've seen in my life is that key beyond me too realise. I dont know two only run a business where I'm working with individuals, one on one always had this perception that the only way you could, Sir, is by working on a one on one basis with people. Yes- and key. Be allowed me the programme any
even being in their implementation lab, which, by the way, is one of the best like best bonuses, and I'm talking about you, know the your facebook group just incredibly valuable goin back to that point, be allowed me to realise that I could serve a group, a larger group. And it me to create this programme, which is called? Generational wealth and the cost is you know, can you take a group of India They jaws who never invested before. They don't know about investing. Perhaps they're scared to invest, because the here the horror stories, and could you simplify investing in help. Them understand how you know the stock market works, how it's really not that risky, how its tied to the companies
in the? U S economy, can you break things down and show them how to get or to bias? and then encourage them to do that course distantly for a four year now this You came to me, and I echo my gas. Ok, I've learned all of these incredible things from key B b. You know dean in that programme. Teaches you how selling is not really selling by rather you're hoping some who is looking for a solution to the problem suggests? All of those mindset shifts really helped, and I put this programme out in November and I mean, I'm still in shock? I really am still in shock. I cannot believe it. First and foremost, we didn't of launching the programme had to hunt people sign up for
the generational, while challenge and for anyone listening wandering live. What does that mean to me? Tat is changing completely looked like its unimaginable, like I look my expenses, unama finance guys. I looked at my needs for the year in terms of like me, no more gauge, you know data the expenses and literally what I sold in one month covers my entire expenses for twenty twenty and unless we, how did that like? How did that happen and its beak cause I allowed KGB or the programme The shift to my mindset from thinking I only need to work one on one with clients and realizing. I can work with clients in a group and still serve them. Its transformed, my business really has, for. I love that TED bear in that peace because
a lot of times. We start getting into the business of trading time for money right and it's like. The only way we can grow is if we keep working more and more and more, but didn't we do this for freedom like did it Do this to find this freedom that we felt we couldn't find and the wondering I think it's so beautiful about your story. Hans and I personally know people that you have impacted on a deep level is you invested once you ve got the blueprint and now what you are earning- is gonna compound over time. It's not just to one in there. You are only going to continue to grow in scale, which is why like when Ellison Life can me what money on the table use over and over and over again for years to come to get results insane
ok, I want to know a little bit more tell people where they can connect with you and learn from you, because everyone listening, please go and find HANS Hans has been, is bright spot. In my life and in so many people's lives and he's inspired so many people with the way that you shows up and serves in shares. Where can everybody find out more about you? Yes, I mean first and foremost I want to thank you Jenna for this opportunity, to share my experience? You know I feel like I am no one else does being honest. He I feel, like you know I just into this space not long ago and their amount of it says that I'm seeing its like. How did I here, and I'm reminded it's because of my willingness to learn right last, whenever I feel that hesitation to be able to move
word to move past it and I feel like they might be people listening that might be on it. France in terms are like, should I take this step and the wanting bowed, see to anyone. Listening is most alas, we have dreams, but we keep looking at others living life day India Dreams, and it's like we're looking at them and living by vicariously through them right at some point, we we need to realise that things might, Pierre risky. But when we do he step, we realise the risk. Wasn't as great as it seemed an all, with life, anything bad. Anything, that's great. It appears scariest aided. It appears to be risky like, for example, like loving someone in choosing to be vulnerable with them, or to give your heart too, that it has
current risk and the risk is that what if that individual takes advantage of my love right or, for example, choosing to take the leap to start a business the risk of what? If I invest my money horn, that's my time and it doesn't work out, but one thing: doubts is individuals or we should just all take that step and most importantly follow our got. We cannot life and let fear hold us back Our entire life like before I share where you are connected. May I just wanted to. I just felt like I had sure that if anyone listening but for individuals, I want to connect with me Instagram, you can find me asked the invest thing Tudor so the in
