It was an excellent, the first fight, while they got off some great shots on him, hurt Stiverne. Stiverne, though, did make it to the end of the fight which is pretty incredible. When you see the punching power that deontay Wilder possesses the bra bomber, is a bad mother and a really tall, long heavyweight he's
very interesting. Build for heavyweight in just delivers these long bombs and just a wild, aggressive style of fighting. My guest today is a great and powerful Adam Greentree. Now, if you have um listened to my podcast before Adams, but on the past he's a very good friend of mine, he's probably most famous bow Hunter ever from Australia, but if you like. Oh another, honeypot comes it's not just that he's a very fascinating guy. We talked a lot about the aboriginal people and his wanderlust and his travels all across Australia in the world, and he went on this. Epic solo backcountry back, country. Hunting trip this past fall this fall in September. Actually, an he documented it all on Instagram story and it is amazing. I mean he got seventy five thousand new followers because of it. That's how good it was. He got in an incredible encounter with a grizzly bear that he also documented, and it did, the pictures were insane. Is a picture of him holding up a
and looking down the barrel of a gun, and you see a grizzly bear standing up on her hindquarters staring at him in the distance looks like it's only about fifty or sixty yards away. He got bluff charged a bunch of times, and it's just. Crazy here in the story seeing the pictures and Scott just How many interesting stories to talk about is just a great guy and one of my very, very good friends- and I love him so please welcome Adam Greentree check it out again experience join my day, Joe Rogan podcast by night good and will live green trees, fresh from Australia, fresh from the Bush right from the Bush yeah. It's been crazy. So I'm back and I'm not even the LA part I was just thinking. I went from the snowy tops of Montana got home, pretty much hugged the family to death.
Went straight to Arnhem Land in a Nova. Terra Travis try a complete office. It like just first thing in the morning, just sweat. Being covered in mosquitoes fly barren ground and then but now humans, like a small indigenous population out there, and that's it then, straight from there. So straight from Arnhem Land to Sydney met. I'm in Sydney and then straight heater lion flying in there? Just like, I don't know how many we believe too many too many more people here than in the entire country of Australia. Yeah. It's crazy member lost because he- and you know like you know this- is the site- has played phone well, the fact is device in the US and those that on the robbery or whatever there was in Kalabasa, say today, we flew in. I went into like a cell provider to get a sim card. I did walk. In look for dodge. I knew something was about to go on the the
that was certainly knew something was going on. I kept seeing him looking over my shoulder at this guy. He grabs a bluetooth speaker and, like pretending he's going to go to the check out and I'm just being polite and thinking there's something going on. So let's just get him done and out of the store, then he goes through a full runner for it, dude straight out the door with Bluetooth, speaker, but all might like he's run on own chased down and got it off him really yeah yeah and I'm like every time. I come in as something crazy going on. Well, if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time, is playing crazy, going on yeah sure, that's just so many people Well, that's one of these yeah there's no way around it, but but you know fairly safe. We do out there fighting shooting water Buffalo, which is safer than fuckin' peoples, not bullship? crazy, safer than people, not when you're Adam Green tree may be it's safer because you know what you're doing you know. You know what a ha yeah, but you were telling
the story on who's, podcast Was it a J Scotts I forget whose podcast it was to you were telling the story, but one of your friends that got gored. Schedule David, I got gored by scrabble, yeah yeah, see that's how good nothing happen here. That's definitely not good I tell you that story. No, so what happened is she well tell people what a scrub bullets, how scrub bulls like just like domestic cattle, but it's been out in the world many many generation exactly miles and the wall with a look will Ferrell inbred. Look in the crazy looking at that, because the whole in and they they cry the diners tires. Here's a photo of him, we've looked at that mean that looks amazing yeah. It is such a cool. Looking animals look so much different and that's pretty much a pubert brahman that one. They said that one oh yeah, that's uh. That's looks like so when you say it's a purebred. Brahma, that means that's that's a pretty good Looking bold, if you go up the top Jamie there's a couple more other
that red one that you just under that one yeah, that's a pretty typical scrabble, that's a fellow that are now actually in Australia. Stick boys got yeah he's got a trade barrier. That's all he hunts with that Red BAR Jesus. Why do people do that for themselves, so the problem with these animals. Obviously don't respect fences and now going buried in a braid with like a farmers stock and things like that, um that is a bad for the farmer. Stock from the ad out now gets guys. Try free fences and what are you yeah he'll have a because- and I wanna be purebred anymore, and you know so they're, not they don't good for ray breeding all I want to fix a signed value the marketing uh. What is the difference in like the genetics like? What do they look? They look different. They look a bit different so that first bullet Jamie showed was like a Brahman bull. Then one of those scrub bulls, which is just bits of in every sort of bull over a lot of generations, will come in in a braid with it and then sort of Rex. The hood
When did they get released or when did they escape? Well, it would've been with the first cattle that come into Australia, so eighteen thousand one hundred and eighteen hundred yeah, so they just sort of morphed and become wild animals in the wild bulls, very dangerous, very dangerous yeah. So what happened was Pedro shot? These bullet dropped, like you know, dropdown conscious. He thought it was dead, walked up to it, it top like he literally got up to it and it jumped off and anyway it end up getting against the tree like here, and they get up a tree. He felt it hit him and it's sort of lifted him up. The true he climbed up the tree is the gross bit. Then he felt something warm and his legs and look down and he's gotten everything but hanging down over his legs, but use a tough bastard. He gathered his stomach back up. Sort of held the implies. Then the bull actually died. He climbed down out of the tree. End up doing two times. I think once in the air, as the royal flying doctors come in, grab
because there's a long way out in the middle of nowhere and then once on the table is operating table as well. He survived all that in a dying of a bloody mass heart attack, so no way when he was only think it was only thirty, six or thirty seven Do you think it had anything to do with the accident American NEWS related at all, really yeah? You would think that a guy could get pass. Getting gored by a bull pushes back into him. Like Ok, it's not going to get a heart attack. That's life, not fair right! Thank you, wow! That's crazy! Thank you. Jamie, I think, was adjusting my shoes sound and tired as well I don't have to do is to get those that are fat. Tire is a little thing in the wheel like does everyone ask me that they do it so I'll get a glimpse of me, whatever shoes that I'm wearing well shoot some awesome animal in their life? What shoes you wearing people? people are deer heads man tonight, that's a big thing about hunting is how many
People are like crazy gear head yeah like what you wanna know. What kind of phone do you have? Okay, what side he run and like with, and it's going to show you one of all, that's really on interesting the money, my because I've done it for so long, but I sort of don't care about the year as long as it works as good as it should. You know and that's 'cause everyone communicate, doing these tip things as well, and I hate doing that. I hate listening to him, but if you renew I coming into Bohain bow hunting, then, obviously you want to know people love that stuff man, like John Dudley's tips that he does like he does. These live Instagram and Youtube Facebook feeds where he'll take a bow. Apart put it back together again, explain the cam systems, explain stream with it too extreme he's he's my go to guy. If I don't know something that I'm doing that go straight to Dudley, Dudley's podcast, if you're into archers, called knock on his the. Knock on. Podcast is without a doubt the most in depth archery podcast
from not just hunting from Hyundai standpoint but from just target archery? How you know technique is me: he's a real master, loves yeah and he's a super guy, how's, your how's, your favorite type of going crazy, good. That's over parts, easy. The the hot yoga in the home stretch today was number thirteen, so I got two more on bang him out this week, I'm going to do tomorrow and Friday and be done with it, because I want to get back to doing other stuff and when you do a ninety minute, yoga class, it's hard to live weights or run or do anything else. You don't really want to do anything else. You know so I'm just going to bang it out. Over here it comes down at once, and she reckons it was like hell on earth just the yoga She had a big drinking session before it shows in Bali and she just made some stupid promises to this these woman and this balinese Womans ring out the next morning like. Where are you a yoga Kim I thought it was yoga, though so she's, like I
yeah yeah. I agree in my sleep and she gets here and it's like it's hot room and stuff, and it might help with killing us. So Bali, too, I would imagine it's very humid. Humid would be muggy as hell. Yeah sorry was talking about that today. 'cause already does yoga in New York, which is way more humid than it is and yeah and yeah Fornia California is dry. We love and ride. Today we went to a different place today. Today we went to a place that was more mild, so yeah not as hot, but it's not your body gets used to it. It's interesting, it's like there's a lot like. You know I do that cryotherapy stuff yeah. Well, I did it yesterday for the first time in about three weeks I guess- and it was hard or as I do it when I do it everyday, it's not conditioned to it. You just get in there and I did, but it's quick how that conditioning goes away. Yeah, I hate you just say the picked up that I brought you yeah dude, it's pretty bad job of selling them yet
There's no. I've never killed a boar willing to kill the s you need to come to. Australia might not ideal, but I'm scared actually it's not look at your instagram feed and I see a brown snake that can kill you or a spider that can kill your fucking saltwater doing the other day wish I captured on video. There was one that I think it was a female anyway. She must have coming around the back of camp unnoticed so that when she was heading back to the water, she was literally coming straight through camp today, back to the water, and it is right that thing that photo doesn't do that thing start photo scares the sh it out. I mean that's a real, that's a real live monster. Are there? How big was that fucker he's about five one, slash two meters? Well, he giant he's! All you can even see it in the texture of his body is just a real log cross. Five one slash two meters to Americans want to think about fifteen feet
America they found. So if you pay building taking at least bought mostly indigenous obeying rather that spot I've, the is and when you say in nineteen place like that as a chain sees a a maneater yep yeah. Yeah. They just ruthless. I like how old do you think of fifteen and slash two foot crocodile done. I don't want to comment because I don't know and I'll probably get it wrong. I would like to know like how long does it take them to grow? Fifteen and a half feet see like a fine that Jim out water, Kragen official, I believe, a hundred years yeah they were. They live a long time right now save ruthless to like people who live Florida don't get those confused with alligator yeah. There are different animal completely different animals, so we've got the freshwater crocodile which just lives in freshwater. Then we've got the saltwater crocodile but he leaves him both. You know, and so a lot of people get that confused. I call it's fresh water I'll be right. There go for a swim, I know so the fresh
crocodiles are not as aggressive and they're, not as aggressive. They might get a bit territorial but they're not going to grab you a year, whereas the Saudi every day you just look like enough to keep growing throughout their lifespan require more and more food with the amount when the amount of food is unavailable to die from starvation and the reason why you don't see a thousand year old crocodiles there fifty feet long wow, that's the only reason is holy, the way they died of starvation or as if they contracted disease long. My God. They just keep growing said. That's why they that's crazy, these ones in captivity, because they get in hand FED yeah, probably get the biggest like. That's what you see because Crocs the Guinness Book of World records, the salt water cracking up Australia is the largest crocodile in captivity measures seventeen feet seven point: seventy five inches, so basically eighteen feet, feed app body body Andrew calls? Have you heard of Andrew equals? No
he's a lucky youtube. Sensation he's been capturing just about everything in Australia for the last millennium and hey's, hey saying a six made a crocodile before. And he's one of these guys. Young bulshit like if he says, he's seen a six metre crocodile is seen a six minute crocodile, but that's just the biggest one in captivity. Right, that's right! Yeah and Australia has a ton of food ton of food So it's not like this. This thing started this the system. We went down there fishing and we probably traveled, now down the river in a little teeny little boat, I reckon we seen two hundred to two hundred and fifty saltwater crocodiles in that time, she's like because thank thank Nikon harvest them more than I column out or anything like that. There is laws protecting him, so there is as low as protecting them. So that's what the price is just read with mountain lion, while their laws protecting was there. It sounds like they're interested well anything that tonight even Estreia is protected.
I like you guys, you know how you can hunt your white, tailed deer and everything like that. Australia, on kangaroo. You can't any native, so everything we're hunting is an introduced species that sucker all the night, if so, you can't Hunnam, there's been talk about bringing in like a program, but I don't know if it will happen. But that's that's so weird. It seems to would be very strange, like completely different system yeah, but well the sense that you guys hunt all the non native species because they're invasive and yelp devastate the wild, the land and the other wildlife. Are you guys have crazy problems with feral cats? We talked But before- and you know you have pigs everywhere and Neiman donkeys, wild horses, even the funny ones- that people don't think about like donkeys, wild horses, camels, I think camels probably get a little bit of exposure. Then we got all your typical stuff. You know: pigs, goats, we've got the 60s species,
so if we didn't have any of those introduced species would there would be no hunting in Australia? So what what do they do? That sounds nuts like, so there are only hunting just to get rid of the invasive species. That's correct! How do they control the population of the kangaroos you or you can get like a permit? I could as a bow hunter or just a hunter couldn't get a permit, but if you're, a professional, shooter, lucky shooting for human consumption or pet mate or something like that or if you're a big landowner, you can get like a tag or permits to shoot kangaroos then every now and then to being organized call, because they let him get so far out control that night they ate the ground down the dust pretty much, then they lie around and I slow death of a couple of months because I lose nutrition. You know, there's we can they don't move in. Obviously, it's a bit very painful way for him to go once it gets. To that point, it seems like They like all. We need to do a call now so in all it is, is we spoke about.
If it were for the greenies. You know these people that really don't have a good picture on it and see that a call or hunt program is actually better welfare for the animals, because I stay healthier and in check yeah they don't have any predators. Actually exactly some places got wall dogs with fingers, but that's about it yeah and how many dingoes can take out a kangaroo. Those kangaroos get we got damn bit yeah they do yeah they do they take him out. They try and take them buffalo and stuff, but they are they really. I don't think they're very successful. They would pick off a pig or a piglet or something like that. Instead, and you know it's just it. I just don't understand why they would not try to keep the crocodiles and If you see one hundreds and hundreds of crocodiles like that 'cause one of those things going to eat what's going on here who's in Malaysia, a crock showed up in front of somebody's shop and they were trying to get rid of it, and then I definitely don't know how
that these people have helmets while they held a month ago, while they have helmets and maybe they're going to head butt it gaff, What is he going to do here in this thread tarp on it, so they can get it Jesus Christ like a bad idea. This is hilarious, they're all wearing camo, but why are they wearing red, camo or might be the fireman. I think it looks like there's a fire truck right there, but why do firemen wear camo blended into that's, got ready, not that's a uniform. You think they got their helmets. On put that helmet looks like a motorcycle helmet, hey different country, different stuff captain Diversity over here, Jamie Vernon, big he's got his mouth open to he's like I kill you all their scary eyes. Oh they're, so different yeah like I grew up when I was grew up actually, but I lived there for three years. I lived in Gainesville FL and when I lived there, Alligators are protected, they used to be protected and we go to this place,
lake Alice and we would throw marshmallows into water in the alligators, come up and eat the marshmallows, but then start snatching peoples, dogs, remember this one, lady freaked out when Snatcher dog just pull it right off her leash and she freaked out and that started happening more and more, and then the population got denser and denser one point in time: they're endangered now they're infested, now there's so many alligators that they have that you ever see the show swamp people yeah that show where they go looking for alligators, which people may purses and shoes and shut out of them. They get five hundred tags. Five hundred two five hundred AL yeah, just skated population healthy and the food is apparently very good at the tail. Meat is apparently delicious. I think Benny eyebrow and was just down there somewhere, maybe a month back down and out down there. Now, like my,
set a line and hook 'em harvest them now taking haven meet obviously better off the skins and things like the letter of the skins. The meat is very good Dudley Huntsham. He bow hunt some every year. He goes to Orlando outside Orlando. I'd like that would be pretty cool, would be pretty cool. Well, they taste good too, and they're in it's a conservation thing to begin, it's like yeah. I really do need to control their populations yeah. I wanna write able to get to that point. What what's happening now is they put tune into domestic waters? You know, like Darwin, the cities build around. You know big big river inlet or a big water system and guys we go swimming there and get taken all the time and our peoples dogs jump in they get taken. I think I've seen a video- I don't know if it was in Darwin or where it was, but some Lighteyes film and and then is just so the back of a crock going to like a jetty and then the phase of the crop comes out and it's got a full
size domestic dog in a short survey, not lie. It was imagine, saying that how creepy it was swimming in a lake or river system like out, like a seems like a like some sort of academic, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, crazy on big dog today, just out a runs like you know, I have a one talks about. Is Bigfoot. This is the one yeah. Oh Jesus Christ, look at the on it God that thing is so big, like fluffy monster, just destroy I mean what do they like? I think there are more than thirty million years old. I think I really don't think We've changed in thirty one million years. I think they just look at everything as potentially food and that's where the risk is and it's a sine wave form it's the same with a big really big. You know they just look at everything as dying Dinia. Feel threatened and want to attack it or its food Have you ever seen? Jim Shockey's show
that show uncharted that he does yeah. I have yet Chachkes uncharted one of them once he went to Africa and I think it was the Congo a month. Who the Congo River in the Congo River. I don't know anyway, it was a river in this native population that lived there these villagers. They live right on the riverbanks and they were just getting taken left and right by crocodiles. I think everyone in the village had like are missing or a chunk cut out of their head. Is this it right here, Jim Shockey, Mozambique, Mozambique there we go! Thank you and Jim Shockey is just amazing, but these things it's what they got here. One of them was feasting on some sort of an animal look at these guys. They all have like a a stump. Where are misen it's Jim, and so they I need to bring in professional hunters to try to help control the population, because they were actively targeting the people that live there and these people, I mean they live in a very small, very primitive village, and
all they have is the I mean. That's that's where they're getting their water from which turn office put make kill, shot Youtube glitches with a really good fashion. What is that I needed a refresher there's just about half of the need to protect unlock on the computer or normal, just normal browser, but it just the poor that live. There me just got. Imagine if this is your only played me. These people are traveling and have cars. They don't they're, not flying anywhere. This is where they live. They they have to build. These sort fences around and these little any bayes. They build these Small makeshift fence is to try to protect, themselves from the crocodiles when they clean their. You know the cleaner yeah gather water wash their clothes once that risk every day. This is one of the reasons. Why do these radical HANS? Because it makes you realize how we've got it right. Yeah like like, we just got to tap into
at home. We get water or, if you want to share her a bath, it's in the company owned houses. These people are just trying to for the drink and they they could gets national people being snatched, no, not ridiculous, how yeah and that's their life and there's no other life. They know they they're they're ancestors have been there and their grandparents have been the other fathers a been there. The mother. And now then yeah. This is life yeah. That's why anytime someone planes about Australia or leave it in the USA or whatever it's like dude Fuckin' Delizia, look at what you've got so easy. Isn't it crazy? It's so crazy! I mean I was watching your instagram feed when you were taking water, this buffalo wallow and thrown it through a filter. Put it in now. We need to be concerned about that because I like, when I looked the filter deceiving to find a good. It was on your instagram. It might be still live on the into the greens now that on normal, so normal Instagram normal, it's gonna go to CVS that we
We can see it so to start, as I move, probably two hundred buffalo off that water hole and like a couple of mobs of pigs that were like they go out and ride out into the water and try and cool off there's at least one big soul. Water crocodile in there as well, but I'm walking out there. That bag to cleanse yourself yeah by myself, yeah an sleeping in a little dog house! This is pretty I don't know if it was older yeah. I think it's it and yeah yeah yeah yeah barefoot walking up. The water. With this. I mean look at this water. Imagine they look at it as a big friggin, buffalo turds sitting right there in the water. That's all through the water do not drink and then Freaking day Drayton die out there, but you drinking turn water yeah. But that's why I put the filter works
Now, how do these filters work? How does that? Well? They claimed to filter out ninety nine point: ninety nine thousand nine hundred and ninety nine percent of all the germs. It's that point area one is going to funk. Yet, though yeah something on the edge of the bag that runs down. You know, that's probably going to get you, but how often do you get Viva fever when you have never been I've, never been sick from drinking water out in the Bush right, and that's only the maid or anything like never ever talked to this spends time in the Bush. Get sick have you not gotten so nice? I'm here Buddy Andrew equals and he seems like a pretty hearty dude and he's I thought so yeah this. Unlike now, have you had this? Unlike not have you had this like now he's like? Well, I nearly died from there, something like what I've had. None of those and I've drank out. There was one time I was so desperate for or this is gone back to when I was like, It looks like rain actually looks. Alright just looks pretty good taste out the filter in the water taste like purse like pears,
and I'm like to admit that field talks, so yeah should not 'cause. That ice is obviously from something, but it's still pist. It still pace, but it's probably actually really good for you. This is different. Would you in that water? Do you put like a? Is? He got amount now spotted you put like some like flavor in and then it just the Moscow to be it. I think I run out at this point that was like twenty seven killing hawk that die if We just deal with the taste you just deal with it and you know what you that first either doesn't nearly Bobby at the time when you did that Epic hunt up Cal in NAM, you're starting Colorado right and then you went to Idaho, not a high, but I didn't actually Han auto how, across through a hole into the back of Montana yeah on a trial.
In the final spot, with limited hunters and more elk, and we were all following you on Instagram story wasn't a fun. It was heaps that I left out of it and, unlike I'll just save this for Joe, but well, I got really sick like like. There was just could come in out of every every you got sick from water. I don't admit that yeah. You just said you never got anything because a couple of pit people writing messages and, like that's a good way to get sick, and I'm like I've done this heaps of what did you? Do you drink right now in the ground right? Actually, I ate some jerky that had been. I left it in the tent and the tent got really hot. Like the start of the hunt. Was the heat was boring and the Jerky want a bit sweaty in that in the bag, but I'll starving. So I'm like I'm just going to eat it, and then it was nearly like two hours I know that all is locking yeah. I feel real good about on. Never
can't bound in my life and I'm just like. Not just keep hunting, don't worry about it so, but this is bad, I probably shouldn't say it, but I literally hunt for five minutes and I have to pull me strides you know and then go number twos and then walk for another. I mean it seems like oh fuck, you know it won't be such an brains out for a couple days. Do twenty days two days. I think that 'cause I lost seven in kilos I reckon I lost ten of 'em in them. Cutler wow yeah? What's that in pounds, seven you know: that's a lot of pounds. Thirty five yeah you lost how much we all had me pants with fallen off me dude, like wow, like literally falling off me from being tired, anyways to falling off me. So this is because you were hiking every day. Just talking every day I hiked over four hundred miles all up for one hundred and forty miles. I think it was all up twenty two days. That's so crazy, that's limited food, and you know it might be that bad.
He helped as well. So I'm going to start a white loss program, Bert Kreischer, my friend, so did the yoga. Today's obsessed with you these academy and she's going to be in podcasts. I heard him well Kim sent me a link and she's like you should have you should listen to this podcast. I listen to it and he's like I feel like I could be friends with that dude and I'm like yeah, we can be friends, then he put figure on Instagram and there trying to milky's nipples. We can't be fucking friends, but he's won me back over, could have done that hilarious. Video of you dancing the dial, oh yeah, so brought over videos drawing yeah. We did our 13th. He and I did our 13Th yoga class today and Orient Tammaron number fourteen, two more for me one for those who guys pants or at the home stretch it's a good effort, yeah, nothing compared to twenty is the Bush J. It was going to love the. I missed a lot of things it makes you realize you know
I said how lucky we are just in life and I've always been the person that doesn't anything for granted anyway. But it's just that. Really ringsheim. You know the simple things so you just just went out there, like you, didn't necessarily have a good area that had been scouted out. Definitely didn't have a good area about meta, real nice, young dude, actually, message me through Instagram and at the time I could hardly get to any messages, and but anyway is one that I read needs like look while you're in this unit. He pick what you know it alls and he's like come over the stair. Upon of that, for you know pretty much my whole life and is a few good bulls and now the first die or the second day that I was in there. I was saying three really good balls and that's what kept me there, because I kept thinking, find them balls again and they just cleared off. They just moved out of the area um the whole idea John Cala Rado was 'cause last year had couple of issues with grizzlies in Montana.
And doing it. Solo, I'm like you're you're a decade. If you do that again, because you got three young kids in a beautiful wife like it's a big risk to take like I take risks, but that's one stay out of my control, Grizzly gone yeah yeah, and so I kept trying avoid the area, and then, when I wasn't finding bulls likes, I end up. Moving out of Colorado went the home walked in the back in Montana, with as far as to be less grizzlies, and that's where I got charged by Grizzly. There's a lot of grease is a Montana man. It's crazy, they're out of control, to they just frigging like the crocs on dry land. You saw grizzlies in Colorado. I did yeah oh, this is this is a disputed thing. I've caught so much flak over that now. Sort of these results. One hundred percent. Now why there's a black this black bear in the same area right are nearly could do the comparison 'cause, it was a black bear. There was a grizzly. There are saying the Black Bear first and I'm like. Oh then, you'll see The video like, oh there's, a black, bear over there. It's pretty cool she's got cub, so I just want to try and avoid her. Then
looking at these Oberen, obviously saying grizzlies before this things a completely different base, there's not mistaken the two it's not like, like that's just the young. Looking grizzly that might tell now it looks like a big black bear. No, it's a friggin massive grizzly and compare it to a massive black bear, there's still a massive height difference and everything write up shoulders, the big square head. You have spotting scope with you, no, I did not just had binoculars and one thousand and forty twos ten by forty two I haven't yet yeah so this time, once you do get a you got a good look at it all. Some look bot at that point. I just figured out there is grizzlies in Colorado, just a couple of people. That told me all you want see. Grizzlies there just didn't know there. Right, so I didn't think much of it. So I did the little Phil for the blind eyes and stuff like that, like there's a big mama grizzly up there, she got Cubs. I definitely want to stay away from her. Then I the whole my ass out of that cuz. That's it in a bison. Only the
Walmart at basin and not sleeping that basin for the night, so I've moved on pretty quick got to the top of the ridge. Looked at again. She was fading along. I'm like cool, then stepped on the other side of the ridge then come back through there in the morning spotted her again in the morning kept walking out of there. Then I got reception again and then I had a hit with messages it's not supposed to be any grizzlies in Colorado on life fuc I just I did so it offers in. Oh, there is grizzlies here ship. These guys got it wrong, not better to massive big deal There's not supposed to be at all now wants to admit that they are there. So Is that no one wants to admit it or is it? You are deep into the dead tree yeah that as well, so they would amount of people. There's been multiple sightings in the area. I don't want to say the area 'cause next year, I'm going to go back and document it with a decent camera. Things like that to try to get it to some video though yet barrister I get some real good evidence and stuff like that. So
Well, I haven't really spoken about a lot since then, because I just got pounded with messages gone. There's no grizzlies in Colorado, you idiot, but don't you want like wildlife, biologists or someone that Apparently I already now- and I don't want to admit it because of the whole protected species act and everything like that. But what does that mean, though? Why would they want to admit that there's bears there? I think it might be a pioneer. Has I don't know, I don't understand, Well I'm keen to get to the bottom of it. You know and I I again not on this. I know yeah well, I can back in there again and I'm gonna try and get some good evidence, but it seems to me that they would want I understand why they would want to deny the existence. Neither do I but a lot of people assign this. Actually, I think, there's a website where it takes in people sightings and stuff like that and all of sightings and the last grizzlies known in Colorado all in this mountain range. That probably gives a lot of it away.