lasting Tudor solitude or his tea you t or are, and on Facebook as well the investing tutor I really hope that we get to hug in real life there see and just get to continue to work together, because you have transformed so much for me and just thank you for stepping into your truth and fur, always just being this lie in our group that continues to lift up so many other people and continues to celebrate. Oh, do you celebrate with amazing dance move? I hope everyone can experience your dad's moves at some point of their lives, but I just want to say that you have done the work my friend and getting to watch our work has inspired me more than you will ever know, and I will cry, and so I can't say anything else. Thank you once again for this opportunity. I hope I've been able to see
your audience. That's the only thing that's important to me to be able to serve ass. I hope I've done that have done that and warm o seven, welcome to the show I am so thrilled to be able to have this conversation with you and to share it with the world. The oh, my gosh. I am so exe for being here, so thank you. Thank you, a hundred percent one of the staff that I, else and when I look at what you ve been able to create, especially having three children, I'm just blown away as a new MA myself I am like. I did not get it. You don't know what the eight especially having three children. I am. Blown away as a new mom myself I am like. I did not get it. You don't know, about an hour- and now I like my bow down to dinner like people, so can you just pay the pig however people and just share a little bit about who you are and what you do,
you and then we can get into all the nitty gritty details for sure. So I am I'm out going. I'm allowed. I love my men, any seven. If you can't all like the people, I've got three kids end. You hit the nail on the head. I started my business five years ago. With a seventeen months old and a brand newborn that just came out of the neck. You so crazy, crazy circumstances, and I was like some. Inside of me was like. I think I can do this you why I dont know I wasn't even sleeping for longer than two hours at a time like, let's be real elude. Maybe that was what it was exactly what it was but has like. I got this in a just, so if you're out there in your mom, ladies, you can totally to lead If I could do it, you can do it, and so it was just so cool. So I open up my portrait business back then
and then I just started thinking. I love this. I love this business, but I want to do more and pack more people not work so hard every dollar and then that's when I met this, I started getting into pod. I have a business podcast and What is your business pilot was by bomb? It's called during makers podcast from me, and then I just launched by business membership site and it's called the dream makers membership in credible. So I'm not. I'll let you glaze over a very important part of your story, ebony. Why did you become a photographer? Because this story like actually hit me, I'm a core? Oh, my goodness, There are two kinds: reason. So I It was struggling to figure out what I wanted to do. I became a mom realized super fast that I know
did something that was just mine. I suffered a really really badly with postponing depression late, so so bad and size trying to come out of this depression, I'm trying to figure out who I was a human and then asked the family unit, my husband, was going to school as well as, working and in one year he only made us nine thousand dollars so as a family of three. Where the one on the way and only nine grand that we have made an entire year, money was tight, to say the least, it was like. I need to find something, that's mine and they need it make money in order for us to move forward, and I tried everything Jenna like eyes. So too, whose I made her bow was blown to super fast that I hate sewing and if it's all about, I was like what can I do and I couldn't figure it out and we had we had our second child and I was like you know it. Let's go get her family photos done. So I was feeling like gorges because as the first time as ring like pants that ASEAN,
I have my maker by and feeling all hot, but at the same time you feeling like a little self conscious, ver the extra baby weight that I gave. You know so I went to the photographer and I asked him: is there any way that you can make me look just a bitter just hi those words that are doing self conscious about and I was expecting for him to be like yes, girl got your back like I can do that for you and instead he laughed at me and was like no, I cat and oh my gosh to get through that Photoshop without
it was like the hardest thing I've ever done in my life and on the drive home. I just turn my husband. I was like I may become a photographer and I'm gonna be every women still beautiful my husband. He so used to me just having like ideas. All the time is like that sounds great. Well that night I was late looking online and I like how much does the camera caused and also okay, so a camera causes I'll I'll, probably need to learn how to do it. So how much would of course, british- and I realize I needed around a hundred dollars to make this all possible, so I definitely since we were only making nine thousand a year did not have eight hundred dollars, but I've come to light. And that if you want something bad enough, you find a way re on. So I called oh, my we and I like to see anything- I could do to just make a little extra money and found out that my grandma had boxes of just scrapping paper says she wanted scanned the can. Peter- and I was like send me all the box, I once again everything and I scanned like