Does San Jose San Jose Mountain range. It is yeah so it's a nasty black, huge mountain God, I'm not too worried all the last. Settings. Were there I think the last. Things are in the ids maybe the early nineties there was grizzlies When you look at a map and you look at the range, it would be nothing in the bay they still right. Well, this question also hold new ones walk in there. This will greens is a might Wyoming right yet not connected yeah. So of course, they're, probably there why I don't know you get up there and you have a look at this mountain range and it's just one hundred percent grizzly country. Oh, look at that that one there on the last credible sighting occurred in two thousand and six neared independent pass officials investigated but found nothing. The nineteen seven nine bear had cubs are likely dead. That's a Is that a bear right? There that they got on camera, that's obviously a grizzly yeah. You could tell the I saw one in Alberta. I've only seen one greatly there if that is exactly yeah. This thing that I think Tao
over that like we're talking about a fully mature mother grizzly. So you're. Talking like a ten foot, yeah, just a huge bear like there's, no mistaking it. This thing would it shows walk and you can see like she's out here. This you know like we had when I get big, we'll say: they've got like a silver back on like a group like a grill, I you know they got the silver back on like this then runs like a lost part of the Hey guys, who she is that she's the the right, color the right shape the right size and everything. So so you only saw her in her cubs. He saw more hair in a Cobb's and then other one there's a photo of another one: that's just the cinnamon black bear I think a lot of few people got confused and that's probably on my end from I just posted a story. Grizzly and then I had to have a better shot stats from twenty eleven. It says. Actually steamboat springs, yeah. Ok, let's Colorado, Alright, I nearly look at that as a cinnamon fight he's black okay to go to I'm on the wrong go go excuse. It makes
larger Jamie. This is big as it gets that might be a Grizz yeah it could be, but yeah. You might be right, though, that could be a color phase. Brown bear black bear. Rather it could be just looking at if it's a yeah grisly, then maybe not, but yeah. She just had this freaking massive head dude like flared out like this. You know the Big read John, the bar and it would be interesting if Adam Greentree was the one who proved that their own Australia, yeah Grizzly, bears in Colorado. But the point there's very few people that are going deep into these mountain ranges like how far back will you from a trailhead? Well so I've I would've, really rough trial head on a map embark for so far then that trial pretty much disappeared out to it. Nothing then I hiked a full. Must have been seven hours 'cause. She was like just before you know sunday- and so it would have been a good seven hours in the back then, and that's 'cause. There was no,
that's going nonstop, you know, stop united, the video or run a lot of it, because it was just what I call dead country. You know there was not not really good looking hunting country so you'll see main sort of trotting along most of it it was lonely back. There was not a human foot. It's up there. There was nothing like that: now fifteen miles probably CS sixty miles malls. I think it was so the odds of people going back there on a regular basis of probably pretty slim, very slim yeah. So they probably just don't know another job. That's one of the issues that apparently they're dealing with NBC. You know in BC. When you talk to the people that live there versus the People that are, you know, call BC, is band grizzly hunting, the people that live in greasy or terrified of that now, because, like we have to control these got damn things like. You know like what they say:
the people that I know that live up there. They say the wildlife biologists are rarely here, yeah like they need, and the hunter is the people that live up there, the the outfitters just like you need to take it well then, until the census from us there this morning around yeah, that's right, yeah and the way they describe it is like. There was a gritty. Bowman did a podcast about this with one of the guys that lives up there, that's an outfitter and he was saying We encounter them all the time and their hyper aggressive like you're talking about people these, biologists that are rarely there there's not like any like really involved intricate sense. Is that they're doing where they're going really in depth account? of all the bears he's like you got. It get information from the people that live there and you do they're going to tell you there's a lot of 'em yep yep they're, not smart enough to. Their selves right 'cause. A lot of these people just want to sit back and just let these animals do what they want to do it that's the idea they want to do in BC. They think that what
I can do. Is I mean this is speculation, but they think that what they can do is let the instead of let the people control the predators, they think let the predators eat all the game that they can and then, when they don't have enough food, populations are naturally going to diminish yeah like black the idea that ain't gonna work. What can happen, but it could take five thousand and sixty years the problem is along that you're, going to get a lot of human death got a lot of pets- of animals that are going to invade in farm lands. Yeah. It just seems to me that that's not a wise way to handle it. No, definitely not an it's. Also going to have to pay money to kill. Problem bears yeah yeah instead of making money, but they don't like look this whole Cecil, the lion thing I think, fuct a lot of people up. You know people the idea. Some evil person just going over there and shooting some beloved animal. That became the narrative and everybody sort of has
idea in their head, that this is what bear hunting. Is it's the same sort of thing? We don't want that in pc, it's real, This is something that needs to be discussed on both sides, and I think both sides have points when it comes to. Like quote, unquote: trophy hunting. You know yeah yeah, I'm definitely not for one or the other. Now it's not like, we want to wipe them off the face. Of course, we just want to see these healthy, healthy population and people that live around there. A lot of them depend on moose meat and deer meat, and these bear going to decimate populations. If they don't control the populations of bear, they will Dessa Something else is going to change. Yeah they're, going to decimate the the game, populous yeah sure I don't, but I actually think there is that I hung to Montana on over populated with grizzlies from what I'm saying that is populated. They just populated. You know that. So this is the the PA I said I end up going into in Montana, isn't my usual spot and there wasn't supposed to be as many grizzlies and that was
you would say in the video where I I will go over the rise and then all of a sudden we locked all eyes at the same time and then cheat in a split second. She just come straight at me and I'll tell the story because he's the people keep asking, but Ah I'm one of these people that I practice with whatever I'm shooting with member when the free daily fee suits came out, it was uh camouflage suit and it had like 3d, leaves on it hanging off it and got lost that go into the archery range and shot in it and the first time I shot at the string of the bow hit, the leaves in my shot was off. So, let's say the billion yeah ghillie suit, like just practice with whatever you use, and so my he's a sheriff in Idaho he's lend me a hand gun so
he's been hanging on like dude. I've never even tried to hang and you just can't get 'em in Australia like that. So I want to practice. We went out and practice and we practiced with a cheaper bullet and it was like a solid, solid bullet. Awesome. I picked up straight away and there was no dramas I control with it just trying to do a rash shot thinking if a bear ever get you it's going to be in a rush. It's not like these. You know pull the gun out and have a later time so I was practicing shooting with one hand and everything like that anyway, when it comes to on the hunt. He gave me some expense Bentley bullets in our hollow point, with like a real flat front on it, so we never shot those bullets anyway, this grizzly charged, I pulled the gun out. She stopped at twenty meters of this time like I just I stayed stationary, I didn't want to do any radical movements, but I just yelled at her. She stopped at twenty meters. She turned back and went to a Cobb, and at this point I cubs just at the base of the tree
she got there as soon as she saying that the cowboys are actually just come straight back at me again like like I see a bear like rice and straight at me. I had the can get to hang guns out now 'cause. I pulled out the first time this time she come all. Ten Y210 and I'll. Actually, this video just for now I'll, just tell it how it went and I pulled the gun out a there again like that she stopped. She did a big swipe on the ground spun and went straight back to the Cobb again soon, as you got back to the Cobb this time she ran to the side like tried to flank me. You know it freaks me out how fast these things can like like see now foster deer can get off the mark. I reckon a grizzly is faster than the deer and you think of the size of a grizzly, and it can still move at the speed of a deer or faster like in. She just disappears into this all this scrub beside me, I can't see so I'm like standing there like, like just wait and where she going to pop out 'cause. I thought the third time she's going to Shanghai
we're going to try and kill me the third time right. You know she never showed up, and I stay yeah for a little while and like just start backing up and that's what I've got the camera out 'cause. The other thing on fear love is shooting one and not being able to justify it, because people go to jail, get massive fines home like I want to document this third time that she's coming, I'm probably going to pull the trigger. I want to document it anyway. I back out. She sorta storks along a little bit like watching me and stuff like that, then she disappears and I walk away. And then I realized the guns, jammed the Just maintain that whole time- and I was like let's so she did come for me like truly come from- as Fox like there's no idea was jammed. What was going on, I was hollow points with the flat face on wouldn't light up into the chamber of the gun I hit on the front of the the revolves. We won't go up in there, so you'd. Never have gotten off a shot. I would never would have gotten off a shot og and then I was thinking that
unless you count to ten meters 'cause. I thought she was going to jump me at when she come that time and I was like Falcom, how's, the gun didn't go off 'cause, I'm sure I had the finger on the trigger, but I just remember thinking white and it happened that fast I reckon that second time she come at me when she was about the although Levin made a month or even when she just come past, their regional mock that she stopped at twenty meters are reckon all pulled. The trigger that didn't go off and I kept thinking like a the slide lock on the unlike kept thinking that was jammed up and it wasn't at all those bolt just didn't fit in there gonna fit in there. So you never this with them and also the entire time you were unarmed, yet tired, Thomas and AMP. I bought polar bear spray from Cabela's like the world was out to get me, and it's only on the light even put in the bag, and I got it there and I'm packed bags, I'm like where's the bear spray fact. I don't even know the bear spray, so I was able to when she was all me. If a five and had this chance,
they're going to pull an arrow out of the bottle and just try and stab are on tonight or do you lie dead and carpet or what they say with uh female Grizzly just try to lay dead because they're just trying to eliminate a threat to their cubs. I feel like would be really hard to lay dead when something scratching up yeah, I feel the instinct to try and go back out of Hannah. It happened and I'm, like you know, like I've, got a hike out of there anyway, I'm an armed, so I've got a hike out. They are going to get bullets from somewhere on Mars, will go back to the fucking bad grizzly spot. You know, which least, I know there's elk there, but I've been trying to not do it. You know Albert GonNa Sis, forty five. Ok, so it's a good gun the drama started way before then 'cause, I'm like. If I'm going to do this hunt. I want to have someone with me like a hunting buddy, I'm not going to do that. One solo anymore because of the groups because of the grizzlies I invited shined or anybody Shane. It was common and then the tag
Montana got really hard to get so he couldn't get a tag then I'll go have fun drama film, the hunt, but they found out they could film in a wilderness area, so they can be there and I'm just like I'm just destined to go there by myself and it was like I already knew some ship was going to go down. You know it's like everything kept pushing me in that direction. Now go back to Montana you'll, be right, you're just going to encounter Grizzly. That's it so, put this thing in front of French: don't put it back there! You go hello I think I might have been like this when I started the show and now just come back out, you freaking out. That's what's going on, I think I'm trying to get to 'cause, I'm talking about grizzlies in China would be getting goosebumps just talk, I'm getting the video probably a week ago, and it was just not ever attack or anything. It was just of a big grizzly I had a lame feelings. Rushed back to me like it was just like I had a full adrenaline rush and everything to like the my body was full pump in and out and to the point I'll start to feel uncomfortable
look for what's going on in like it was just that grizzly video on thinking about that grizzly running at me. I could see her as clear as day still coming at me saying: a shoulders moving dude as she was just race and I can just remember seeing a shoulders like pulsating like and uh. Over here moving and Oh yeah, oh fuck, that yeah did you ranelagh just release the podcast two podcasts in a row. They got charged by a big male grizzly and Kodiak. They had killed an elk Kodiak Afognak, yeah which is videos they. They they just the podcast onto podcasts in a row and they shot an elk and the log neck islands. They have Roosevelt Elk, which is very large, alchemy. The biggest Roosevelt Elk there's a huge animal in one thousand four hundred pound animal and it's crazy, thick brush and
they're packing. This thing out took forever right, so they shot it when they some of it there. They went back to go, get the the Elk and a grizzly bear obviously claimed it, they didn't know they were hanging around heating. Which is they don't have their guns out. Nothing in the bear just came running in just charged into all of 'em, one of the guys Dirtmouth wound up, riding on the back of the bare fucking, crazy story and they're talking about it. Just did giant bear one thousand and eleven foot Grizzly bear people like God, you believe in big four and stuff like that. We don't funk after there's a real live monster, but we just used to seeing it. We called a grizzly bear. Ok! If a king can eat you owe it eats everything it eats every. Right. They just savaged. Do so big. I don't people understand how big they are,
I haven't seen a big one in the US in the wild, but I saw a small one in Alberta in the world and it scared the shit. Outta me, the one that was on my old carcass. Last year we spoke about on last year's podcast. I remember thinking its face is bigger than my but also do and- and I'm just like like that- should be mythical, but it's fuckin'. It's not it's living here right now and there's states that are protecting him. Yeah holy yeah. They want to control the they want to help the populations grow. I think you thought it would change really quickly about protecting him into night. You dog, Ahwahnee, kids, or do I dare you? I think people would be very hard get people to vote. If we killed a dog, will go well. You know they were here. First it's when they start getting into. You know our friends up in Alberta, John and Jenn Rivet. They sent me some pictures recently of
in bears that had moved into the area because they've been pushed out of their good area by grizzlies right there's. A lot of grizzlies not agrees is up there and apparently they're talking about having some sort of a season on them because people are in ring them yeah on a more frequent basis, but again that area where they live up in Alberta is just so denstone wounded, so dance yeah, the trying to figure out how many pairs of there where the bears are. So that's a good system when I put that on and in the finding the numbers like this, why the american systems, the best hunting system, I've ever come across, because we so you do a numbers check and then you're Easter tags for what can be taken out of the population to keep the population e, it's all done by wildlife, because actually it's all a hyper revenue there. It's awesome system well bill. Two dollars a year from hunting revenue in this country that go to wildlife, preservation that go to Contra
Shin of habitat. You know back country, hunters and anglers has a great website work. All the stuff is detailed. Making rocking out no federation does the same. Similar thing, which is, they have digested detailed numbers and how much money goes into conserving these areas and even re populating these animals in other areas. Here, yeah, it's a brewing systems. Are you not and it, but it has to be that two sides, because you it can't go fully one way or fully the other 'cause if it just fully one when we try and frequent wipe them out. No one wants that right. So there's gotta be that middle ground there, where I think what we say, the greenies for as well, you know, and then like well, you know we can afford to shoot. You know two hundred of those grizzly bears out the ten thousand and leave there or whatever it is crazy numbers, then that's the system, one! So it's healthy populations again! I am every every single year for generations to come healthy populations of game and making sure that these giant predators don't encroach on civilization here that the things that keeping them out once they start-
wiping out all the moose and all the deer and all the elk they're going to move towards people. People need to understand that this is not a game. You don't encounter him in Santa Monica right. So people like you know you are so it's just going to kill animals. That's not that's not what these people are doing you don't understand you never act like you could tell them maybe, if they maybe they've heard you like, be around them and understand what the fuck. This is: a giant fifteen one hundred pound monster that doesn't think like that Then I'm going to eat my love, kids. They just thinking food yeah but hole in my stomach, and I want to fill up the greenies would say well that help you kill those dudes, two mad, why these greenies out there petitioning against fuckin' lions, killing shit,
Why aren't they yeah right? Why aren't they like lines are killing ship? We were just talking just part of the food chain as well. Do we part of this whole system? Courtney. Do Walter on the podcast! I was talking to her about you, know people occasion when they're running these trails are running, a mountain lions were talking about this who lives in Malibu has an alpaca farm, mountain lion, until Pacos killed, eleven of 'em and a goat just wiped which is decimate the party yeah that was for real killing, and so this lady got depredation permit to kill them out nine and she got all these death threats from people yeah RON. But it's always like to understand it is to our minds, killing animals to to yeah yeah yeah way more animals. Guys later, I can't understand: what's not logical, it's just emotional and I think a big part of the problem was to this to to be part of the problem. One a lack of real wilderness exposure like real time in the woods understanding what this whole ecosystem is really all about, because it's just a predator prey ecosystem
and when a hunter goes into that you really just did, bring your toes into the wild world for a little bit yeah exactly and the other part of it is movies. All these fun bear movies with the bears of your friends. They talk to each other and all these anthropomorphs amortisation movies. You know whether it's can be or whether you know it is not really there. Where is, if you go into the woods and see yourself, you know that so much been understanding, and in a much better experience for the play more people get exposed to these movies for the bears and their your buddy then get exposed to an actual job charge for Fuckin' Mama grizzly bear like you did yeah. It's probably wants to kill those, but I mean this is not over saying they want to wipe. I didn't look at that Mama Grizzly and be like. I want to shoot you if you look at the video you'll actually hear me gone. I really don't want to shoot this bear like she. Just doing water instinct tells us yeah, I'm not even cranky at all, but I don't want to fuck
so terrible table. Closing down on you Would if yeah we're gonna open up a season, apparently near near Yellowstone too many situations, yeah more bears yeah. That's roughly there that on there and that's where they released a lot of the problem bears and that's what I do. Yeah it release probably went to an area that they didn't release. Problem is not 'cause. I never say female grizzly where usually hunt in Montana they're all miles or loan animals at least, and I can't tell, and the males are less likely to charge well, it seems like it yeah the mails. Well, if a male charges to eat you You know yelled at that. One on my cock is last year and he wanted to go the other way and he did. He ran off and freaking disappear.
And it's interesting, 'cause Montana does not have a bear season. So these are not animals like Alaska Bears, avoid people like to play exactly yeah, yeah, 'cause, they're, afraid shot yes, so he like ran off. I think I yelled at him that one last year and he disappeared. This female that was running, I mean his colon are fuckin' mall and everything might shake 'em all with him all new. That was an australian word when I mean like that made me body Andrew Vocals, what I've just spent the last week with him in animal in Norman territory. He comes he get in the vehicle driving along and it's all quiet and peaceful, and then you would just come up with something weird like you know, if you had They bring any active back from the dead to hunt with if you're awake to even trying to think about that. But then I of wanting something like he's coming up with all this shit, I'm going to count one like over this trip. We just need to come up with real
trying things sayings that are getting used anymore and mine was like do you have that like, if you say, bought or someone instead assigned by just Sitala, I'm talking It is like a magician would say ten, and I was like Taylor, like his interview, lighter note I ta for now what about her? I hey, who ran a just as in all right, bye. Now, no no hurries like victory hike, I mall is like: all someone, Abich Auras Kang 'Em. All you got schanke, yes, it allows gangs yeah so she's running at me. I'm like fucking knees up your fucking mall. You know where is this guy from it's probably why she didn't eat? Yet she went from here. She didn't even say this, but I imagine she was thinking. I don't speak English Park, but you don't even know where this dummy kangaroos
no I've never heard of him before yeah right? Is it like America, Moheli Mobile, MIKE Molly, I get yeah, but I think it's more of like mall, in your face, as he found out. Ll slang slang term, two different, ok, only Australia, Australia, New Zealand, oh in the United States, usually a pejorative or self deprecating for a woman. Of loose sexual morals, ship, which I said big lot or a prostitute. Damn no wonder she was Pist off wow Mall, Mall yeah, that's probably like some old ship from America that we like we gave too long time ago. We abandoned it. Then you guys pick it up. Probably probably so. When you went and got bullets, so you want to get bullets for the wedding. Bought bullets jump straight back into Montana, but may all spot in Montana, and then I'm only had three days at that point to trying 'cause hours after a bull elk and I'd passed up
a lot of younger animals and like image or animals over that time. But I went from the heart hate to out to my usual spot Montana, and just water. That was not explain it to exit that, for people that are hunters is. It is very important if you want to consider the overall health of the herd. You always want shoot the older, mature animals 'cause. Those are the ones that are bred, yeah, they've, passed on their genetics and it also improve moves the health of the herd because then the younger males, that's right. I could probably get killed by the bigger males or have the potential getting killed in combat when they clashed and that's the whole reason if people don't know why they have antlers to finally exactly yeah, I think my biggest thought in that is, I just want to shoot. An animal. That's live that life. You know like like look if I'm desperate, for don't get me wrong, I'll shoot a spark or a cow whatever, but but I'm not desperate for mating. That point
of survival unites. All I just feel a lot better if I shoot an animal that on like it's live this life right, you know, and then the by product of that is you get a bigger animal. So I mall mate yeah. You know you get a set of antlers, which is to make a memory it's not like about. I don't cut the head off and just walk out of the eight o'clock I'm going to try and I think a lot of people think that the, why of respect, but it's just so. Why have respect in the animal today you know so it's a funny thing, but yeah just shooting a big old and that's why past a lot of lot of younger animals, I had opportunities. Does one dials wrought on the edge of this like like it's like a cliff, but the rock that went out over the cliff like a bit of a pinnacle- and I was actually Pinnacle, and I had this bull straight below me and he was like. I think he was. He was thirty. Something made his butt because you're shooting down it's like you know, the range finders science shooter that sixteen or seven seventeen meters
and he was just lying. There had no idea of there, but just a younger boy. You could see in any bison his body and just these antlers so but it felt to be there and then be like now, I'm back out and then it was without the noon. I think that that Grizzly went me so, I had opportunity to shoot balls, but I pretty much twenty one days without an up to where I'm like. This is the ball that I'm going to shoot and I'm getting into the yeah there's a thing: the people I think on the outside. Understand or appreciate. Is that it's not just out getting meat, it's also about getting mature animal and it's also about getting mature animal because they're way more difficult Klay. Yet they the way smarter brain freeze, the reasons you know they just hate small switched on. You know there are lots model, so you want to let's like down in the off like you, don't want to go into a fire. Someone. That's never done. Kickboxing yoga champion kickboxer, like that's ridiculous, where's the challenge in that how you going to be bad
doing what you're doing if you just fart and I thought that you know you're always going to win yeah and then I I have very early on that trip. I'm happy to go home without a bull, but I'm not happy to give up on date three or four or sit around camp and then go home available. I want to bust my ass. I want to get to the point where I say to myself, and I did it multiple times on this trip. What the fuck are you doing like give up? This is too hard. You know I want to get to that point where myself right now 'cause, I feel like that's the most you ever grow. You know in any sort of hardship. But you know it's like freaking campaigns running this life. You know he's gay. It's going to find a longer Mara for next time. Well, that's what Courtney was saying that they are considering a five hundred holly. My lock run five hundred
I can't I can't even fathom that dude yeah I mean how many days would that take on. I can't even fathom gallon coming six seven days. It's probably like a week. It's probably going to be a week of running yeah, so it's just you always off and it you know like all good. I gotta pull back a little bit now, like I don't like that's about maximum that I'll do and how many days in twenty and two thousand two hundred and twenty two yeah and then there's a lot longer without the family, because you know the flight here in the flight back right and I went. I was with daddy and I went well. I did the whole anything and went to the innovation center and hung out with you for, like a couple of days mean bending O'Brien went down the West Texas on hundred some axis deer. I went bass fishing, so there was like there was. Like a week and a half on that trip that a lot of people do realize that I'm without my kids and family, that's the hard bit I could go on leave. They look at freaking hermit, but I've got I mean I freaking, love him and I miss him. Do delamain
I came in like you fuck this for me, because getting on the mountain, like you know, is on me my element up there like down in the middle of nowhere. There's no people, there's no lights. You know, there's just wild animals running around and I'm sitting on the mountain on my fucking, Miss Kim, but don't you I think that's one of the reasons why you appreciate them. Even more modestly appreciate your family so much as it is but yeah I said once Steve Rinella. We did this crazy hunting prince of Wales and it rained every day, and it was just we were just drenched when you're inside your tent and the and, like I turned on my headlamp and there was just water. Vapor everywhere in the tent, like nothing ever dried out, you sleeping bags wet you're closer, which is miserable, but when I got home I called him. And I said man- I have never felt this good, I'm so happy. The sun is out and I'm Ivan and I just feel amazing. I feel like I'm on a drug yeah and I called them up and I go dude. I have never been happier yeah crazy done because I was only usable, it is yeah yeah
better. You know and then have to experience some difficulty in some hardship in order to appreciate the good times yeah exactly I've. I feel like freaking with kimmons. Wouldn't it newlywed Telethon is probably because I'm a wise son yeah. Every time I come, I mean I don't like to call while I'm thinking about him flat out. You know I actually just renew my vows. It came fifth, fifteen you'll, Dany is married. Eighteen years together, yeah. I think that there's something to that man mean people. You know absence makes the heart grow fonder. It's a common expression, I think, is totally true, and I think that I, I don't think black If it's supposed to be easy, I just think it's now I think it is almost to do some difficult yet, but I think ' the sooner you realize that. Then it does seem easy, like makes sense. It's like the sooner. You realize that life supposed to be fucking, tough and if it's not put yourself through some tough sheared, then the better dude yeah then it just
Right now, I feel, like I've found the recipe just to be happy. As hell I've been saying at the lost creek moms like I don't want this happen, but I've been saying that came in she sort of gets tied up fucking. Just now. I'm happy to die right now. Not going to really mean that I'm happy to fucking die right now. I want to see my kids grow and I want to see my kids have kids and I want to spend a turning eternity with that woman, but on Fox happy to die right now, I'm not happy, and why do you think? What do you think like that? Because I feel like I've just leave the flower off already, and I bet you still enjoy it very quickly- I still enjoy be happy to die because I'm fucking 'cause, you crazy. Probably I ain't doing anything out of the ordinary to fucking die, but right, yeah, yeah a little bit but the houses they also will bears and John that's the fox on video. That's probably not a good
diss cries. Did you get back until that do gave the forty five hey face: yeah yeah he was for you. Can then allies NAS as people's CHI, an ad that we're in really again yeah they're the NAS as people, and I think it was for you can more alike. It's all good yeah. It Jesus Christ to know that you had to go, you had it out and there was nothing there wouldn't yeah, oh yeah, and then so I had this late there that night 'cause, I wasn't walking in the dark and the worst thing is I'm sleeping on at the elevation that she's at an she's only about four hundred meters in a direct line from my camp. Oh Jesus cry so, did you sleep well, so I manually put a shell in the chamber side, one shell and I just fucking- I actually slept good then on his own, if his adrenaline war, where an often it wore me out more, were you convinced it was going to fire even with that one showing the change yeah? I would've been what is the general loaded on yet so I could not the magazine in there because it would jam on the bullet, but I could draw a shell in there manually and
it- would be good to go. I had one bullet yeah russian roulette with guys, not talking good. I actually had me now yeah that night as well. Like sleeping how long is your knife not who created God, he's probably thinking it's a mosquito body, spectacular notice, not fuckin' thick their skin is sold there yet because they bite each other yeah. I watched out a Grizzly man documentary one of the craziest. Things was watching the two grizzlies fight. They were just Terry each other apartment in each others, heads and when it was over. He didn't look like anything happen either out of line Taurus to shreds buddy. That's had really good experience in northwest territories. With you know, there's black bears and grizzlies living in the same area he's experienced the two fighting and his name I like the black bag on the grizzly. It's always a grizzly running down the black bear. He said one swipe
a grizzly bear. You know bigger blackberries wants what from a grizzly bear and the black bear at Miami Dade, but it's decide would might once what's on managing what one's wife agrees. We would do to us. You know, there's a picture of cam hanes and a grizzly that he shot in in Alaska and holding up its paw it's. Another photo to bear that he shot was like eleven feet tall and he's holding its paw and the paw is like a fuckin' dinner plate area. It's like this big yeah. Maybe Imagine that beach slap followed by claws do there. It is straight after it. Yet look at the size of that thing. Fuck, the polar look at the tape on that block clause yeah, not again Samuel S, cams white teeth at one hundred am we could just get that charcoal?
How come my way got? It doesn't work. I do drink coffee yeah there. I wondered what you got into though he drinks, coffee, yeah, but hate coffee must have bleach in it. Instead, sucking enormous enormous animals, but, like you said, I mean that really is a real live living monster, crazy How do we love that dude there, I'm just having a joke when I say he's a fucking legend he's the best yeah, but I mean he know. John Dudley saw a grizzly bear, take out a moose with one swipe. He saw it through a spotting scope. He Grizzly Bear hit uh in a back and break it spike in spawn they just they. Rain sign yeah, probably one of the few animals that like hits Yes, I wonder if what chance of we got, you might zero. Your bit made now come on in and have fun the back of those whose cable high school in there, just so big,
so God, damn big frigging live in big foot day. I thought they brought their yeah. It's not a big was always dialing, eight loyal monkey day. Probably what big Ford F Deprive big foot wall of death. It's way will focus griller everyone's. What's crazy! Is that that's a small bear compared to the short faced bear with short nose. Bear wasn't who's that bear that lived in the last scene. Find short face. Bear they think they call it which is bigger even than a polar bear. Bigger than a Kodiak bear. There's a picture of these standing next to a yeah. That's it! That's awesome, holyshit that scary, and that thing had long legs in that thing apparently was so fast and so ferocious that it kept people from sing the Bering Land Bridge. Like that's one
the reasons why they think that people it took so long for human beings to make it to North America. It pauses as big as that dude chassis, That is it much bigger than anything else: yeah, there's a grizzly polar and then the polarz. How much was big daddy? How long have I been extinct? I think one thousand years yeah. I think that was the find out. If that's the case Jim, I don't want it, but there's a picture of oof. Seven facts about the extinct bear eleven thousand go back to that last age, you rap, please, and look at that one image: it's really not that little guy up in the right hand corner the guy touched in the face. Oh yeah, that's what we got. Damn it, I mean that is a monster. That's a monster from avatar or from star wars.