mad woman. For a week I was like now seeing my baby. It with one hand scanning papers, with the other hand like that, is lit how my life look for that weak, and I mean the eight hundred dollars I bought my course. I bought a camera and then I had a hundred dollars left over and I used it for Christmas that year. So that is how I got started with my photography business and it has been crazy amazing ever since It's so incredible to me a few things I mean that story in and of itself is amazing by you figured out or why right off the bat, you never wanted another woman to feel the way you felt you also incredibly resource, foliage dean talks about all the time like we're, always looking for resources, but we forget to be resourcefulness, but then the law sing that really like just impresses the heck out of me as I, u educated yourself raid this- how nothing to do with two. You really. Why out I
is ahead of you, you can from them. Instead of trying to piecemeal a plan together with the very limited time you had as a mom of two, you really what did Tony say turned decades in two days in a sense and figured out how to become a learner, which I think takes people a really long time a hundred per cent. If you are on the edge like anyone listening on the edge of wanting to get to the next level like that's, I left be so much like invest in yourself because, investing in yourself, you're in sitting in your future, your investing in your family and just like you, said, you're gonna, take DEC, AIDS and turn them into days and man. The time that you can't get back. So why not spend the money to move yourself at head so much faster So I want to know seventy one thing that I, when I think of you- and I just like- I am I kind of overflow, with joy in the sense of so
many people, and you you included, you could be successful for the rest of your days is a photographer like you have a gift with photography however, the only way that you can make more money or make more impact is through working more and something tells me that's, probably not what you want for your little girl. Why me through like when you realise that ok, I'm trading time for money and there's gotta, be a different way to do all of these things? What did that look like for you? First of all, thank you for that the best man. I might go here blessing though to thank you for me. It was really after my third baby was born, and so my kids, ages. Six, fine and almost forces are very, very close together at three kids in two and a half years like crazy, and I was lacking after that six kid was born. I really like I wanted to be a stay home, but I also wanted to work but I didn't want my work. Life too
we're power being a stay at home, and so I had moved to Utah and build a photography business, and must realise that if I wanted to make more money, I'd have to keep one king and getting more clients, and I realized I didn't want to do that anymore. I wanted to reach more women, and I I also wanted to make sure that I could bring in enough money for my family to live the life that we want, go Disneyland when we want and still be able to be a single mom. So when I realise that I did not know what the next step look like had no clue like when I decided to become a photographer. I didn't even know what the word entrepreneur meant: no one's an entrepreneur in my family, like I had no idea, and so I was late. Ok, what does this look like? What is next level. You know what could that even be, and so I do. Into personal development. I was like asking everyone like what books I should read. Then people introduce me to pod cause. I didn't even know Pakistan's exist
do they live in under a rock. Maybe I don't know, and I was like old hot castle. Listen at my lad. I listen to you. I listen to any part of the old, and I noticed that all of you guys had stopped trading time for money by building things that you could create once and over and over and over again, and it was like a light ball when in my mind- and I say- oh my goodness- that next level why it does exist and it has a name and it's called courses are membership or whatever product you want to create. An over and over again, and so after that about six months later is when I saw webinar by Dean and Tony for Katy be, and there is just part of me that I don't know just something inside my soul. That was like. Could this be? The answer could be his take me to the ex level of my life and yes, it was, ok, I know one thing that I will love about. You is that you're not afraid do it may it's like when you make decisions like that, and a special
they too, when you are exposed to a different type of selling? There are so many things going on in your head, like is this? A scam is ready to be thrilled. Why is this like this for me and it so funny because being a part of the launch last year there is so meetings or I this is not going to resonate with my people like they are never going know. How amazing this programme is because the methodology to sell it is so different. Then how I do things, and so I mean working through some of the dial that is happening in your head, because I think a lot of us felt it oh yeah, yours so right on, when I finish the webinar, I was like this is whose skin army, but I know you like, I think, like what is happening where you go. I got that we're going off attracts like they are communicating how awesome busy I totally felt that, but that even when