And that's a real animal. They lived alongside people for a long as time, but see what I mean if they would just run around in the walled still would just have. The normal name, former, wouldn't be any different. 'cause we used to saying dude. It's like the galaxy, like you used to looking out at say the milky way. So it's like oh cool fuq off have think about that. That is freaky to hood, oh yeah, I've always said that if space wasn't real like if there was, roof over the world, but there was one place where you could go. You could see space. Everybody would want to take a trip to the top one hundred percent yeah. That's out there for all of us to look at you just gotta get away from some of these shady lots. You have some amazing pictures just pulling an image go to first. Is it first domain dot image, dot image on Instagram is not just an amazing bow hunter, but an amazing photographer just one that I I it it when
out there in Arnhem Land like there's, no artificial, there's, no light pollution for a long long way. Yeah! Look at that. So if you look closely at that picture, so the orange lights, the fire but see the clouds in the background. There's just and for that we? But if you look behind that that's lightning in NOME Cloud there, so I end up in the fire, the lightning and then the milky way blazing through there. That is an amazing picture. Man that is, Mazen days, and I'm just like that. Due to I con lock on there on Aug done, go to sleep to one or two o'clock in the morning, because I'm just lying there looking out or taking photos and I'm just like what the out they like. How crazy is that pictures incredible yeah? transcribe beautiful, so that's over a heads every night. That's another thing that you just sort of take for granted. You know- yeah and, like you said the light pollution mean
we just we love cities, they're nice, to give you know, supermarkets and restaurants in ship, but they also ruin your view of this. The universe totally, it's not worth it. It's not worth it. I think we do. The trade off is almost not worth it I feel like we're just all fucking pigs now, because we're so there's so many options out there in food, and I reckon our taste buds have changed and everything will no doubt our taste. Buds are changed for sure because stuff back, then wouldn't be bland, but what we, if we you just ate- real, simple items now to be blamed as hell. You know I'm a source on of any put salt on the to do this and yeah. You know and then yeah. I just feel a quick turn in the freaking pigs, because there's so many options for food out there, that we just keep shoveling and we just take it all for granted as well one hundred percent, but
I like it- I like it too, but we're talking about getting dinner after this, like we're going to go to a restaurant, sit down, yeah, exactly yeah, not think about it. How good is that an amazing? Not when I come back from this twenty three days. Two dollars. Fantasize night of foods are put the seven in Killester right back on what we think you know just anything like what was the was. The one is the one thing you like as soon as I go, I got like a full work there. You like a jet burger that shift packed yeah and there's a couple of places that mean Kim, usually got home, and I was just dying like I'm bout, salivates I'd like but I always write both the time spent away and the time in civilization. The thing is: achieving balance get gets getting the balance here, yeah yeah, because a civilization is awesome, Jerry to be able to go to a doctor yeah, and we You get away from all that and you out on the walls, then that
fully realized like fuc. How good do we have it? Like you, hop in the car with air conditioning, you drive from point a to point b, like you always think, about how life must have been back in the day like it was. Driving from point a to point, because I want taken Fuckin', awake, dude yeah. Now you just jump in the car and go out at all temperature controlled. You stop at a service station. You get fuel, fuqing, first thing, I'm going to get a drink while I'm in there, you know, like that's just one one sample how crazy it is. Now, when you are in the Bush, when you specially, when you're an in land, you find a lot of pictographs and uh are these yeah 'cause there was such a huge indigenous population up there while they're still there is, but you know you're looking at I put one up, David Icke, it's a video I was just in stories of Jamie might find it. But, main equals are looking at some pain,
and then I looked down in life. There's a whole human reminds talked in the rocks there right wrapped in paper box, which is a jet pilot balking America talk to Jerry. I don't think so. They call a pilot Bach, because it's like that, the Bach ritually rips off like a soft tissue paper, and so some mobs, like indigenous people, would rather sit in this work. The indigenous people called like a group of them right right here, yeah, you were talking a mob of hogs earlier yeah. You said that's about mobs a group of indigenous that's what they call themselves right, yep, that's correct, yep, yeah and does not like to tune like tribe or anything right, complete your Indians and things like, so they they would say like what, when they they and they here I wanted to really get into this 'cause. This is some stuff we talked about at my house next Friday, podcast last time. Oh wow look at those pictures. That's amazing yeah! So there really beautiful right- and now very I don't know if I'd call 'em artistic, because this just seem to be what I did. You know, whoever it's there,
same time, you would've heard about a dream time. So, whenever it's recording their dream time, you know the indigenous would do these rock arts and sometimes they'd be carving. So if you go to like the Dampier archipelago in Western Australia, which is in the Pilbara agent they're all things in rock, like literally scribed in the rock and the day tile that you'd get like it's so hot, describing a rock that get this detail in this rock. That was just amazing days the paintings, where that growing, up different stones and get different, textures and colors and see those handprints, those handprints are being put the hands go on the wall, and then I spray it out of their mouth, so they make like an essentially it's like spray painting and I thought they use in their mouth. Those other one should be painted on and you play some really crazy. Things like I reckon that's a name you that white thing. If you have a good look at it there so paintings on there, that's a picture that I took a couple of years ago now, but there's so many
paintings on there. Now that you have to stare at it for awhile and then pick a different one out, you know like is documented ones. One of about two white fillers that have been to this area in traditional elder took us there like a traditional loan. I took us up there. She couldn't go is there an ninety raising were allowed in? There was because this mob of people that they exist anymore, the last of his passed away, so it was ok to go in there so to take into the full store, I would like beaten down this Bush track for our analysis and pull up a little Craig system and she just sort of pointed out she said. Look if you know if you go up to the up in the air and into a kite evil. Whatever you'll see, you know the the artifacts and everything that's out there in this, so this is on talks. Like cries Leon Texas, bought and I go in there and it's like a freaking lost city by old natural, like rocks just pushed
the ground, and then you see the mouth of the cave and a couple of paintings on it. Then you walk into the live in this cave is six thousand and seventy meters long, it's probably thirty cents. Thirty meters wide and the roofs, probably let's say ten meters pull and the whole way through this cave systems. Those paintings, like you, can't even how they even reach the top of the cave like there's, no big explore anything sitting around anymore. There's still the grinding turns age. I without grinding up the different pints. You know, 'cause, that's what I do that that often working into a paste to paint with that's all still sitting there, and thirty human remains just sitting in the cave in like in a pile there as well, and so the indigenous story goes. You know, and this might be apart
dream thought I want to get this bit wrong, but it might be a part of like a dream, dreamtime story and how it happened. But the dreamtime story is the kids descended off the from the cave down from this garment down under the flat and the kids are told not to kill any serpents like don't kill a snake. You know there are off limits. And the kids go down there and they can't find anything to eat and they fall the serpent like a young snake, so they grab the snake and I cut its head off in a dozen diet, keep squiggling and moving around and then so the cake shop. Alot like shopping in a little bit and it keeps squealing around. I won't die, they bash it with Iraq and it won't die, keep squealing around. Then they from
in a fire in the fire, still doesn't kill it. It's just in pain at squirming and squealing around then the Marva serpent. You know heard this commotion, the kids go back up to the x Cartman into the cave, but the mother serpent comes up and they never used to be a creek there and she come up with such a rage that she carved the creek through the land. So this is how a lot of their dreamtime stories go, and so we carve that creek in that were actually camped on. She went out. She found the people in the cave, the phone, her her young dead, and she fire all the way around him. She raised him into the cave and she burn him out and she burn him to death so that you know that's that's the indigenous story, the The white filler story is the indigenous I'm not saying one's true or ones not true, but uh We had a story guys the White Fella story, that was one of the first cattle stations in the northern territory, Australia and the indigenous were picking off cattle to eight
you know that and I wouldn't have known any different right. It's an animal um and the station owners found this out. They found where the indigenous will live in an I took him food as a gift, but it was all laced with poison and hold on in the cave. So you know there's two two visions of the story. Obviously yeah it's a second one yeah. I don't want to because who freaking knows but well I definitely not that'll make isn't going around lighting fires. Probably not, but I know you say I need you to resemble yeah. If you listen to enough during times stories, you know in the like that were there for a long time. You know he over here now, so they so good at hunting 'cause. You know a lot of people They are the indigenous didn't come up. The bow and arrow they didn't need to like why invite vent something you didn't need no so good with boomerangs and spears, and you know the way that they haunted that they didn't about an hour you know is insane so they're beautiful, rice
still very young to western society. I think we spoke about this last time. I mean: can you find it? How old well- It was like the Norman Tear jewish Drive, really pointy it, because that's the population of indigenous that we're talking about there being thrown into this west into Saudi. You know that way come through slowly with you know that, essentially they were still in the stone age, because you know that's all they needed so within territory. In one thousand, eight hundred and twenty five, the area occupied today in the northern territories, part of the colony of New South Wales, was first told by Europeans in eighteen, twenty four at Fort Dundas Port Essington One thousand eight hundred and sixty three control of the area was given to South Australia. Even that crazy, it's not even two hundred years old, dude, that's crazy, yeah, and so these people
been there for how many thousands of years before that. Let's look that up too 'cause, I don't wanna, get it wrong. Yeah, and one of the things that you were telling me that I thought was really fascinating. We're just hanging out at my house was how many different languages they have yeah yeah, there's like there's over seven hundred dialects, and you could literally have uh of indigenous on this part of the mainland in just a little bit further down another mob of indigenous and they wouldn't speak the same language says: northern territory provides evidence of settlement around sixty thousand years ago. I think it's just blown right out of the water and it's a lot longer than that now really yep. Recently, yeah just yeah. I remember reading something about it. That was that's right with the titles ISIS Super recently like a week ago or something yeah. So this yeah yeah and so there's now findings to suggest that a jeep Oceans come over at some point, especially these two
brothers and one of the brothers story that goes one of the brothers is really sick. And you know he had to look after him and an. I can't remember how it ends, but you know that a jeep sins of comet just because the some of the songs that they found in like those deals like a storied noted down on some rocks and things like that. So it's really crazy. The history behind Australia. When you think of it like that, and when you think of how young it is here, it goes aboriginal, architectural discovery in how do you say that word ka ka? Do oh yeah. I could do rewrites the history of Australia, northern territory, aboriginal people have lived in Australia. Minimum of sixty five thousand years of team of archaeologists has established eighteen thousand years longer than had been proved previously, and at least five thousand years longer than had been speculated by the most optimistic researchers.
Cried the young yeah, pretty crazy, yeah, it's a long time, and this is also a five thousand years today- that story about the day at the Aqaba, Lego area and the people were that's what I mentioned early, that's Rodney, where I have my business and as I I have a seventy thousand raw carts on the archipelago itself. They still don't know significance of at seventy thousand, but there's a that goes, the indigenous that lived on the mainland with so much different, the people that lived on the islands. They called on the canoe people or the boat people that, if those canoe or both they will ever come near the mainland. The indigenous that lived on the mainland would clear out of there might get out of there, because I was so different. The way that leave the way they spoke. The way they looked were so different that it was like four person now scared of Jesus Christ yeah.
It's just amazing how many different dialects it's in sign into your. You were saying that you could just go a couple kilometers away in. They spoke a totally different way. That's correct! It could understand each other. No, I couldn't understand each other, so so, with my business, like I've been very fortunate to work closely with a lot of indigenous people wherever it's on land, where I hunting a lot or it's with my business, because in my business I've got a joint venture with an indigenous business owner which is she's. A lovely woman. She's awesome and I also have a thing where I employ at least twenty five percent indigenous local indigenous people and I actually usually blow that out to fifty percent at sometimes, which is which is awesome. You know important deal it's mandated by a treaty or the government rarely the mining, the mining companies that I work for would prefer an indigenous joint venture owner of twenty five percent.
Then what I've taken on is my threw myself is just. I want the twenty five percent more indigenous employees as well local indigenous people, so I've been even close to a lot of 'em and you hear a lot of their different stories, but one of the things is where my business is the man, the sorry the woman has the psi in the relation everything financial everything like that, but just to miles away why the man has a the complete opposite in the man. Has the psi and everything so like it's just two hours away, but anyway some of these indigenous, you know married into you know someone two hours away like the pill, but agent and they're always like. How can we move back to like on slow with where the man gets to say it's really really funny, but I'm just like, but in my relationship with whoever is the most fuckin' pist off.
The day. I guess you have both been a full, so that's interesting! So if they moved, then they would switch roles, switches and that happens all the time. So they just accept it yeah they just accept it and the whole tribe agree. Yet that's a home that never existed America, it doesn't doesn't run so smoothly there even well, no, not the other rule, and it's really out for a lot of westerners to understand he's I'll tell you one story about old Kevin. Traditional line of that. I got hung up on these land Hayes, but he's been out on can't with me. For you know a couple: will six and he hasn't had any anything but water in like bit of red meat that I've shot him and stuff like that, and fish he's been catching for himself anyway. We've got family coming out and he says you know, gives him little grocery list that they could bring from town for him. Anyway. They bring out the
it's treason like I I'm thinking like he hasn't, you know he hasn't had anything to really during cold. You know I just had the real by six stuff for fair wall. They get. They had not and maintaining the bags, but once I hand it to him, they just start reaching whatever he's grab yeah they're eaten like so. We've got a couple of bottles of coke and all the kids and relatives are drinking the coke and like they leaving with about this much coke, he gets a pack of cigarettes. All these hands go. In my grab cigarettes? He doesn't look at him once like he doesn't go to say like I haven't, had a smoke for a couple of weeks or drink for a couple weeks, doesn't even blink dude or anything just IRAN takes, and they just leave him with a little bit and I think in Fuch, if that was me, I'd be like oi, I haven't had freaking cigarette. On smoke, but I only had a cigarette for a couple of weeks like these up and it didn't
from because that's how they are, but when one of them has something that he doesn't have his quite welcome the reach in and grab whatever he wants as well. They say that was an issue with native Americans as well, that they didn't understand property, yet don't understand property and just sharing is what they do and it's just normal. It was this property thing came out of the Europeans and they didn't understand. So they would do the same thing. It would take the animals or take the food, and it was normal, then you're. So if some It left something some of the accounts European settlers were talked about that. How native Americans seem to have no understanding at all why people would be upset that they would? Someone would take their problem Can you say that in a few of the movies as well? Let you know that kept that, but that something that I was going to say is something to be like I envy it. You know, like we used to talk gone walkabout, and things like that, like a lot of the guys that I would get, would get there first pie and then not Sharpton. The next morning and like come back
two months later and just walk straight into the depot like like a boss. And I'll be like. I haven't seen you for a couple of months, might look: what are you doing here for work? Well, obviously, 'cause that get their pie, their paycheck and I just be happy and go off with, but for those couple of months or whatever and they're not all like that, but a lot of them would do that, and it took me, Long time to understand, especially being a business, and just want everything to run north since move that that's just a lot of them are you know, and it is something to be envious about 'cause. The other thing that would happen. Is in the mind, sites are pushing for indigenous employees. At this time, and I'd, let him out with me employees. Then it'll be a death in the family and a few, like they won't bury their dead until everyone from the mobs there. So
because some of them leave Sci, FI and Bush. You know it could take a week for a funeral or some funerals go for weeks and weeks months, dude and these guys wouldn't show up- and I love the client ringing me up saying you know like what's going on. You guys aren't here today. Well, if you want indigenous employees and indigenous business, this is what happens. You need to understand their culture. Now, there's been a lot of cultural awareness. A lot of cultural awareness is going out there to the morning. So it's that now they're on the saying that as well, so that I know, if there's a funeral on that they're not going to have their indigenous people there anymore, the indigenous people haven't adjusted now that I don't know have to a certain degree on some things, but not a lot, and I shouldn't after we've all right yeah, but when take off they don't get paid yeah you gotta, get work
be quiet, guy goes off on a walkabout and comes back two months later. Just take him back in. I am now yeah. We usually do so now you just it's just cultural awareness, I'm aware of how their culture isn't That's interesting because uh, whenever an invasive culture moves into indigenous culture. This battle right, try to figure out whose whose lifestyle wins out yep and that's decimated the native Americans. I think in all of their cities and more populated places in the strider. Definitely has you know I have it. I've, just been lucky enough to go into some of these remote areas. Where that's not the case still and like I said you looking on you just like I wish I could live my life like that. Yeah, it's like they don't want. They don't want some of those things. We want, you know right Yes, they probably well, I don't know
Maybe they envy some of the ways that we live as well. I don't fucking think so. I think some of them do something. Do you yeah Look at out there out bushing alone, whenever I doubt- and it's just like this is the way I should be lived. It's like there's no rush to do anything called get anywhere and just yeah they just living life dude. Well, that's how you like live too. I mean you like to like just be out like when at your cabin tremendous amount of time at your cabin to sell hunting, pretty for him I know chilling. Now that's the thing about where you live. I mean you have so many invasive species, so much someone dear and pigs. You could just going crazy or anything like that. Yeah, it's amazing! It's all! I do get
analog, CZ wild game constantly there pretty much weddings on my mouth drool dog, so you guys at LA now yeah his wild poor. Can I I Jennison night, those like me, bowls, which alike of which were like at the pig, makes for like three DIS dude his lunch and dinner, so good. All that wild port was awesome and it was. It was an awesome experience to go out obvious that made me self then put it on for like sixty seventy people at the at the well. It's cool, I'm like this is from right here. Right here off the farm. That's crazy, yeah! I know you're living man you live inside need to come over dude, you gotta, kill all those bugs first, Did you say that scorpion that Bitmain? No, that 'cause I've always been like I've, actually never been bitten. I got bitten by like a orb spider on arm once it's an orb spider they're, not too bad, but, like this side went numb all this idea. That's bad dude,
yeah, but it's not like bad luck. It's going to kill you or make you feel sick. You don't feel it yep, so Zhirkov the day before the wedding yeah. That's that's a garden or he's that's the fellow there a bit Maine but they're, not so they're, not too bad, but I've never looked up. I've never looked up scorpions before because I've never been bitten by him and I've just heard a few. Rumors that you can get really sick from the little ones, and I picked out timber walls building that, like the bond that I was doing, an original thought, it was just a splinter that cracked me and then do this hand felt like was about ten times the size like in twenty seconds. Just felt like it was just well enough. It wasn't. It looked fine, but then you could say my veins popping out. You could feel like the poison running at me, Amit come all the way out there, some sort of disappeared ones that got into chest and, like I ran over to the carbon, had me buddy Antonio there and like fucking, look up
We invites right now, like one just crack me an it's excruciating and he looked at off and he's like worst case scenario, have a cardiac arrest, but it's in very limited cases. So I'm like What's the normal case, and it's just excruciating pain for up to two or three days, two or three yeah anyway, once I got into me chairs that sort of disappeared. I did feel a bit nauseous and stuff like that, but and two hundred am in the morning that drifted down into this leg on was it so I'd like woke me up like was just killing Maine like you little fucker there any of this fucking big. So line. Take long. Just tiny little thing like that. That didn't happen, the money thing across. So it's within the crosses yeah. I thought spiders things you can lock it yeah. It's not freaking good, but the die of the wedding while we're all getting ready. Maybe good friend, Ben Chambers they're also over freaking building something still or whatever I was doing.
And I hear a bit of commotion, I look over he's freaking wrestling of spotted blue belly black snake, which we have actually never had on the probably before, and there really aggressive like he sort to try the hold out of a stick. So I couldn't last I can get him like. I got all these people showing up for a wedding, then there's a frigging venomous snake run How venomous is a black snake. I've heard I give you a real bad migraine, but I can the sign like you know you can have cardiac arrest, you can have a bad reaction to it. So there's a lot of shit. I can go on there, but I might eat crabs. This stick and a red bellied black snake will whack you and then usually let go. These things are notorious for grabbing you and just pumping you event and that's what makes him the worst of the black snakes now just grab onto and keep When you examine, I might do a drive by a lot of snakes, do a drive by but anyway, this is like the friggin an hour away from the wedding start doing needs tangle
snake up random. Stick then he, let's it guy like, move away from the cabin and when he let's it go spews up a bloody brown snake and I sent you a video once before of a snake spewing up another snake. These things build up a brands snake and then perhaps makes a super point exactly if I probably should've left it alive, because it's taking care the brown snake population as a taste for what kills she's a lesser price, a cab yeah I mean if it only gives you a headache yeah, but most of the time like in this dry and not slack off, walk, thousands of miles through no never ever had a problem. That's why you need to come out boy? That's not a convincing argument. Come visit, the farm I'll. Take you out to the cabin sounds good. Can I get an armored suit? Kevlar underwear I could put on it seems like it's a good terrible idea. I brought you that Buffalo Skull 'cause, I'm like you fucking, never coming so I'm wiser.
Bring you one of my buffaloes. Well, I would come to Australia. I just I'm not going Buffalo hunting. You guys are out of your fucking mind, pretty safe, crocodiles, now, yeah pretty soon no crocodiles, saltwater crocodile is that this feeling safe. I believe a new things like use. The phone. Hey is paced offstage flattens, Nick at like that tad, it's so beautiful yeah, that's a red bellied black snake out there pretty harmless of God. So pretty I've actually had me head back on the stick before had it was cold rod up the army heading that I lift up and have a look in the grass and he lifted right beside me. I'm like I won't move like. I don't want to get bit and then he just relaxed and chilled out, so you just have to just lay there. Second from the left Jamie. That looks like a spotted. What is that so this has Bluebell it here, but yeah much much of it, yeah that one that bright, shiny, black one above it to the right click on these days. All those guys that are red orange juice, that is a gorgeous creature
It's not uncommon to see a few of them for the summer way. Hunting but like I did that really placid so those are set, but how the do you remember any of five loyal that? Okay, thanks for the exam Andrew you're, cools saws thing on your instagram yet and and then you'll find him on you too, then he's got these video or catches. I think it's too brown, snakes and a red belly black snake and he put him down in rabbit holes and then they chase the rabbits out electronic they trying to get shelter. They chase these rabbits out in the end up catching the rabbit. It's freaking hilarious. So he uses either he's like he's older videos. I just seen it that one they are in the top one. This one of the one above it This one here he's doing something right: rabbits for snakes, not it nah that one there this dude's a freak. Is he
that was a few years ago. Sign where, if you keep doing this, your fuckin' numbers coming up brother. So these thanks or what kind of snakes they have two red belly blacks So those are kill you now I won't kill users had a bad reaction. Yeah there headache, snakes and jacking him. Well, one of them is trying to now it's getting a bit revved up, Yeah he's just walking he's got some serious control, so when they lift up the strike, he drop some down a little bit. You know 'cause, they can't fight against their own weight like that at did you go. Another one grab, it he is someone the writings. Are you in his hand what the fuck,
along with this dude? This is your buddy yeah? It's my buddies about Hunter. Now he doesn't hunt and why should he hide snakes, fuckin' hands wearing gym shorts, dude? He he, he John Africa, maybe a couple of years ago he chases a pride of lions off a fucking kill. What chase is a pride of lions? Bluffs them out come on elephants, chase him down dude and he outruns elephants play something in time. Did you have a death wish, I think it does not he's got some screws loose can taste of a gun- so he drops the snakes down the whole drowned. This run out. You draw some down home, then what does he grabs, rather rather yeah? So how does I am running to and then on the actual one of the other
hang around with just watched him wrestle a full size, Bull Buffalo, what yeah they pretty much! He lasted this ball. And on film, and this is on his last time, Buffalo a water Buffalo like the one that you have the slightly invited ones, yeah giant Fokker, yep Haley This is one of those, but because the how the horns are, you can only get Lassoo around one horn, so it comes off made. It along video? It misses him by. I don't recognize a couple of feet: thing is on his arse, but he can run, but I'm like dude one and you are fucked up- How fast is a water buffalo, falls off their shoes yeah it might just head like just the white in the head. It could squishy body in half ever got you against the ground or a tree, so imagine the rest of it
call Bodi White grown and you did attorney in the freaking pepper. What's the end game for this guy like? What's he doing his for for thrill? I think tons of stuff with your mother of back pain done such and outdoors. His look at this monkey having to route in the back. So this is Africa, it's not so its name. I go to the sample clip. What is he doing? He's gonna change, one of the Roach Wild Baboons Focke, how Jesus Christ. Why is he chasing baboons travels? Will fuck you up? Hey nearly dies on this trip, something by a team or something get something like God, so he just chased off all these baboons by running at him. This is Not seem wise what turns me more than anything is that other people are going to copy this guy is, one hundred percent yeah because he obviously is very skilled. I mean, if you could call it skilled, knowledgeable. What's the word he's done it
or is for experienced hit here comes this product line bit Christ. Will he turned it back on? okay, It's got no shirt on folks, he's wearing gym shorts and he's this volume. So I can hear this crazy. Fuc talk in that last bit of footage. You could see me rolling but even then these animals understand that I'm a protocol they understand, but look at me with my two legs. My two arms standing upright my vision forward these animals understand that I'm a potential threat to them or not food, I'm afraid
A fresh pot, crazy one of those lines is the guy Disney's, the guy. I know you're, not yeah travel. I'm ready to put this down. Yeah Ali mean that you should paper skin, that we have covered in water, balloon blood that we called body. They use the terror, and I've been like for him Bob things of right now, often when nothing man of Jesus. What is the deal and flies? You have a cry: dial put the lasso around a fuckin' crocodiles, guys, crazy. If you did the coconut, he felt a coconut yeah. Why do you feed a coconut. Like to put it in its mouth. So it can't bite. Ok, volume is crazy. They must be in Africa whose you can't. Oh
status today. This is what I did the same thing. I start talking animals and I'm like fucking. They don't understand. English is now just tell him to calm down or not fucking eat. You still doesn't even have shoes on losing pressure over crocodile is around three one. Slash two thousand pounds per square inch. Compare this to us humans and it's only two hundred per square inch and you'll soon realize why this guy deserves the title as nature you got a quick look. I cannot this. Crazy fucker has a coconut in the crocodiles mouth and he's trying to get the crock another crack a coconut forum Jesus. Awesome yeah. So what does this tell you for a living, fucking, Youtube and stuff of I don't know some network tickled, tickle tickle,
I think there is actually a real nomad to tell you the truth. Really yeah just lives out in the bush. Yeah Jesus, but I mean it doesn't have to feed himself like ' yeah. He job Hayes. He doesn't crazy. Shyt he's about to do some massive track, dude with nothing and just walk through some wild country And so one of the reasons why he was in Autumn Lynn with me up north 'cause he's trying to learn off the indigenous about a lot of the Bush Tucker like a lot of the food that he can find out in the Bush, like yeah names and different like fruits and stuff like that he knows all the wildlife stuff that he can eat, but the indigenous is spent. You know, along time, trying to workout what they can incarnate and there's heaps of things that you can eat They gotta be boiled for a certain amount of period. You can only eight to this far into it.
Things like that. I voiced sucking cock it dude, there's a I don't know if it's a root or a type of fruit and you definitely can't eat it my crush it up and they put in the water, and it takes a lot to do now- the water and all the fish float obscene and South America yeah yeah yeah. So imagine how long it took to work out the actually the like. That's crazy, isn't, let's not thing that they eat in Bolivia, yeah. I heard that I haven't done it's a route that if you eat it raw, it's super talks Yeah the whole really involved, process where you have to you have to. Soak it, and then you have to drain it very similar to cook it, and then it turns it into there's. Actually cyanide that comes out of it yeah see if you can find the video Jamie on preparation of Casaba and
but this cassava is apparently Rinella was telling me about it. That's it was ranallo. I've read about before, but Ronald was telling me how poisonous it is that the stuff that they? it has to look like. Does her wishes? Look that good, like birds, gay lovers that looks like so they have these markets around the campsite you've got to find a better video than this. This Castlegate all recipes recipes that I mean someone preparing our yeah well, there's really involved process in order to cook it yeah yeah we get it right or you're dead, you're dead, yeah, just amazing I figured this out, so you have to do all, stuff to it and prepare it and the actual buckets liquid. They were saying when I was talking about how they just leave them around the camp and he was like would have a kid.
So it's like they don't so she's cooking it up just get some way to anyway. But yeah I mean how long did it take them to figure out that if they can grind that plan and throw it in the water at Fishel, many people died, eating their cells 'cause. It looks like a fruit and there's so many in the australian outback that look. And smell, and even taste good, but man I'll, kill ya. Is not crazy when you think about the trial and error involved in figuring out what you can and can't eat yeah motherfuck yeah. Now we've got all these books least it takes takes pastry out of stuff like that. But even then people screw it up Fishel, all the time with mushrooms yeah, ideally did it the other day. There's one that it's sort of tastes do an apple but a little bit like on the outside is an unripe apple. It's completely edible, there's, I have one that looks nearly exactly the sign of it drops the same pink flair at the bottom of its got, this little spike that comes off at and
I've been walking around eight hundred and these other ones 'cause, I didn't have hardly any food and then I'm like. Oh there's, a freaking whole heap of me when I grab them and just room in the backpack, but that is what a whole cracked an eye open in just four. She does the sign to Even then I smelled it and straight away is not the same time. It didn't have the same seeds or anything, but how quick of a mistake to make and that one second one that grabs really freaking poisonous. Do so it's like, oh yeah. I need to carry a Bush talk with me, but at least those books at him now who they see, someone playing with yeah I've. Seen, though, why eighty five yeah the Usm for Sushi apparently like the really skillful sushi chefs they slice through this thing and filet it, but what the fuck, smallest mistake in preparation could be fatal, but Tokyo City's government is plan to ease restrictions that allow only highly trained and licensed chef to serve the dish. Fuckall that will just have it fuckin' ate some normal
this yeah I'm crossing tony crazy assholes, but I think it's for people they like a thrill of knowing that the reading something that could kill you yeah, you know if, if prepared correctly, this sounds like a they'll come Montana. So how do that taste knowing well all the way through it? Well, because all stop in one hand right you can you can. I have limited food with you. And then, even though I come out of the wall, you know for like come into town and bought the bullets. I didn't go, storm be like I'm going to light off in a hateful by the food and shit for me that was going to wreck the trip you know. So I just go into town grab the bullet yeah fuckin'. Would you wanted to live off the land I did yeah? I wanted to live off the land. You must have brought some food with you right, yeah like so the first I'll be the first eleven daylight pretty good. You know bring with you. They are dry, two meals. You know little energy bars just 'cause. He's going to be light, you know so most
I think, with dehydrated or just like a light type of food. As simple as simple as is, and then I hate to talk about they're. Not that light, but fuck you native when you're out there. You need to pack that energy back on in Cape town so hates the chocolate bars and then specific. Ones to use or just anyone you can get chest whatever I can get just regular chocolate or a snickers she'd like that yeah calories, just calories, half the chocolate bars in America. I don't even know what they are and then I mop, and I'm like how that shit. You know because it's so different back in this drive, but we do have sneakers but who got a Mars bar. You know Mars by here. It's called a milky way. Now we have Mars idea, I couldn't find them anywhere near me, favorite there more I did. I am also went the wrong store, but I bought milky ways which are different. History as well and there's more similar to Mars bar so but yeah, so the first
and I pretty well, but I'd still, if I could spare food like if I could shoot a grouse elite that if I come across bear rasalaite those and I sort of had contact with April Vokey. Who's like in outdoors and fly fishing stuff? She knows a lot about Australia being cast yeah and she's she's hard with us a few times, and I mean I get along like a house on fire, so it works out good, so how hot fire good health? You don't have that sign EVA get along like a house on fire. That seems like a terrible way to get along gels on fire. Your furious, the fox it's a new one, you of those we don't like had they even come out with that down right there hold on from you know, like jump, the gun did actually jump the gun yeah. Well, that's a jump in the starting block already sent Bangla designed by John, the noise, no
well, it makes more sense to get along like a house on fire unless you, the fire, 'cause you I'm burning up the gun blazing so opera could look at it, that as well, so we're going to yeah so Piper was sort of my go to person like if I had reception I'd. Take, oh, don't be like this. The worst thing is 'cause. Sometimes she be busy I'd be collecting hopes of them like I'd need them. She be like. Definitely not and I'll be like fuck, but most things just from taste and a few things I already knew, but there'd be some there is especially at highway? Those bears were saying that Grizzly in Colorado there was he's everywhere and that's always the weather bands. With that, okay yeah you what you ate, those berries, yeah it just icon electric and has berries blueberries, there's those rose nips do know those.