Women are ended and I walked away. There is still a part of me that was serious of lake. Well, I don't know like if it works, not scare me- and it really was that it really is this awesome like what can I do for me, and so that's when I went on to Facebook in the search bar and I was lagging knowledge business blueprint like what's gonna come up, I need a review. Is I need to see this? I didn't realize it is the first time launching either I dont think at the time and your post came up and I even remember what it said word for word. I just remember reading it and you kind of called them out on this, happiness, and then you said how amazing it was, and I have been listening you for a while, and I was like I trust, Jenna literally listen to every single podcast you had put out. Like I like binge listened and I was like, I trust her. She feels often and ass she says it's worth. It went away have to lose so that, I signed up like right there at that moment, signed up under you in that was amazing. Okay, so walk me through. I love
or so much like me in this sense, walk me through how you took this course because like talk to me about this process, because in my head I loved you think of object I guess, I'm just like we, human beings are filled with them in my head, unlike Stephanie Housing, photography, business three children. How the heck is she going have time to take this programme. Walk me through what you did cause your methodology is incredible, only get as like I'm, a little intense like how do I say this without scarier appears, I welcome here. So I knew that if I spent damage money, I wanted to get everything I could out of it so I hired a babysitter for two days, my kids at night, but for the rest of the day and ICE or the bathroom like take care of yourself, because when you start taking the course Tony and especially deal like his energy just
when you buy dry later we eat Stephanie Gore's a bathroom like take care of yourself, because when you start taking the cores tony especially deal like his energy just like they come through screen and I was enchanted by everything learning. I was taking all the nose, I loved it. I was absorbing at all, but yeah. I took it in two days and after that I was like you know where I was gonna use. All of this information to create a course. Remember if, but I was like if this information is true. Then it should be able to be applied to all businesses the next week I was like. Could I apply this to my photography, business, even though that's not the reason why about the course, I just wanted to see that would work you. The next week I planned out my first launch, followed their steps and launched of the target for photo shoots itself, and I made
ten grand in my first week or two from taking that course in saying anything, it's crazy to me like when you say that actually just got goosebumps, but when you proved self one that you made a worthy investment? Is that not like the best Philo World, where you like? I bet on it's all right, I wasn't wrong, but to just proving to yourself that you have something valuable beyond just your gift of taking a photo. It opens up the heavens of. What's possible and it friends of the possibilities like in the most unreal way, like I'm, only saying this with so much passion because Irish, number. My first course launch like it was yesterday because it just painted this brand new. Future that was possible for me that changed everything like what did that feel like for you. Only I felt like I was on Cloud nine later I was like screaming running around my living room. My kids are just
watching me in their life. What are you doing mom, but it really does it opens up a level, a possibility that you don't even think was like there's a part of you, that's hoping that It's true that hoping that it can happen and when you prove it yourself, it's feels amazing, and ten thousand dollars isn't even like, like it's not all. You know what I mean like ass, not a year whether it's just it's kind of a smaller amount, but man it was realisation of I can do this. They gave me the tools they gave an. I got this I I can do this and I can take this. The next level it was some case a talk to me about your memberships. I guess I'm so excited it just launched are like a week ago. Yeah walk me through just like how you kind of taken. What can we be? Tie you and now how you're sharing those gifts with a world cause, I'm so excited for you, oh thank you. So much membership site, which is called the dream acres membership. I created it because I really wanted a place where MA
for new, whereas could get together, learn business while juggling babies and move their business forward, and so I created of membership that I would have loved to have as among five years ago, and so that's what it is and what I love is an Katy, be when you take it, they teach so many different tools. They say go ahead and take these tools and pass it forward like teach it So I was able to take what I've learned tweak apply it to me of like a mom, lies and add my own learning from the past five years as a photographer and create this membership site. Come on producers, so I'm so excited we left in a large and it's been awesome. The ladys that we already have a mare are credible and I cannot to go on this journey of helping them build their business. I love that so much, and I just was complementing dean about what you just said, because I feel like a lot of instructors. Almost teach thing
in a way that is like this is a secret you, you are yourself, I don't share it with any one, and I think that I mean I've taken so many courses over the years, but KGB truly the first course to equip you with the tools to not only transform your own life but to then go out and transformed lives of others in, like I'm kicking myself, because I had a mastermind and let me tell you as one of the hardest things I've her down because I care so deeply, but I'm like, if I would have had these tools and had my own experience with these tools to be able to pass on to people I feel in my experience would have been totally different. It's like insane how its honest like handing you the keys to the kingdom, a man when I love soon as dean teaches you this tool, he also says now learning
men and go out of use any good cited in you can build a passion you're like how can you got me so stowed in so when I feel that all the work and loved it because they had this work, work that way through, along with the videos, and I was able to sit in diving and pull things out of myself the eyes even know. I was lacking to be honoured, it was really awesome and then to have them say: okay, now go teach it to somebody else and because he went through it, you kind of help idea of how you wanted to teach it. Oh my gosh, mine, blowing all love that they gave us that permission and help us Rachel of being a teacher. I dont know if I been able to be here if it wasn't for this class, one hundred percent, I want to know what was your experience like being in the Facebook group. The implementation lab injures. What was at like because one of the things that I think happens with giant launches like this is people try to throw in all of these crazy bonuses and my whole go
is to simplify the entire offer for you. I don't want to add on ten other courses and three other masterminds I wanna help. You actually proved yourself that your worthy of getting results, and so taught me about that, because I'm proud out of the way that we showed up unlike simplified. It because the last thing I need is eighteen hundred hours of content that I'm never gonna watch right, oh for sure, ok, this is the sounds so cheesy by the KGB. The J K Kgb group really became home for me yeah and became like a family. I never realized how lonely I have been, and I met neighbourhood, where I'm the only working mom, you know what I mean, so I always feel kind of like the weirdo. I've got ping care outgoing allowed loved to laugh and have a business and everyone else just as the same thing, and so I thought kind of awkward and being in a group where everyone had the goals like they all move forward. They were also moms building.
Business, and I just felt like I was finally as finally at a place where people understood me where people think I was so weird for wanting the moon and stars are running this so hard to get those and it felt so but just have each other's backs, and we celebrate each other successes, and I really love that kind of community that I feel like you created, and I love that. I also love that when you got in there it was like you answered our questions and then hopped out. So I knew each other on weave comforted each other. When things didn't go well like we just have each other's backs and celebrate each other successes, and I really love that kind of coming unity that I feel like you created, and I love that I also love when you got in there. It was like you answered our questions and then hopped out, so I knew that if I can the hop on their lives, I could watch the live later and I would get so many sir and respected my time as a mother. If that makes sense of all the training that you added into there, they were very time conscious
it also information pact and it was so perfect. As C mon, I loved loved it. I know of that group. So much it's literally changed my life and I a does it feels like a family, a hundred and ten percent, I'm so excited about it Stephanie. Where can ever buddy connect with you stock. You figure out what you doing. Join your membership, listen to your pod gas, to tell me all the places they get well, I love to hang out on Instagram, probably one why they were places they can find me at Stephanie, an Bagley just my name and I'll pop up and my PA cast is called the dream Eggers podcast? You can listen to it on cash, Itunes, all the places and enjoying my membership. You can do that Stephanie and badly dot com. Can we just laughed for a minute that you
now have your own podcast. When you didn't know it, pod CAS were right. Glad of women doing things before were ready so soldier than anything. Thank you so much. Seventy reduced to being you and for signing your lie and sharing your story, I am so grateful for it for the first time, in a long time, I'm leaving these conversations just feeling speechless. I dont know if my students understand how much they inspire me and when I think about this last year of spinning just time with these people who are hungry, to actually impact the world to get their message to the masses, to try new things to fail in public like when, I think about how I was able to watch them, it honestly feels like a lifeline to me.