That they don't look at it and they're pretty hard, but they're really good for you. But if you eat too many of now make you feel itchy itchy here, which I never felt but I didn't want to get to that point like walking around hunting. They like really they make you itchy institute. Thirty crack. What's the word? What's the word that you use Bush something Bush Tucker Bush Tucker? What does that mean? Taka, fuckyou, Americans native Let's crafter shut up your mold, you fucking mall. I did not say Fuckin' as in ing it's going to be in on the falcon. You say: again. We would say I and then put apostrophe right fucking here, I think that model
can mall yeah then again. Yeah I was trying to say is that okay, right into perfect you'd get Ross have to get used to drive around side of the road. Now it's the rise on who should host. But, yes, I approve my go to Tucker. What is that mean now Bush telling his food, so Food Bush Tucker talk as food talk, talk a talker yeah talking yeah, let's go get some Tucker. Yeah, let's go get some talk alike will go, get some talk. Have you ever heard that young Jamie now that is, you know like this- is normal. It is very normal for who, for water is drying like a dialect, you picked up in the outback. No, it's pretty normal food. Thank God for girls, so called push food. Is any food native to Australia and use a sustenance by the original inhabitants, the Aborigen Australians, but it could also native four or fauna, flora or fauna, so
but that was something. Did you pick up from the indigenous people? No, I think I'll, just right, like that? You know it just says: yeah phrase yeah obviously grew up in the bush, Tucker is. The woods Marlu, is what you call a kangaroo yeah there. Indigenous names, their marlou bar dura. What does that word that looks like it the magpie gase, and what is that one one, zero again. What is a? How that word? Yeah I'll the luxury? That's a name, you yeah right, yeah and so do the people of the indigenous people they date. Cameras, yeah, yeah kangaroos wallabies go in and see every kangaroo, yep yep sounds like it's very rich Redmond like a really really rich red meat, good, that's delicious yeah.
Super lean like there's: no fat content toward or old, and so do you buy it in a store. You can what the fuck is that man that push it yeah. That's not right, yeah, it's both how's, the bullshit, the guys holding death wasn't talking real problem, it's a real grown up, I don't know like a wood which driver Witchetty Grub, liquidating so it's not really that big. Now, why not that? What's that, they would grab said they'd, be which he grabs a good Grubbs, hold on so you see those. Oh that's good, Grubbs like you go eat those you have you seen that video let's push down here in the grubs, when I build in the cabinet on stripping the bark offered, you'll see all those grubs and I get when I could come up and ate and ate them just like peanut butter make but better. It taste like peanut butter, yeah, really, probably better than peanut butter. What kind Do you guys have in Australia today pretty good? What is that a honey and honey and sugar ants? Those are good.
Yeah? Maybe those yeah, and if you run out of like a Will you know if you want to drink and you're out in the bush. Then, you? Boil your water and then you'd get a heap of those in for honor life and your dip 'em in your hot water, and it like makes like an ice tea. But it's like sweetened already from the ant. They carry like a sugary taste on 'em, oh so that little thing on there, but is actually honey yep they have a little Bob yep pack. Well any well, it's not really honey, but it tastes like honey. Really yeah looks like honey, the idea. Well, what is it I'm pretty sure, be the line they can produce honey wow! That's crazy, though the body that's their am do essentially right. Yep so looks like those black things. Let titles later- and I am in- is settled as a separated rather we'd. Look at cycles are not already yeah. It's going to someone for something. Yeah That's so strange, so tiny, strange 'cause, we don't eat it, but imagine those things were grown
on a farm or an harvested for mass production. No different, then L'Amour. I know what insects do we ate, none which is freaking weird? Why would we ate insects? They figure people are starting to ask Rick. Yeah and frogs and but crickets being bugs You know a lot, a lot of people, a cricket, Sis, Datang Cricket pop protein powder, it's very popular in America yeah. I can now take a look. I shouldn't say very like this: to pay full single American was becoming more popular. They have. I I think they have a nice cricket protein bar that you can buy. I haven't tried them yet, but it's in the Mexico, but I've heard good things about it, but I've been in Mexico and we went to this resort and when you check into your hotel room, they have like a little bowl of fried. I think it's really like with chili powder and stuff, proudly strange. What is that the company and they sell cricket? Oh ex? Oh, what's this got damn
ads so Exo. Exo skeleton is the correct understand why we wouldn't eight, but we should say Well, you not only that but vegans should eat him, because it's a great way to get b12 an most people really care that much about bugs. Yes, like it did. The think. The thing about vegan seems to be sentient. Animals and worrying about killing these feeling life form yeah, right, yeah and if they, if that's the way, they feel they can be far how fear eating mollusks mollusks you're, a big one. They don't feel shitan they're fucking stupid, like marks they say or dumber than plants yeah like their more primitive than plants. The fact that they moves, which freaks people out yeah it does a vegan eat a Venus Flytrap. Would they eat that and moves to plant hunger move. They just take a load on the moving gradually but cricket a really good source of protein. So if someone wants
get animal or some sort of living proteins, particularly particularly like the the nutrients amino acids you can get from that kind of protein. Just look into insects. Don't die you I'm going to start my own insect farming to it bear Chuck. This is how you become a millionaire seems like a tough sell. I mean trust me, I suppose, for fire, so why the fuck is a tough sell. We eat and little lambs Well, not only tells yep yep thanks, try we're eating kangaroos and how 'bout crabs investors, which are basically bugs live in the water, yeah crickets in particular,
good! I'm telling you man. I was grabbing on those crickets in Mexico yeah. It had like a nice chili powder on a ride in like like so they collect crunchies yeah. They were kind of salty little savory and they were good like they would like. I would buy him yeah. That sounds good. These crops and I'm talking about add a delicious right here on the line money. Not a full delicious, it's just the full Delicious, that's something that big Australian say: full fully full amazing, fully sick! fully sick, mad count, is Firefly by fire log. And then from there saying that, and there were like: where can I get mad country you're my account bj or nice count or a bad country and the shirt that everyone wanted to actually get one printed out, but it didn't come in time. I was going to wear it. He just said just being nice. Can it's as simple as that?
Well, you guys are very different. Use of the word. Can't yeah is like a good dude well well, Canby or If you stay mad, if you say mad, can that's all that's a compliment bad. But if you like, your focking can right now it's interesting! You have much more range with. The word can't do a lot of Australians like, even though you're going to say yes or Oh they always like yeah, so they stop yeah and they're like no yeah. No, no, yeah yeah yeah! I like that. Going down. Here is not one, that's a good one yeah or if you then go Tengo you!
shake your head? Yes, but you say no. That meant that I give a fuck. You pick what you want, so you see you're nodding. Yes, I know yeah, like a movie like you know like this swimsuit, you know and I'll be like no. You might you might not shaking whatever then going outside yeah, whatever the fuck, I say, doesn't matter anything like she's going to get what she wants. Yeah I developed an amazing ability to not listen when someone's talking. That's what I've been doing, this whole shot a man. I don't be with you. I mean again why I could
I can hear they talk about stuff that I I look especially my wife gets together with our friends that they can have a conversation. I could be a right there. I don't! I don't hear a yeah. It came in a field this year and cheer each other flat. Colors like there is like talking you anti social on like now, I'm not anti social. Just time to talk about everything, I'm quite happy Sydney quietly, I just think, is a very big by a lot the difference between the way women like ten women, specially guy, like you who does so much hunting where it's very valuable to be quiet. Yeah. I've actually had some inside of Maine like that on variant, social and it's like you're, not They didn't hanging out with first and stuff like that, and his friends hunt yeah they do, but I like hunting solo like I just, but it's not like a always that I'm like I'm, not fucking, taking humor, I'm not inviting him or whatever, but I'm
happy to do it alone. So, if I'm planning the trip, I don't necessarily plan around someone else is time or something like that, so they think you're, antisocial, because I wouldn't do it well, yeah and they're a little bit like they also like how can you got there by yourself like that, like don't you get bored or you don't you miss talk the someone or whatever and then- and it's taken me is to figure it out like? Why am I so comfortable being by myself or not saying a word in a crowd of people that are talking or, and you like? my past growing up, but a lot of it's been from my past grown up, and log of nailed it it's like. I grew up with people that were supposed to be loved ones. Didn't show I love at all. In fact, they taught you the complete opposite. Instead of taking trust, they taught distrust, because this is supposed to be a person, that's close and treat you well and they funding Can you log sheet? So you slowly start moving away from so main con in the sense where
when you start Association, p, associating people with a negative feeling exactly and so the way that I'd get traded growing up was I'd, be better off bombing you know I'm better off Sipho Kims, auto wreck that now, but geography is now you know not to trust people and people had fuqing, actually dangerous and stuff like that. So I'm happy being off by myself and doing my own thing and then, like I said now, It's different. I got my own family and I know the complete opposite. I trust and love and everything like that, but this is also the hunting thing for you that when you're hunting, you're, just locked in on the task at hand to a degree definitely yeah. So you you, don't want someone with you, that's going to mass and world in nine days or not. No, because I'm not a self back. That sort of sounds a little bit selfie!
now I don't mean it that way. I don't mean it that way. What I mean is that like you're focused now, even though you don't need anybody else, but when you're focused you, don't you really don't need anybody else, it's just the tent site and it just you against the elements. Yeah yeah. I I think it's that it's pushing myself it's. I love the fucking world like it's just as simple as that and jar, like always feel like like, I love the society we live in in this whole system, but it's not the system that are designed to me self right, like I'd love to go back. Fuckin' ten thousand years Dude Jesus and be living there whenever she bother fuckit all right arrows would be indigenous to Australia. Would you run around his beer and boomerang to you? Do you be happy with that? All hell yeah? I would we have without not knowing what I know it. I said this is the thing we came that for me now, like I wish you could just be a real in Gnostic, no good look and, and then you know, I'd be
I am gonna walk about right, hi come on. That's a funny expression going walk about! That is a funny expression, walk about yeah! You yeah well that 'cause. I would take him so far to get from wherever they were. You know, 'cause I'd travel, a lot, there's actually there's there's some hard evidence now that indigenous Australians, because there was a symbol, like right down on the EAST coast of Australia. The same Zach symbols go all the way up the coast of the northern territory. This is a five day drive by the way that the indigenous would walk that. It is a try. Yes, I would walk about like Kevin used to walk from community said that's bill, but destroying government to house the indigenous people. Then I also. I have. We call it on country but like it out community just for Heath bob on his land, you know so Kevin is a traditional owner Jesse. He's modeling he's land, they would walk. That would take him five days to walk it
and then so, if they went out on country for a wall and haunted and stuff like that would say they spend another twenty thirty days that they might be longer than another. Five, guys walk, you can see why they called it. Walkabout disappeared. Let's have the science come up when you go away for a long time, is you've gone walkabout 'cause, they'd literally walk that distance they'd be out on country. For certain man appeared and then come back. So that's why I've sort of uh it as well like when I go walkabout along came a fair bit. The yeah I idea of driving five days that they could walk it, and now these are different. We were talking about all the different dialects. Different tribes of people. Now, what the hell did they do with they encountered difficulty once I have that be war and stuff like that between truck between mobs they'd be war. Things like that, because that I think In most cases, they try am avoid it and that have like their corridor that they walk through, but they
all had their own land. What they thought of pretty much cook. I can't say that had their own lane because there's so many indigenous mobs that there- and there was so many differences between them some of them would just pure nomadic. You know, and just today have written language. I don't know, I think, they've written language freaking, don't quote me on this was like the time in the paintings and everything like that and everyone tells him a story what's getting lost, is the truth elders that no those stories and they gotta pass it on to the next generation. So this is their story. This is their paintings. Tell the story goes when it gets. Lossed is when the mobs initially dies out. You know, or it's not passed on for the generations. That's just so crazy- that there's an enormous population of people and their stories not being told that same side when I think about it. In one sense, it seems really sad, but in another sense
didn't matter to anyone else, 'cause, it's just those people's language and their stories. So if they die gone with him anyway, yeah, but it's still just for the historical record I think, would be great for Hume just the human. I definitely understand that this is really a very little understood, with human beings. Don't you hate that the mysteries getting taken out of everything, though, like it's good to have all that information like gallon Google and find out frigging the age of the the ice age, or something like that and which is awesome but also cancels out all the mystery like. We know that there's no other sort of monster, crocodile in the waters anymore, because the whole world like right at our fingertips. Instead of being a I would have that mystery now mind. Like I wonder. What's at the back there, you know, that's why I felt like there's no more frontiers. I love colon animal and the last frontier in places like NW territories last front
because there's hardly any humans out there, but the truth is, it's all been discovered. It's all! Imagine being documented. I see that that you got some real wanderlust dude. You got somebody who is in Clark Type Shit. That's why like I wish I could go back in like there's no way discover anymore, like Stewart Mcdonald is he was an alcoholic, who's the exact they have real famous early explore, or that come into Australia and Australia was convinced, so the people of Adelaide were convinced. That's where the first elements were that there was an in land ocean in Australia, because there's all these rivers running out from the center of Australia and it couldn't be the opposite as you let's hold fuckin' desert, but they in and out of there so many times, and so many men died and Mcdonald Stewart himself nearly died. A couple of times from starvation and no water, because now walking in desert in the end. He was successful and hand
walking all the way through to the top of Australia. Dude there's not fucking water. Until you get The top of this try. How did it get so we get through it, but imagine being back then, when there was all that mystery like there was that you were thinking there was an inland lotion in Australia because of these rivers run out, but those rivers, uh rivers, that millions of years old and for so many hundreds of Disney is, I haven't, even ran on top of the surface, I run under the sand in the rocks, those rivers so crazy to think, but some of the stories is he's, got an awesome book. He and also because he's long gone but there's also book out running, called Mister Stewart's track an there's one point: 'cause indigenous like. I had never encountered indigenous and things like that as well. They walk into the center of Australia, where it was highly populated with indigenous people know why people had ever been in there no settlers before they will literally cutting the first try.
And drawing the maps to and like they walk in the one spot and like there they've been three days or something without water, like they're, on the brink of death, and they think it's like a very cool, there's like a little well out there like a clay built well out in the middle of nowhere, and it's got this Chris water in it by Kate, the cattle and horses bicos cattle and horses would smell water and just go in there and trash it before the men could get there. So it kept the cattle and horses that by like going, they're on campaigns and fill a mop and drinking. You know all the man I just get as much water as I can. Then they will let the horses and cattle guy said I can have a now the horses and cattle come in there and they trample this whole. Well, like it ends up going back to dust 'cause, they cave it all in their drink as much water as they can and the water, pretty much dissipates. Then I write out for three or four days and I can't find
and they run out of the water they collected their. They turn back to their and might even longer it might have been a couple of weeks and modeling on the way back after not being able to go any further and they come back there and there's all these aborigines their dead. Because the aborigines were that would put the well in the welling. They walk, dies and dies, and that would we have a water source at the last point let's just go: they knew water was there they drink, they would be able to make it the next three or four days for the next bit of water. They get there. It's fully caved in. They can't get their water there's a whole mob of indigenous people dead there. They new. They couldn't go on any further released, all the ones that were dead dad knew they couldn't go on any further and they I got there and there's no water. There was no world there anymore, like the cattle, it just trampled it. One thing like as if that's not crazy enough, The one thing that I always think about is
dragon indigenous people coming across these who've prints like that 'cause there's, nothing in Australia. You gotta think the biggest animals running around Australia, were like kangaroos dude. That have these little toad legs and then they come across these massive prints for the first time that I've just devastated. They lost drinking hall before they move on to the next place. Crazy stories in this so there's no way to dig down deeper to reach. Right well, I guess not. I guess at that point. Yes, so you already so I tried it, but you will come to a point that you think that there's water, because you build a well in the next, not anymore, not that the idea very much doubt I would give not because they are hardy people but whatever tried to do obviously wasn't enough: fucking white people, noise and that horrible story if people ruin everything. I hate to say: we've done a lot of good God, wrong, yeah, why people yeah, but man, but so The mystery behind Fuckin' just walking into the
interest, even though it's a horrible mystery to go through you, That's I mean at least I haven at the guy walking in the middle of the stria thinking I'm going to go in there, fishing there's an inland ocean somewhere, and you never come across that you're in the middle of the desert, but at the same time it takes away all the mystery in life. You, you look at things way different than me because you that wanderlust you got you have that I want to go out and find the hidden things yeah. I don't have any of that. I like it. Okay, Where is the water? No, no show me on a map, water. Ok, what kind of it meant do we need what are we doing to have backup gun we get charged? It's like you and I are very different in that regard. I have no desire to go to uncharted territory, not even the right. It's not the risk, that's appealing. What is that? Does the wanderlust? It just. They didn't wanderlust that finger system that put wanderlust
drop it before that I took photos of a lot of people have asked like. Where is that? But For me personally, I'd like to keep that undocumented, because it seems once a place is known as no different than a good fishing or hunting spot. It gets fuckin' ruined and that cave system, for starters, is not up to Maine 'cause. You know that would be up to the traditional owners do you want to put that out there for people to go and look at it's not up to me. So I can't share that information. But for me Personally, I don't want that to be documented 'cause. I know as soon as the documented rubbish will show up there, some dick kids will shop there and spray pain or scribble on it and want to write their own racial. Some shit like that some places are better off and uh. Commanded. Well, the human race has got to evolve past that and that's a big order
yeah very tall order, but God we've got involved, pass that want dude is, but I don't have cable and bad people forever going to mean right, but I think there's more good people now than ever before. If only more informed people now are before we just got to keep progressing, yeah along the same lines, and I think that progress is accelerating, and I would just hope that more people in the future would have more appreciation for what that is, is this like this incredible historical resources you see in these mean we're talking about sixty five thousand years of people in this area. Who knows how old those paintings yeah yeah it could be thousands of years old I mean. Is anybody done like a carbon dating on the morning? Show their husband yeah, I'm sure, there's a bunch of stuff? They find those in Texas, sometimes from native Americans, to find him in like caves yeah, you just find a cave. System, and then you just encounter these when I was hunting in New Mexico. We start at.
There and then like? I didn't want to hunt and the hunt was done. Sorry, I didn't have any tags left. I didn't want the experience to end. You know, well, I said it's never been about. You know just killing an animal, that's about the whole adventure. The whole package, and uh. I was with an outfitter and the guides like I tagged out. What do you want to do? I'm like well, let's exploring guy walking still and just I'll take photos of the countryside or whatever you put that open your blog to write those in the magazine, but we're not using that one on the red that actually Moby on both sides. Com. Ok, I think I did a live. One n garland top of this so and you can see these rock like a huge rocking, you shakes, which used to be like the Anna Sozzi Indians. That's how I used to have their housing and stuff like that perfect What brought up how I looking down on to these big meadows, I would have been the perfect place to if all the tribes to come in you'd be out,
SAM and if any animals are welcome for moving free, they had to be out of SAM. Just that perfect spot. We get up there and, as I get to talk to first thing, a phone is a bunch of pottery, and the anasazis? Had a certain color, I think it was the white with the black on the pottery and the Navajos had the orange with the white riding on the pottery and there's both types sitting in this area. So I don't know if there's a bit of confusion old, maybe I'm lacking a bit of information there, but as far as I've look you know the Nsrz, Indians and the hallway or any like. This must have been some major site dude. I found the perfect I'm broadhead, just sitting right there on a rock and it just rained. So everything was clean. Like everything was clean, I picked it. And, like my mind, boggled straight away like why. How did this get here? Who held it? Did they show read it who sharpened it: the history behind it '
and what then so we kept walking around. I found a fool axe head dude, like obviously the team was going off the air 'cause it's been there for so long, the timbers, just rather than the nothing the axe head sitting there perfect. We end up falling three axe: heads indian pendant, you know if the per little hole like scribe dinner and just like crazy dude. Did you bring that back? When you put those privately handles, I will be able to take it take photos of the Broadhead yep, Let document does those fascinate me. I was nearly going to give you the broader down like that. Taking it to flushing final deserve it. You can add the box go like I shed a tear just part with that Buffalo Skull and let you keep talking to Buffalo skills doesn't matter, they all mean something. Last week they all mean something to me saying today. He killed like ninety days this week,
that's the cat things freaks people out of Australia, dog freaks people as well, but while down nice, different and shooting a quiet here are problem animal. You know them thing as one of the first. I believe one of the first introduced species in the dryer and it come with the indigenous population. At some point, so they came with indigenous yeah yeah, so, indigenous probably got there. Wild dogs is dingo. Sorry is price of Mont Dingoes anymore, because there's been a wall dog population, that's sort of peppered through there as Well Dingo and normal dogs, like a domestic dog, that's gone wild had now. Bread- and I pretty sure. The only place you can find a purebred Dinga now is on Fraser Island in Australia. They've got a policy regulations that there's not allowed to be any domestic animals taken to the island. Also, the population stayed pure, oh wow. So If you live there, you can have a dog hello,
you can live on the island at all. Oh it's one of those things. Yeah, it's kind of weird rules go alright, where rules is that you can't hide anything native, that's very strange to me yeah, but they wouldn't but you have some kangaroos around some of our currency, so there like out icons. So imagine eating your bald eagle like eighteen year, american icon. Probably so that's why I look at it. Can I check in but we Connie the kitten is offering one bats or anything like that. Now, not that I'd probably wondering, but people do, he can grow the That's why I'm confused and indigenous what's a dingo wow, the fries are owned, although a and so that's a look at him on the right red shooting go yeah, it's a beautiful dog, it does feel like you could take. That thing is puppy and raise it. Somebody who had one Gowdy's little girl like trying grabbing. Google
he had as a puppy or is not is not the law, one that come into the tent on the ground? Well, there's one written a wall of media and then, So what happened? Hannah killing the dog he founded, next morning that shoot movie Bio is a wild dingo, but Dingo my baby, and I reckon that some truth to that. Oh yeah. I've seen how sure they go fishing. Jesus, Christ. Wild Dingo eating a shark on a beach. That's a cool as a gangster, ask dog wanting looking sharp it's a lot of meat in there. I wonder if someone actually caught and that's another thing that people are freaking out about here in America: it's most recent freakouts people off fishing and catching sharks. It's time Stride it you get used to be able to buy mako shark. It was very common. Get my grocery store, dude, most flake in the stuff. Bond shock. You know
when you buy like a bad habit of fish or something from one of the quick tag wise it does fish and chips. Yeah, then most of that's actually flake, which is just the shark really yeah yeah. No, no, no, specific, Australia! No! Probably here to do that. Do you think they're serving up a lot of shoulders heaps of them and there's a ton of them they're getting the next nets? That's where they go really taste good. I've eaten mako shark for his delicious lunch swordfish, it's a sign with anything as long as we're not for can kill a man. Well, you know what happens. Is people find out that a lot of people are killing them for fans? Okay, warning your sh. Your fish and chips could really be shark. Damn If you are a bad mother, Floyd this blood destroying in law nine bogan bargain he could figure out into his driver last night, like bogus yeah cashed up Bogans. Did you tell me that you might have took that expression? I wouldn't think you talking smack far right so, but I think
happen was over here. The people found out about how many sharks get killed for the fans yeah. I can shock fin soup and it was a big campaign to alert people about it, and so then the people that have a a but just barely a peripheral awareness of conservation and fishing and and animal life. Then they started going to church charges were telling stories they're. Meanwhile, the eating a card exactly having some salmon for lunch on their salad. Would you eat this fish shark called the dog fish makes a tasty taco yeah. I need that suck out of a dog Hill Maine, still a fish. I mean it's not a fish shark, but I just don't understand why people would differentiate between that and to not how about you ask holes. It really love sushi back black off the tuna, because they're killing, all the God Dam tuna, yeah, there's, probably more sharks. There are two now yeah yeah, some pretty strict regulations in Australia. The whole world needs it, though, like a tiger
no there's so there's some regulations that are come into the normal teravista right now, 'cause. You can actually shoot a magpie geese with a bow and arrow, so is magpie geese and in this introduced turkeys like what you guys have here in the states, the only bird that you can shoot with a bow and arrow in Australia. So really they just brought in a season for Magpie Geese, which really drinks a lot of the hunters taken too many, which is fine. I think that's probably not a bad thing, but then these birds fly to other countries where there's no restrictions at all and they just fucking get hammered dude. So it's like we're doing everything we can on our part, but they just go somewhere else and get slaughtered anyway. Well, I don't understand no, they don't run Australia issues with the shocks as well like there's a few species that are highly protected in Australia, but they swim abroad and their fair game for anyone nobody's great whites, though right, not that I know of, but I guess people would
their star, but I would visual, I mean if it's probably just fish, it tastes pretty good, but I think that give up too easy that that's another monster leaving Monsta DA yeah. You know legit monster yelp. He There was a instance in San Diego a few years back where these a bunch of these people were training for a triathlon and there swimming in the ocean and one out of nowhere just came and cut. This guy in half right front of everybody else, just bid him right, at the waist miscarry scary, shot him them right in half chomp besides conserving their live shark meat can be terribly unhealthy. According to CNN report from nearly twenty years ago, the mercury levels and sharks can cause coordination, laws, blindness and even deaths. Scientists think that sharks accumulate mercury in their body because they eat many smaller fish. That's interesting why you shouldn't eat shark meat it doesn't come mall and have alot of mercury in it as well. I don't know they say
I like a lot of the don't like to eat Marlin yeah, but I've heard Marlins good I think, a lot of those big fish specially the printer, the ones are full mercury makes sense. Yeah I mean it's like is in general, have a lot of weird things going on with their body. If you eat them, like mountain lions, give you trichinosis interesting study. It says at the top of the article an estimated one hundred million sharks are killed each year to feed consumer demand, and then the study came from a report of one hundred and twenty four sharks that were tested in one slash. Three of them came in with mercury levels that were over FDA action level of one part per million so far out of about one hundred million sharks every year. One hundred and twenty four had sort of those were problematic. So thirty sharks were problematic, so forty and how many? But they didn't test that many though right yeah, I mean they didn't test. One hundred million that test at one hundred and forty were bad. Oh, that's not good! That's not good at all. Third, it's real bad.
Yeah, that's a terrible, doesn't say: maybe they were all in one area to they could have came out of one shady Arianna? What I've told this story a hundred times, but I'll say it again just quickly. I I had arsenic in my body of from when I did a blood to They said what are you eating and I said I eat a lot of sardines and the guy said back office already and will try again in a couple of weeks and the artistic was she, two cans of sardines. I love sardines. Why I like sardines on top of King mackerel, swordfish EPO, do not eat shark swordfish, King mackerel or tilefish because they contain high levels of mercury. I've heard that tune as well. I don't know those certain areas, some tuna. Only contains high levels, marketing yeah, we're assholes. I was reading something about fucking crabs. I put it up on my twitter that Crabs are getting Prozac in the water from human beings like because so many fuckin'
nut bags are on Prozac that it's getting into the oceans to run off and it's affecting crab behave here and it's making crabs reckless and I already same pretty fuckin' reckless. I know there bugs right, but apparently making the reckless areas. Hello. Zack puts crabs in a mood to take deadly risks, ship that was romanian through cools, I mean and what the fuck I mean. How crazy is the human race where we are giving Prozac inadvertently to fuqing crabs and changing their at a risk apparently they're worried about the population dying off or at least being affected, because these crabs are doing list things and it's going to cause them to get preyed upon or die what the Fartman crab brains on ssris
What was that word? How do you say that word, Jamie Team is a class of side, depressing called SSRI or selective, serotonin reuptake inhibitor, meaning that end directly Boosie amount of mood altering serotonin available to the brain, it's design going to affect people's brains in a way that can alleviate depressive symptoms, but pass research has shown that when a person's flu fox is teen filled waste enters their shit and piss enters the waterways, it can alter the shores, crabs, reproductive molting and digestive behaviors and may cause the crabs to abandoned their nocturnal schedule. According to the paper wow, humans accounts we are well, definitely a mouse would definitely mess. Speaking
